I had great experiences dancing with Arthur Murray Studios in Colorado so I was excited to see there was a studio when I moved to Nashville. Juan even worked with my previous instructor so it was a perfect switch. Juan, Natalya, and Jan quickly became my family. The BEST place in Nashville for ballroom. I started taking ballroom lessons before when I lived in PA and moved to Nashville a bit nervous about starting at a new studio. However, from the second I walked through that door, they treated me like family and not only that, but their qualifications are wild! Dancing has been a lifelong desire, but something I was always too shy to do. January last year I found Arthur Murray and within a few lessons I was out on the town! We used this studio for our Wedding dance, and I am so glad we did! Natalya is an incredibly talented dancer and teacher, and is the sweetest person. I mean...you kinda have to judge a company based on how they treat you during COVID, right? Arthur Murray has been nothing short of amazing.My husband and I were seeking private dance lessons to have a choreographed dance to our wedding song. He called and set up a time to come in on a Saturday. When we arrived, our song was playing! It was such a special touch. I was shocked. We were the only ones there and Natalya is one of the sweetest women Ive ever met. I did not expect a dancing lesson on that first day - I thought we were just signing paperwork and such - but we got right into it! She is an amazing teacher and made us feel comfortable. My husband and I both feel like awkward dancers but she gave us confidence. Private lessons arent cheap - depends how many lessons you need but we opted for the $450 package. So I paid for the lessons w/ my credit card and we looked forward to our lessons. Well, then COVID happened and we had to postpone our wedding. We called to postpone the lessons and Natalya was very sweet about it. No problem. Then a couple months go by and we make the hard decision to cancel the wedding altogether. We called Natalya and she apologized profusely and didnt hesitate to give us a full refund. I just cant speak more highly of this place. No wonder it has a perfect rating. I hope to return some day for lessons.

I was in town on a business trip and took some group classes and stayed for the practice party. I travel quite a bit and have visited different Arthur Murray studios around the world and I was blown away at the friendly, family atmosphere at this location.Instructors/owners, Juan and Natalya, were highly skilled and friendly. They explained each dance step and technique in a fun and safe environment. Not only that, but their students were very supportive and friendly. In all the stress of planning our wedding, we decided that doing our first dance justice would make us happier than winging it, and Im so glad we decided to get a choreographed dance here. We worked with Natalya, who quickly choreographed to our song (which she had not heard before), and after a few short lessons we had a great dance that we pulled off flawlessly at our wedding. Natalya was able to fit us in with our hectic schedule and was so easy to work with. Constructive criticism, positive reinforcement, and making us look competent very quickly with movements weve never performed before. Even though she told me not to, the confidence I attained with the lessons (and good footing on the dance floor) I was able to get a great final dip of my bride, capping off an excellent first dance, all made possible by Natalya and Juan (who assisted at the end and was excellent and very nice as well). My wife and I are experienced ballroom dancers and 1st time visitors to Nashville. Although trained in many styles of dance we thought it would be fun to have an introduction to country western 2 step to experience some of the local culture. I called The studio and scheduled 2 sessions back to back with Juan. He was flexible on the time of the afternoon slot and genuinely interested in hearing about our dance experience and what style we wanted to lean. He was able to quickly gauge our skill level and then design fast moving instruction on many school figures during our lesson. At the end of our lesson we felt confident that we could fit in with the locals on any dance floor... As an instructor, Juan is knowledgeable, positive, personable and very much a gentleman. It was tremendous fun and will be a highlight memory of our adventure to Nashville.

My husband, David, and I have been taking dance lessons from Natalya and Juan for about 6 months now. These are our first dance lessons ever. At our age, (just turned 60) we needed an activity that got us up off the couch doing something together besides yard work or helping the adult kids with their projects, learning a skill that we could take to parties, wedding receptions, or cruises (leaving this weekend). Natalya and Juan are super positive, energetic, happy, and professional always giving out lots of hugs and encouragement.The investment in the time you can share together as a couple is invaluable. I strongly recommend it. And while Natalya and Juan possess the highest quality dance instruction you could ask for, they dont make you feel intimidated nor do they seem bored with beginners . . . doing basic instruction. Its ALWAYS a pleasure to go to dance class.

Started taking lessons with them during the lockdown and they were able to put together classes online. Really made the time so much better! Natalya is a great teacher, but beyond that does a great job of getting you excited about dance. That helps a ton since it can feel more awkward than thrilling when you dont know anything yet! She taught us a great breadth of latin & ballroom styles. Thats been more useful than I expected. A good teacher knows how to answer the questions you didnt know to ask :-)

He is extremely knowledgeable and a great instructor. I also had the pleasure of working with Natalya who is delightful, a marvelous dancer, and an excellent teacher.

I grew up in a dance studio, training in tap, jazz and ballet. It was my home away from. Natalya and Juan are unlike any other teachers that Ive ever had and Arthur Murray Nashville is becoming that home away from home that Ive searched for since moving to Tennessee. Ive never taken any ballroom class and they are making classes SO fun. I have so much confidence in them and the upmost respect! Not to mention the happiest ballroom Ive ever seen.

A Guys PerspectiveMy wife (fiance at the time) and I took intro dance lessons at Arthur Murray in Nashville. We wanted to learn basic dances and also have our first dance on our wedding day choreographed to our song choices. Note that I am a complete beginner with no prior dance experience.From the first time we met Natalya and Juan, and from the 15 minute introduction Natalya gave us, we knew we were at the right place. These guys are phenomenal to work with but more importantly phenomenal to learn from. Natalya did our choreography and we were so happy with the result. We will post up a video soon.Juan was super open about the group nights, and focused on more of the latin dances to help me out since I have a latin background.Overall 5 stars with these guys. I would highly recommend them whether it be for dance lessons or intro courses.
