Excellent customer service!!!Visited store because I needed a new toaster oven. Viewed a few online but figured I should just go get one.Asked sales associate to help. I selected one of the available ovens. They didn’t have any more in stock so I was allowed to purchase floor model. Purchase transaction was normal right up to me walking out with oven. Sales associate noticed a sticker on oven as she handed it to me. Turns out I was charged the wrong price for said oven. And the display price was for a different oven. So it got very awkward! The oven I paid for was much cheaper than the oven I got. I just wanted a toaster oven and might of been ok with getting oven I paid for after looking at it, but they didn’t have one. After a little deliberation. The store manager told me it’s ok. You can have the original oven. They even gave me one in a box. Because it was in stock, no need for a floor model.Very classy and positive way to do business! Honoring paid price and customer!Thank you both!

Took a cooking class and enjoyed it. The menu was good and the staff was helpful. I didn’t enjoy it as much as classes at Whole Foods as the kitchen was smaller and there wasn’t as much hands on cooking. As part of the class you received a discount on merchandise and they did have some good items.

They have a great selection of kitchen and food wares from the mid to higher end kitchen. Lovely place with many other things to see in this area

Great kitchen supply store. Has everything you could possibly need. The staff is friendly and helpful and although they are a little pricey, they price match, so today I was able to save over 20 dollars which is huge in my opinion. Finally a good kitchen supply with quality items!!

Im surprised to see the low reviews of others. My girlfriend and I took a cooking class and really enjoyed it. I forget who our chef was, but she was pretty cool, was polite and helpful.Store is a bit pricey but I feel like its a get what you pay for kind of place, their items seem to be high quality, although Im not sure what their return policy is.I wouldve given 4.5 stars if I could, so I rounded up to help counter balance the negative reviews. One person obviously wrote the same review on two different accounts at one star which I feel like is skewing the average since there arent many reviews yet.

Fantastic! Took a class with on 12-28-2019 and from start to finish- it was wonderful. The chef was fantastic, the food was delicious, the people in the store were helpful and very friendly. I will be back for more classes. Certainly gave me a lot of confidence to start cooking and enjoy it. Thanks for a wonderful experience.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY! I was VERY DISAPPOINTED! What was supposed to be a 2 to 2 1/2 hour cooking class was only an hour and 20 minutes which left our pasta raw and not enjoyable or fit to eat. We learned absolutely nothing from the chef, she just verbally tells you what to do and does not show you any techniques at all. I really wanted to love the class but I feel they did the very least they could do and that our comfort and enjoyment was very low on their priority list. I wish I could recommend this place, but I JUST CANNOT! SERIOUSLY...DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

You don’t get to eat what you make. They mix everything together with every other person in the class and then distribute it back so you have no idea how you did. They also put you in groups of four so you don’t get to actually learn how to do every part of the recipe. Classes also run together so set up for the next class goes on while your class is still in session. Overall it seems like the company is more concerned with making money than actually teaching.

Would put zero if I could. Booked a week long class for my 13 year old daughter and a friend. One of the days my daughter is sitting at the curb for pick up saying the class got out almost an hour early. When asked for an explanation the chef(Genevieve) was aggressive and called my kid a liar.Don’t waste your money.

AVOID! More specifically, avoid Chef Genevieve. Go to Whole Foods instead! We enrolled my 13-year old in a class. In addition to finishing almost an hour early and letting the kids leave, they let my daughter sit outside on a curb by herself a full half hour before the class was scheduled to end. When I asked the chef about it, she was super aggressive, calling my child a liar and making her cry. While I definitely kicked into mama bear mode, Genevieve continued to attack her to the point where she left class and did not return...it was so disgraceful. While we did enjoy the classes with Chef Roman and Chef K, I cant write a positive review about this store when they are employing a bully who shows no respect for customers.

I love this store! Its very bright, clean, and organized, and the associates are helpful even though the store is brand new. Ive been a Sur La Table fan for about 10 years and this location does not disappoint. The kitchen for classes looks great, parking is easy, and Ive been able to quickly find what I was looking for. One of the only cons I have is that their knife sharpening service is not done by hand, they just run them through a machine. Go to the local kitchen store on 21st if you need sharpening services, they still do it by hand last I was there. If you are looking for holiday decor or mid to high end cookware, dinnerware, knives or other kitchen gadgets, check this place out! I think it has a cozier vibe and style than the other big name kitchen store and I think is generally a bit less expensive.

If I could rate a O I would, to make a long story short, I booked on Feb 10th for Feb the 15th the Saturday after Valentine’s Day, me and my girlfriend get there and the lady claims that our reservation number is for 2 days prior for Thursday the 13th and because we didn’t come they can’t refund the 160 I paid, the problem is i know I booked for the 15th because I was out of town on the 13th so there would be no reason to book for then plus they had a couple that didn’t show up today but never offered us to take their place or anything, my honest opinion is that since we were the only people of color in the entire building they did not want us there this racist company won’t get another dollar of my money and the curly head rep Had horrible customer service

I’ve gone to this store several times year after year and it’s always the same. Today there was 8 people behind the sales counter with long lines and no one was moving. It’s hard to tell who’s doing what. Poor slow service.

We have booked 2 classes for Saturday night and they were both cancelled the day before. It has been an incredibly frustrating experience to try to schedule a class. We did receive 50% off our next class after they cancelled the first time, but its little consolation when we plan to attend a class only to be told the day before that it is not going to be offered. Additionally, we used a gift card and it takes at least a week for them to send the refund on another gift card through the mail. Electronic gift cards would be a welcome surprise.
