Alhamdulliah, I made my trip to middle school successfully and have finished one year of it, I have to say that Im very impressed, after reading the reviews in 5th grade I was scared for what I was going to walk into, but when I came online on my first day all the teachers were absolutely friendly they held off on a lot of homework too. The 2 best teachers undeniably I met out there had to be Br Muhammad(Quran teacher) and Sr Nina(Math and social studies teacher), When I spoke with former MDQ middle schoolers they said that the teachers dont care about you they are not professional, they yell at you, and that I should save Myself. But what I realized was the more the teachers would watch you and make sure you were perfect, it showed how much these teachers care about me. Alhamdulliah all the teachers were amazing, I would also like to thank Sr ebtesam, Mr. Peter, Sr Ayesha, Br Roman the roman emperor, for all being there with me. I love MDQ and I will inshallah stay till 12th grade. I pray for All staff, faculty members, and Sr Attia to keep this school as amazing as it is.Salam Alaikum

It is a good school in my opinion the teachers are nice and the food is good also i just dont like the classrooms very much they are small and old and the cleanliness of the restrooms are also not good but overall nice school! Lots of people are saying that its a bad school because of reasons like the Arabic teacher cant speak which she can so i dont understand most of the bad reviews because most of them are based off of a students depiction to a parent and a lot of the kids in our school twist things to make the school look bad as a joke and if you keep telling yourself something you begin to believe it so as me being a student these problems dont exist our teachers all speak English and teach us well if you dont have the exact amount you usually can just have the food and take money there tomorrow and almost all the other problems in the reviews do not exist in the school and most of it s just made up my kids telling their parents. the building isnt the best but its rented and hopefully soon it will be better the school can become a lot better once they have purchased a building while i do think the school needs more improvements i think the school is trying its best and is a great school i will hopefully be going here for more years to come! And dont believe reviews that entirely twist the situation of the school its a great school.

I am a student at MDQ academy and i am in elementary. my trip to middle school is next year but the way people are talking about it is taking my excitement away i love MDQ and it doesnt matter on the qualification stuff it matters if you learn something and the amount i have learned is amazing.

The only thing that’s good about the school is that it’s private otherwise the staff are very rude and the teachers are not certified, education wise cannot reach up to public school. If you don’t pay tuition on time they won’t let your child go to class. They don’t care about students they only care about money. My daughter had failed day regents in ninth grade they told her last minute in 12 grade.

The method of teaching here was so bad that it was almost comical. a chair could yield better discipline and passion than this. in fact, please take this time in quarantine to replace your entire staff with chairs. thank you.

I worked at MDQ for three years and loved every minute of it. The Principal and staff were and are my second family. This is the best Islamic School I’ve ever worked in.

This school is an amazing atmosphere for my child. Teachers and admins are inspirational and go out of there way to make each child shine. I am so happy to be part of this community.

Ill have to be honest. This school was never that bad until recently. From illegal bag checks to no health classes provided . Many teachers arent even certified , and many teachers are to lazy to grade, so they pull out students out of lessons and have them grade everything (including tests!) . Teachers are way to strict for no reason.

The teachers are terribly unprofessional here and some make the students uncomfortable. Overall, would not recommend this school at all.

Its funny how all the good reviews are coming from the staff. This school is complete garbage especially for high school they provide no proper help to the kids who need it. Also the new principle has no idea what she is doing 100% unprofessional and doing an absolute abomination of a job.

The best school in Long island area. Best administration and very professional principal. They all working very hard for our children. Most of the teachers are very cooperative and care about their students. My friends nieces and nephews are going there and I admire their manors and academic achievements. Parents volunteers are so dedicated and PSC team is Superb! Im moving to NY for this school, so my children can go to this school. Its AMAZINg!!!

They and we are not perfect , we won’t see eye to eye on everything , and we can disagree , no need to grab a hammer and hit each other over the head over small differences and disagreements. But they are good and attempting to do good , so I support them in all their efforts. I have one son Sameer there now , and possibly more in the future , Inshallah.

MDQ Academy is a blessing to our community and our children. The school administration, staff, and volunteers work selflessly and diligently to provide the best that they can for our future generation. The principal’s open for policy makes it easy for parents, staff, and students to communicate with her, Alhamdulillah for her and the school. All of the negative reviews are fake and not true at all, I’m speaking and writing from experience.

May this school prosper and grow even bigger than it is because it is doing an amazing job in nurturing our future generations and providing them with opportunities to help them excel in being conscious educated American citizens.

Worst school Ever , Unprofessional teachers, Illegal acts, Teacher-Student drama, and so much more. More then half the teachers at this school arent certified to teach but yet they do. The Students dont understand half the material being taught due to the fact that the teachers dont know how to teach correctly. Most students Start to suffer from depression due to all the bullying going on which the teachers seem to ignore. The Principal goes into students private business and stalks them on social media. The Principal also creates lies and problems to tell the students parents due to the fact a student is a different race then her. The teachers create drama with the students to simply embarrass them. The Teachers do illegal searches on a hunch or a rumor. The teachers favor certain students over others. Horrible environment for little or growing kids.Cursing and profanity going on and so much more.

This school is ABSOLUTE trash. Teachers are unfair and bias. They also conduct illegal bag checks for they have no search warrant. The principal is not qualified at all, picking on students and giving unfair punishments. The principal and some teachers need to be changed. Principal is stalking social media and interfering w things that are none of her business . @ attia . Teachers lie commonly . Do not send your kid to this school , if u to want them to have a good future . Also many teachers arent even certified to teach @ tayyib Or dont teach at all @ ruman .They dont even know English. I had 1 kid here.

MashaAllah school is great my daughter studying there since pre-K she is a great student and learning better then any public school MashAllah

This school used to be a better place with the old principal. It barely has what it means to be an “islamic“ school. Most of the teachers are not properly certified to even be teachers. Education here is terrible. Even students with good grades are going around complaining about the teachers and the principal, Attia Pasha. Many parents send their children here hoping their children can learn in an Islamic environment. Hopefully this school can become a better place in the future.

This school is unorganized. Recently, I ordered lunch from the school and paid the money, but the lunch was never delivered. Things like this always go on in the school, and the environment is very bad for educational growth. Overall, an inadequate place to send your children.

Very bad experience after 3 years I have to take my kids out because of sister Olga and principal Atia super rude it’s amazing how come the people who are in charge don’t take action.What happen was my daughter took the money to school for lunch but she didn’t have the exact change so sister Olga told her she can’t get food because she didn’t have the exact change and it’s school policy to bring the exact money for food and for that reason she was denied food unbelievable.Before I talk to the principal I wanted to talk to sister Olga and she told me the same thing without even apologizing that’s when I was really upset and wanted to take the kids out of this place and I wanted to talk to sister Atia she didn’t did much.We went to the office told the principal we are taking the kids out of MDQ and I ask for the refund she said sure she is gonna talk to the board members and that was it she didn’t have nothing to say why you are taking the kids out or say anything encouraging to the kids not a word.I emailed all the board members and I guess they talk to sister Atia and when after few weeks we went to get the refund check so we found out sister Atia have change her story she said to us she thought we was leaving NY so for that reason she didn’t say anything which is even more crazy if she thought we was going out of NY state she should’ve said something to the kids but I guess that’s what she told the board members.I think she is relative of some of the board members because it’s amazing after all the bad reviews she is still there.And many issues with the teachers.I’m not happy to take this action but didn’t want my kids to go through all this even we are paying and it’s Islamic school where we are teaching Islamic studies and the people who are running the school are not acting like muslims.Now they are asking all the staff to put in the good reviews it’s unbelievable where these (Muslims)are going it’s all about the money nothing Islamic in this school.I hope they have option of zero stars because the principal and some of the staff don’t deserve even one star.

The new principle Atia Pasha is unprofessional. Teachers and educational committee are unqualified individuals. There isnt a teacher in this school who is board certified.

I have been sending my kids here for 3 years and every year it gets worse, I went for the ptc for my son and I coudnt even understand the arabic teacher, I didnt understand why they hired a teacher who cant even speak English right. For the last 3 years my kids have learned no Arabic what so ever. The principal has also sent my son multiple times to her office just to flirt with him. He has also complained multiple times about this to the middle school concealer but he hasnt done anything. This year will be the last year i will tolerate this and i am taking out my kids this year. I do not suggest anyone to attend this school if you want your kids to have better education and a better environment. If you live near brentwood you should go to Brentwood east middle school or Brentwood High school!All the good reviews are teachers, who were most definitely paid.Trust me as a parent.This school will be hell for your child. HELL.

At first I was a bit skeptical of this school as parents we ask ourselves a lot of questions. But without a doubt the teaching of this school has fulfilled my expectations, my daughter has been in PK since she is in school she has improved and has learned a lot.
