We are first time parents and had lots of reservations about selecting childcare for our son. We have been so impressed with the AcademyofMF. The Director (Alanna) and Asst Director (Teka) have welcomed us with open arms and been very responsive to our needs and questions. The biggest impact for us has hands down been our sons teacher, Ms. Melissa! She eased us into the process and has provided the highest level of care and love to our son, all while managing multiple infants/classroom. We have had a great experience and would recommend this center for childcare.

My grandchildren attend this school and the academics and activities are excellent.

We have two children at the Academy of Maryland Farms and have been there for a little over 2 years. We have been pleased every step of the way and completely entrust them to care for and help educate our children. Our daughter has been with Sean for two transitions now and his name has become common conversation in our household, as well as Fallon’s. Donielle and Kelsey are with our son and send daily videos so that we can see his sweet face while we are at work. Michele and Brooke are great at communicating and accommodating our needs. We have and will continue to recommend the Academy!

We loved the Academy of Maryland Farms. Our infant son was a student until 9 months when we switched to another school closer to our home. He loved the teachers, friends and activities they did daily. A big plus is the meals the children get - one less thing to think about when packing/starting the day.

My grandchild attends this school and our family love it here! When I pick up my grandchild I am always greeted with smiling faces and shown back to the classroom. My daughter speaks highly of the place as well and often recommends this school to her friends. We are so happy with this place of business! Shout out to AOMF!!

We love the staff here! They are professional, fun and caring, and always welcome us with a smile. It makes being a working mom a lot easier knowing my child is well taken care of. The curriculum and programs provided are wonderful for the children and also great at integrating the parents and families.

We love the Academy of Maryland Farms! After 10 weeks of maternity leave, I was dreading going back to work, but the Academy made the transition so, SO much easier. It was immediately clear to me that Michele, Niyoka, and all of the teachers knew what they were doing and, most importantly, loved my daughter and treated her as if she were their own. This place really has become like family, and we are so grateful for it! We feel blessed to be able to leave our baby with people we trust. And our daughter feels similarly, as evidenced by her smiles as soon as we walk in the doors :)

We love AOMF! The staff and teachers are amazing. Every teacher knows every childs name. They also have an outstanding curriculum and fun parties for the kiddos. We highly recommend the Academy!

Both of my kiddos go to this daycare! We absolutely love this place. Every single person working there knows my kids by name. They are always so happy! Learning tons and having fun while doing it. I have been very happy with the time my daughter has spent at this daycare. The most important thing to me above anything is the teachers because those are the people taking care of my daughter every day. I really think there are some wonderful teachers here and I feel very safe and comfortable leaving my daughter there which means a lot to my husband and me. I also like all the fun activities they plan for the children throughout the day!

My wife and I popped to tour this facility because we were looking for infant care for our son. When we entered the center there was soft music playing and we were greeted with a contagious smile from the assistant Director. She then walked us back to give us a tour of the school. Being that we were first time parents we were clueless on what to look for and the appropriate questions to ask. The assistant director was very thorough and provided us answers to questions that she said most parents would ask. This was so helpful to us and gave us more insight on what to look for at prospective daycares. When we entered the infant classroom the babies all looked peaceful as the teacher had them around her reading a book. This gave us a peace of mind. As the tour concluded we were able to meet the director, who had a pleasant attitude as well and offered to answer any questions that we may have. We had other daycares to visit but we knew that we for sure wanted our son to be on the wait list at this school. Unfortunately, my wife has been offered a position in Boston, so we would be relocating in a about two weeks, but from the awesome experience during our tour, we would definitely recommend this school.

I found out I was expecting a baby right around the time we were in the process of adopting 3 boys. This meant we would have a newborn and a toddler in daycare. In asking around I had heard many great things from others about the Academy. I was extremely fortunate in finding the Academy of Maryland Farms. The facility is amazing and more so are the people. Our now 4 year old has grown so much over the last 6 months with his attendance at the Academy. The Director and Staff have been so helpful and patient as we are learning to be parents to these wonderful boys. My 3 month old started recently and I was so at ease on his first day. The staff is like an extension of our family. Not only do they provide top notch learning and staff, they adore and care about the children that attend. I couldnt imagine my boys being anywhere else.

The academy of Maryland farms is awesome! My daughter has been going there for over a year and I am so glad I made the choice to bring her here. All the teachers are fantastic and very attuned to my daughters needs. The director, Lauren, is also awesome and always so helpful and and on top of things! I highly recommend bringing your child here.

We have a 21 month old and a 8 month old at the Academy of Maryland Farms. We cannot say enough good things about Miss Lauren and her incredible team. We love walking into a fun, cheerful, clean and safe environment each and every morning. My oldest daughter looks forward to eating whatever Miss Beth has prepared for breakfast each morning with mom, while dad takes our youngest son to begin circle time in his Infant 2 classroom. Seeing feelings of comfort and joy on my kids faces as we walk through the doors each morning gives me such peace, and that is absolutely priceless. Thank you for making us feel part of the Academy family, we are blessed!

We are having a wonderful experience with The Academy. We have been there now for almost 6 months. My son (currently 18 mos) was previously at a home care daycare and was frustrated and unhappy. The Academy has encouraged his creativity and his gross motor skills have dramatically improved. The curriculum is wonderful and engaging. Capturing the attention span of 18 month olds is daunting, and they are successfully doing so with my son. He comes home singing songs and clapping all the time! I would refer friends and family looking for a daycare in a heartbeat. The staff are warm and welcoming and truly love the kids. Lauren has been nothing short of wonderful. We have had a few minor behavioral issues and she has worked to help us address them and move forward in a professional way. Thank you Academy for giving me a peace of mind every day that my son is well taken care of!

We just love AOMF. Im constantly amazed by the quality and contribution of the staff. Everyone knows our child by name, and each teacher whose class weve passed through has contributed to our childs development and learning in such an impactful way. I recommend it without hesitation.

Our 18 month old son has been at AOMF since he was 3 months old and we love it. The teachers are wonderful and caring and they really become like family. They have a great curriculum and creative activities for them no matter the age or classroom. The menu is well balanced and better than other childcare places we looked at. The extra activities for holidays or special events are wonderful too and allows parents to get more involved. We would recommend The Academy Maryland Farms to anyone with childcare needs.

I cant say enough great things about Ms. Lauren and her team at AoMF. They have been so wonderful to me and my family - kind, patient, accommodating, and incredibly caring. I completely trust them to hire only the very best people to work there, and have been thoroughly impressed with each and every teacher to date. I feel like my child is in excellent hands each day, and Im grateful to be part of such a good program led by such great people.

Our two children attended AoMF since they were 3 months old and they are now almost 2. All of their teachers have been warm, attentive and caring. Most recently they have been in the Toddler 2 class with Miss Haley and Miss Kristina. Both of these ladies have been so enjoyable to interact with and our kids love them. Since infancy their teachers have taught our children sign language which has been useful while communicating at home. They participate in art and music activities and our kids love this. They have had fun and informative guests visit them. When we pick them up every day they are so happy and all their classmates hug them and wave good bye. Its very sweet but I think they do this because they all are happy, confident and well looked after. We recently had to move out of state and well really miss Miss Lauren and her team.

We have been at Maryland Farms for almost 3 months and every staff member makes me feel so good to leave my child there. His teachers are precious and love on my baby everyday. They send me pictures if I am worried and call if anything is out the ordinary. The directors also spend time with my child and make an effort to know him and give him special attention when hes having a rough day. I highly recommend this facility!

Four years ago we were looking for a school for our soon to be addition to the family. There were several schools in the area and after many hours of tours, interviews, review of curriculum, amenities, and staff introductions we had to make a decision. Although there were plenty to choose from, at the end of the day I was only comfortable with one school we toured, the Academy of Maryland Farms. Other schools may have had newer buildings or amenities, but the warmth I felt from the staff, the people who would be spending all day interacting and teaching my child, could not be matched by any other school we toured. I now have two children enrolled and the staff is still just as wonderful as the first time I toured. I am fairly certain all the staff knows every child in that school by name. The fact that my children constantly amaze me with what they have learned and love the additional fun activities planned each week are just a bonus!

We love this school. I transferred my 2 year old daughter to AOMF about 6 months ago, and have been incredibly pleased. Lauren goes out of her way to match each class with the best possible teacher. Our daughters teacher (Brooke) is THE BEST! So happy to have found this place.

I’ve had two children go through AOMF over a 9 year span and have had nothing but the best experience for both. The staff are wonderful and my children have thrived and loved all of their teachers. The real test for us was our youngest who has autism and yet despite his social deficits has truly blossomed at AOMF where the staff makes extra sure to treat him as one of the kids while also being attentive to his unique needs. They truly care and look out for him every day. We could not have been more satisfied.

I love the Academy of Maryland Farms! It was hard going back to work after my son was born, but every one here has made the transition a little easier. Both of my children began at the Academy at 12 weeks of age. Over the past four years, I have seen my children develop into smart, well rounded children. I love the Spanish and Computer programs they offer the children, and the staff are very kind and patient towards all of the kids. I know all children are in good hands at the Academy of Maryland Farms.

Our two children attend The Academy Of Maryland Farms and LOVE it. Every week they have fun themes, special guests, dress up days and loads of family days through out the year to keep the parents involved.Our children have learned SO much since starting and they have FUN every day. Both of our children attend this daycare and we really love it. The staff is really friendly and they really try to work with us on special requests we have for our children. The teachers do a great job with the kids and we love all the extras that the school provides like the enrichment courses and breakfast and coffee for the parents! I would recommend this school to any parent!

Mrs. Khatoon is a teacher in the Infant 1 class. She is AMAZING and really helped our son develop at such an early age. She truly cares about her students and it shines through. Our sweet baby boy still lights up to this day when he sees her! She is wonderful and the Academy of Maryland Farms is lucky to have her! Good teachers and curriculum. Lots of fun activities and events for the kids throughout the year in addition to the traditional curriculum. The director is very engaged and responsive. My kids really enjoyed their time there.

The Academy of Maryland Farms has been a great place for our family, and I am so happy with our decision to send our little girl here. I only work part time, so I was so glad to know they had an option open for 2 days/week. Even though she is there much less frequently than the majority of the kids, she is still a high priority to everyone there. It is so nice to walk through the halls and have various teachers/staff members greet her by name.Putting your child in the care of others while you are gone is a difficult thing to do, but we could not be more pleased with our decision to go with the Academy of Maryland Farms. She is well cared for while we are away!

We have been taking our son to Academy of Maryland Farms since he was 14 weeks old. He is now 2 and we think of AoMF like family. He is so excited to go to school every morning. The directors and teaching staff love and care for your kids as their own. Our son was born premature and the Academy was able to help with some developmental delays along they way. Now he is playing, thriving, and learning everyday.We love the Academy!

This is a professionally run facility with educated staff. Most importantly, though, they love the kids! They work very hard to provide a safe and fun environment for the kids to grow and thrive. The facilities are always decorated beautifully and festively. The food is nutritious. The curriculum is solid. Enrichment is included. They provide extra little festive events just to get parents involved - like a hot cocoa bar in winter, or little coloring projects & snacks ready at pickup time. They even had a flu shot clinic on site in the Fall. They go above and beyond. My daughter started at AOMF when she was 9 months old. She is now 2 and growing so fast! Every person on staff greets us by name when we are in the building. Its things like that - knowing that they know who we are and they know what makes my daughter special - how she learns, what makes her laugh, what makes her melt down. I know she is receiving the very best care while I have to be away from her. Lauren and her team are awesome.

We love AOMF! They do such a great job taking care of our babies and making sure the parents are informed and happy as well. 5 stars for sure!

We can not say enough good things about AoMF! We were very fortunate to have fallen in the right place at the right time for my sons ever growing busy mind. They make learning so fun and interactive, I wanted to come play too! The Academy has become more than a place for us to go during the week. I am so thankful for the staff at AOMF! My child used to see the building of her previous school and instantly begin crying. Now, she is excited for school and to see her teachers. Everyone at AOMF treats my child as one of their own. Even on her difficult days, my child is supported and loved at this school. AOMF uses a variety of play and fun to ensure social and emotional development so crucial in the preschool years.

Although there has been some turn over in my sons classroom, Lauren (the director) strives to keep the appropriate teachers in the appropriate classrooms. Lauren is always available to discuss any concerns I have and is very knowledgeable, helpful, and patient. My son loves his teachers and is always excited to go to school. Academy of Maryland Farms (AOMF) was our first introduction to daycare for our little one and they set the standard high! My husband and I have been very impressed with the professional staff, the cleanliness and well maintained facilities, and most importantly, the care our child receives. The staff is very educated, constantly improving themselves through college courses (many working on Bachelor or Master degrees) and professional development. Even on tough days the staff is smiling and very caring to the children--always giving them their full attention and offering educational material/activities. The staff, especially the administration has been very good about communication with parents, especially on personal issues with our child. The Tadpole system used at this facility allows us to get an electronic full daily report as well as pictures of our little one throughout the day (which we love!). And did I mention they allow CLOTH DIAPERS?!? This was something very important to us for our babys health and the environment. Thanks for giving us peace of mind, AOMF!!

AoMF has great people and facilities. They have a great location in the middle of Maryland Farms for people who work in the Brentwood area. When we were in a bind and needed semi-full time daycare on short notice, they came through with availability, flexibility, and affordability.

AOMF takes great care of our children. We know they are well fed, well loved and learning new things every day.

Our son attended AOMF and we had a horrendous experience. Between teachers spending the day on their phones, to neglecting to feed our infant for 6 hours, teachers who were unable to speak English so could not communicate about the babys day or accept instructions regarding the babys care, it was an all-around horrendous experience. We had meetings with the director and COO to address our concerns and steps were never taken to correct the issues. Please find somewhere else to send your children.

Our son started at AOMF when he was three months old, and its been a great experience so far in the infant rooms. The facilities are clean (so important!), the teachers are intelligent and well-trained, and the directors are professional, friendly and present every day. Within a week, every staff member knew his name and mine too. Transitioning your young child to daycare after receiving one-on-one care at home (from mom and dad) is stressful and a bit terrifying. But the staff at AOMF made us feel welcome and have been especially focused on keeping our son on a consistent schedule (that we lead!). Its made all the difference, and I tell friends constantly that the transition was smoother than I expected. We highly recommend AOMF.

My son has attended AoMF for six months now and we love it. The teachers are very patient with the children and pride themselves in taking time with the kids individually as well as collectively. Lauren Demain is an exceptional director. She takes the time to greet families in the mornings before school and wishes us a great day upon leaving. She keeps us well informed on the happenings at AoMF as well as any delay or updates that come along. If you are interested in a great school with lots of friendly faces and a curriculum that your child can learn and thrive in, then look no further because AoMF is the place to be.

My daughter has been at the Academy of Maryland Farms for 6 months and we could not be happier with our decision. I work very close by and have regularly stopped by at all times of the day, especially in the beginning, and I have always been more than pleased with the entire staff. My daughter is loved and cared for by her teachers and they have developed a great relationship. Communication is second to none. I have emailed the director questions on a Saturday afternoon and recieved a response that day! Big shout out to Ms. Bre, she is loved by our family. Everytime I came into the room she was on the floor at the childrens level interacting and loving on all the kids!

I was a substitute teacher at The Academy of Maryland Farms this year. From an employees perspective, it was a phenomenal place to work! All of the teachers cared for the children so much. Each teacher had her own unique personality and teaching style, and it was a joy getting to know all of them! Their lesson plans were clever and very educational, and the kids REALLY got into them.As an employee (but also just as a human being), I always felt very supported by the administrative staff of AoMF. Lauren Demain is a WONDERFULLY AWESOME Director. Ive seen her interact with the parents of the children, and I was so impressed with the familiarity with which they spoke. It was like Lauren was part of the family. She knew what was going on with the families, special needs that a child may have, what the childs favorite cartoon character was, etc.. Again, I was very impressed with Laurens abilities as the Director of AoMF. Her Assistant Director, Cheli Gibson, is also wonderful. She really knows all of the little tricks to get kids excited about the everyday tasks, such as pottying or clean up time. Shes so kind-hearted and empathetic with the children. It really warmed my heart.The children stole my heart! Unfortunately, I made a geographical move, and had to leave AoMF at the beginning of May. I cried when I left. It was so easy to get attached to all of the kids because we spend so much time together. We played in the block center, science center, home living center, and outside on the playground daily. It was a joy watching the light-hearted kids have so much exploring their environment and learning about a crazy-awesome variety of subjects. In the months I was employed at AoMF, the kids learned about the culture in Australia, about the Nile River and the different creatures that live in it, and about the red poppy as a symbol for rememberance of veterans that fought in World War I. They watched each stage of life of a butterfly and of a ladybug! How cool is it to watch with your own eyes a little insect turn into a real ladybug. Those are just a few examples of the awesome things the kids get to do. The kids also get a chance to be at school and share experiences with their families. Parents are always welcomed to visit their children, and The Academy plans events like the family Easter Egg Hunt and Family Picnics. It was really special to see the kids interacting with their parents and also to see the parents interacting with their childs friends. Each AoMF classroom felt like its own family!I worked more with the children ages 1.5 and up; however, when I did substitute for teachers in the infants classrooms...sigh, it was wonderful. The teachers of the infant classrooms blew my mind with how natural it was for them to take such good care of the babies. Im not a mother yet, so it was wonderful getting a lesson of how its done with special care and love. All of the teachers treat the children as if they were their own. Each baby gets special attention throughout the day.If I become a mother, I would strongly consider a geographical move back to the Brentwood area just so my kids could go to AoMF. Truly.I cant thank them enough for the wonderful experience I had as a teacher there.
