I just loved it there. It challenged me and gave me the skills and confidence to have a rewarding teaching career. The facility is great, the faculty was wonderful and the student body is down to earth; good people and it became the foundation of the most important things in my life.It is always in my heart. In comparison to other colleges, I feel I got a better than Harvard Education for a very realistic tuition.

Horrible school, they FORCE you to pay a non refundable $200 deposit JUST to get your financial aid!! That is fraudulent! You are seriously just a number there, nothing else. If you call them, be prepared to be put on hold for at least 5-10 minutes. They also will jerk you around just to get your money, for instance they told me there was an IT program, when there wasnt! It was a computer science program, their response was its close enough no... it isnt close enough. Not to mention they charge you $200 to park and if you want to use their gym they charge you for that too! They are money grubbing leaches. Im so glad I didnt go there, it is truly a horrible school, some of the staff is nice, like the librarians, but most of the staff are rude, like during seminar I raised my hand for a question, and the lady REFUSED to help me, she literally just plain out right ignored me, as if I killed her dog or something. I got up and walked out.Ive been dealing with many schools trying to transfer from my 2 year college and all of them treated me like a human being, not this school though. I wouldnt recommend anyone go there, this school is WAAY over-rated.

My son graduated from there in 1992 when it was called Bridgewater College. He now works as a scientist at Tufts. He found a job right away. His son, (my grandson) will be graduating from there this spring and plans on going for his Masters Degree. They both received a wonderful education.

Great Place. I had a lot of fun attending Bridgewater State. You can learn plenty if you take classes seriously, or you can goof off and get by with a C average. Either way, there are a wide range of experiences available to be had @ BSU!!!

This is an update to a previous rating regarding graduate programs at Bridgewater. After spending more time here and attending more classes, I can only report a positive experience.Significant efforts have been made to offer additional classes since my last review and the criminal justice department has been excellent about expediting my progression as much as possible through the program as a working professional.I can not adequately emphasize the quality of some of my criminal justice professors. They genuinely are knowledgeable in their particular fields and I have greatly appreciated the wide range of information they have been able to offer to me over the course of my time here. They truly care about students and are some of the hardest working professors I have seen. While the facilities themselves are not ivy-league and database subscriptions may not be as numerous as other institutions; this place is an excellent value for the education you receive. Youll definitely work harder here and it will be challenging, but the sentiment that you earned the degree will make it worth the effort because you will have actually learned something along the way.

They say the education department is top notch here, save yourself the money and aggravation. I was in a five year program for special education severe, and not one person in my major ever got it done in less than six. Not for the lack of effort though. The advising is a joke. For education majors you are required to have two majors, and so many last minute changes kept us there. I only stayed because I was there for so long It wasnt worth the trouble of transferring. Not to mention parking for commuters. That was probably the worse of it. Most of the administration staff is rude, and the advisors really dont have a clue except for a few. SAVE YOUR MONEY! I think I would have spent less boarding at a school farther away….

Its a school that gives degrees for not that much compared to other prices of schools but if looking for quality learning then look somewhere else.
