My little one and I love the Academy of Powell Place. She has been attending school here since she was six weeks old and she has grown so much and learned so much since then. Her teachers care for her over and beyond, and I couldn’t ask for better. The school, as a whole, is splendid! The director and assistant director, Michele and Autumn, are so awesome and transparent! I love the communication and always being informed on changes in my child’s class, with the weather, etc.They are on top of everything! Love, love, love this school!

We couldnt be happier with our experience at the Academy of Powell Place. Our daughter has attend it for almost 2 years and she has flourished in her social skills and education I am amazed at the knowledge and skills she has gained and know that we could not be teaching her as much own our own at home. Her teachers and staff all show great care to the children, as if they were their own, which give us parents great peace when sending her to school every day. We love Academy of Powell Place, Our daughter started a month ago in infant care and they have already become part of our family. She absolutely loves the place and faculty. Autumn is welcoming and very friendly in answering all the questions. Our daughter loves Aubrey and other infant care teachers. We love the ambience of the facility, Its vibrant and colorful. Also, its not just any other daycare, their curriculum is both educational and fun. Overall its a brilliant facility with faculty who loves what they do. Also, they send the pictures of our kid which i love it.

We are new to Academy of Powell Place and have been very happy with it. Autumn has been so helpful in getting us started and our teachers are wonderful with our son. Going from care at home to daycare is tough but theyve made the transition much easier!

I have truly enjoyed the exemplary service that the Academy of Powell Place provides. My daughter truly loved the Academy. The facility is top notch with all the bells and whistles with children’s safety being a focal point. The Director and the Assistant Directors always have each and every one of the children’s best interest at heart. The staff at the Academy is sincere, caring and passionate about what they do. They are always teaching the children those things that will help thee children grow and develop into great little people. It doesn’t seem just like a job to them. They seem to all enjoy what they do and the interactions with the kids. All the staff treat the children just like you would want them to treat your child. I have recommended the Academy of Powell Place to other families that have since joined and have similar experiences. I will continue to highly recommend the Academy of Powell Place to all others as well. As a side note, we have a son that went through the Academy as well and now is doing exceptionally well in grade school (all A’s on all of his report cards except for an occasional B). Love that my boys are taken care of at Academy of Powell Place! The staff is excellent and always friendly. Communication from the teachers is quick and plentiful. They send lots of photos, which I love. We are thankful for this loving place!

Leaving my son and going back to work ( as any mother/father knows) was the hardest thing to comprehend! Now, my son is 7 months old and literally smiles every time he sees Miss Sandra and his other teachers in Infant 1 and I cant be more thankful for that! When I pick him up they are always dancing, laughing or singing and it cracks me up because he is just as happy as when i left him there in the morning. The best part is when they send videos of the babies outside, playing with games and different curriculum. This place is the best and highly recommend it to any parents/caretakers!

Our daughter has attended the Academy since she was an infant. We absolutely love the facility and the staff. The curriculum is challenging for our daughter, but also very effective.

My husband and I have been very happy with the care and early education our daughter has been receiving at The Academy of Powell place! From the numerous art activities, books read and just fun photos we receive throughout the day we know she’s in wonderful hands with her teachers. She just lights up when she sees them and makes it just a tiny bit easier to leave her each morning knowing she loves them too

The academy of Powell place is an amazing school. My son loves going to school every day and hates leaving. As a working mom my heart is full when I know he is taken care of. The staff, director and cook make it a center we never want to leave! If your looking for the best the academy is it!

This school is fantastic. The facility is clean, beautiful, and always decorated for the season. The staff is helpful, caring, and friendly. Parents get a breakfast spread every morning, a monthly calendar detailing their childs daily menu and special activities, and a daily Tadpole app report with photos and videos of their child. My daughter has learned so much and has made such fantastic art project keepsakes here. I am so thankful and grateful for this Academy location!

We are so thankful we chose The Academy of Powell Place for our baby! His teachers, Ms. Mia & Ms. Amber, are amazing! You can tell they really care for your childs well being and it makes me feel so comfortable to leave him with them everyday. The director, Casey, is amazing as well! She is so responsive and takes her job seriously. I never have to tell her or any of the staff who my child is when I call. They know me immediately and are welcome by check in calls. The location is safe, clean and bright and the teachers shine! Casey and her team place the needs of each child first. They work tirelessly to ensure the safety, comfort and engagement of children they care for. We have been going there a year and it has been a great source of comfort knowing my daughter is so well cared for.

Wonderful school. When we moved my son mid-year his academic learning sky rocketed. They truly love children. I feel safe knowing my child is cared for and is prepared for his further education.

I am a new mom, so choosing a daycare was a huge deal to me. We toured several other daycare centers around town and the academy of powell place was our favorite. It just felt right. We are very lucky to be here. This place is nice, safe, and clean. The teachers and staff are absolutely wonderful and make you feel good knowing your child is in great hands. I really like the tadpoles that we receive each day, showing how much fun our child is having. I also LOVE that there is a nice cozy room for nursing mothers; which I use often. This place is the best!

Our child has attended the Academy of Powell Place since it opened (transferring from The Academy of Maryland Farms). We love this new Academy location! The staff are great and the kids enjoy daily activities inside and out. The location has been custom built out to cater for the little ones.

Great environment and staff! They make the parents feel welcome in the school by having many events to attend. I love the new tadpoles program and look forward to receiving my digital daily sheets each day. I feel like this program is worth all of the pennies we spend on it.

My son has been at AOPP since he was 12 weeks old. I have always felt like he is in the best hands, and I know the teachers love on him all day! He always has a smile on his face when I pick him up, and they are great about sending me pictures throughout the day so I feel connected.

We absolutely love the Academy of Powell Place! We have been dropping off children at an Academy school each day for nearly 8 years. We started at the Academy of Maryland Farms when my oldest was just 13 weeks old. My youngest is now 4 and we transitioned him to the Powell Place location when it opened in January 2015. The facilities at Powell Place are amazing -- truly second-to-none! The atmosphere is warm and inviting with a large enrichment / welcome area & breakfast for parents and children is offered each morning. We also love the curriculum and the fact that there are two PreK rooms -- one for age 4 and one for age 5. The best part of the school, however, is the staff. The director and assistant director work hard to know the children well, make them feel at ease, and secure the best teachers in town! I work in Nashville close to downtown and have many childcare options closer to work. But, I choose to drive 20 minutes out of the way each day to drop my children off in an environment where I know they are loved and valued.

My child has been going to AOPP for almost a year now and we love it there. The Director, Assistant Director, her teachers and other staff are all very caring and attentive. I have seen my two-year-old come out of her shell so much in such a short amount of time. The Academy shows a commitment to each childs educational future and to continuously developing new and innovative programming so that every child has access to the most current and relevant curriculum available.Everyone there incorporates healthy doses of love and understanding as they prepare the young children for higher learning. My child loves going there and is looking forward to Summer Camp!

We highly recommend the Academy of Powell Place in Brentwood! We started at the Maryland Farms branch back in 2011 and moved to the new location, Powell Place, shortly after it opened in January 2015. The Director, Casey Williams, is truly involved, passionate about children and their safety, and very attentive to our needs. The curriculum is well blended and rather advanced; they have fun weekly activities for the little ones and other events for the entire family. The teachers are so friendly, caring, and very organized. And last but not least, the new building is so welcoming, clean, and, secure. All in all, this is a great place for children to learn, have fun, and be safe.

After countless daycare tours, we picked the Academy of Powell Place. Not only was the facility brand new but the director Casey was very knowledgeable and made me feel at ease. My son had just turned two and this would be his first daycare experience, I was apprehensive. But a little over a year later, not only does he love his school and all his friends but I do too. They have a ton of activities that families are able to join. I know what he is doing daily in school with up to date calendars that are provided weekly/monthly. I even know what he is eating! I know he is well taken care of by Casey and her team. The teachers are so loving and care about each and every one of their children. The free continental breakfast for parents also is pretty awesome!

My son has been attending since he was 8 weeks old and LOVES it here! When I drop him off, he goes straight to playing and laughing and barely acknowledges that I am leaving ;) The facilities are extremely nice and the teachers really care about the kids! I also appreciate how the infant rooms are divided into 3 tiers based on a mixture of age and abilities (6 weeks-6 months/sitting, 6-9months/crawling, 9-12 months/walking). This seems to really help each room be equipped with age and skill appropriate activities, especially since they are changing so much in that first year. The teachers and director are also willing to work with the parents to find a good routine that works for each kid at home and at school. Also, I have really been grateful that food is included in the tuition price and can trust that he is getting a pretty well rounded meal and snacks while there. Finally, I enjoy the how user-friendly the Tadpoles app is to check in my child each day and how the teachers can send us photos and videos throughout the day!

We love love love Academy of Powell Place! All of the staff/teachers are absolutely amazing. My 8 month old starts smiling the minute we walk in the door. I am so thankful that we have such a great daycare to bring our baby to. I know he is being so well taken care of, and that is the most important thing in the world to us. I cant recommend the Academy of Powell Place enough.

We have been part of the AOPP family since 2016, so three years now. It has been a good experience. We have had some amazing, caring, smart, and well-trained teachers. The building is beautiful and the activities are so engaging. We know that AOPP has made a difference in our daughters development in all ways - socially, emotionally, and now academically, as she has moved into Pre-K.

Casey and her team are wonderful and we really are lucky to have found Academy. While we were very impressed by every center in Brentwood, I liked Caseys leadership, the new facilities and wonderful team she has. Our child continues to develop and I know this has a lot to do with the curriculum and daily stimulation Academy provides. Having childcare that you are confident in and knowing that your baby is loved makes returning to work a little easier (smile).

Facing the need for childcare for the first time in 15 yrs was no small task. Understandably, things have changed from security, to video monitoring, healthy foods and increased accreditations to name a few. Countless centers were visited by my wife and she narrowed it down to three. Kicking the can down the road wasn’t an option as our little guy was coming. My initial thought when meeting the fine folks at AOPP while touring was, WOW. Each daycare has a hook about why they are the best, but AOPP, checked all of the boxes, but added an undeniable warmth towards the children. Autumn came and went and our little guy who started in Infant 1 is progressing through the different classes...we love it and wouldn’t change a thing.

Casey and her staff are awesome. My two year old has been going since he was 6 months old and I couldnt be happier with the school. He has learned so much and I know he is well taken care of.

Academy of Powell Place is fabulous. Ive been a fan of Academy Schools in Brentwood, TN for 8 years. We are started in Fall of 2007 with my daughter. My son started as an infant in Feb 2011. We transitioned to the Powell Place location when it opened in January 2015. The facilities at Powell Place are beautiful and practical. Everything from the Director, environment and curriculum have surpassed every expectation. Take a tour, you wont be disappointed.

We have had our daughter at Powell Place since their opening and have been so pleased with the staff, directors, facilities, and child curriculum. The cost is well worth what you receive at this location and we would recommend it to anyone in search of great child care in the Brentwood area!
