Ive wanted to learn to play guitar for many many years. I tried on my own with YouTube videos and even had a few lessons here and there, but I would always end up feeling overwhelmed and frustrated and ultimately would give up. During the pandemic, at age 50, I decided to give it another try when I heard about the Music Loft just a few miles from my home. I am sure glad that I did! The Music Loft is a comfortable, welcoming space and all the staff are incredibly friendly, helpful and responsive. Im taking lessons with Norwood, he is just so great! I never feel rushed or overwhelmed as he allows me to go at my own pace while still learning valuable techniques, chords and songs. He listens to my needs and where I am feeling challenged and takes his time to show me how to be a more successful guitar player. Ive only taken lessons for 6 months and have learned so much in just that short period of time that it keeps me motivated to learn more. I have just signed up for the fall classes to continue my learning experience and I could not be happier. I highly recommend the Music Loft to anyone wanting a casual yet knowledgeable approach to learning music. If I could give them 10 stars, I would.

Always a great and welcoming atmosphere and instructors. Teaching easy to learn techniques to improve your skills and teaches at a pace that works for you. Lessons are always broken down to where its easy to understand. Katie is my violin instructor and she always makes me feel good and confident about my progress. She super friendly, kind, and personable. Easy person to have a normal conversation with aswell. Definitely an awesome person.Thanks for being awesome,Ty
