I stayed in Boston for 3 weeks with EF and I really enjoyed the experience I met a lot of new friends. I was accommodated in the campus in a twin room and I was quite comfortable (the bathrooms are shared but theres plenty in every floor), the only problem with the campus is that its a bit far from downtown but you get used to it quickly and that lunch is not included on the price (my sales advisors didnt tell me). The campus staff and teachers were really nice, you could talk to them easily. Im giving 4 stars though because the main issue I found was with the english learning, my first week i got an amazing teacher, the classes where dynamic and I learned a lot of new things... But by the end of that week we took a test (because every 6 weeks everybody takes the progress test) and I leveled up and got another teacher for the following 2 weeks, and although I was in a higher level I felt like I didnt learn anything new. I think that the placement test is not very adequate because most of my friends were also misplaced.

Hi!! I am a student who stayed in EF Boston for almost a month in the summer of 2019. It was an amazing experience! Before going the assistance was good, they booked me everything and answered all the question I had. Then, when I arrived, the staff were so helpful and kind and the teachers too. The school was huge and awesome and there were people of different countries. The classes were ok, and they tried to make them consist of a variety of nations.There were lots of activities to do in the afternoons but if you preferred, you could go on your own. I had never been in Boston before and I really liked the city. In the weekends, you can pay to go on excursions to New York, Washington, or Niagara Falls.I really had a great time there and I met lots of people of many countries that now are good and close friends of mine. I really recommend this experience in campus of EF if you have the chance!!!

An amazing experience! all of the EF reps were amazing and so so helpful. The school was super fun and I enjoyed my classes in Paris very much! they plan well thought excursions and I enjoyed myself on every single one of them! 10/10 I would do it again!

Hi Im a student who stayed here for almost 3 month and now reviewing about the EF school.When i first arrived at here, everything was new for me like environment, food and people. But i did well because in EF, staffs are very friendly to us so that we can feel comfortable about talking with them and theyre doing their best to help us.Also EF school has many activities to join. Activities are changing every day every week and those thing are very nice to make new friends from various countries. So what i just want to say is EF school is perfect for me!!

I was at EF Boston for one month. Boston is a great city you have to visit and the campus is impressing. You will learn a lot, because the teachers are very good. The staff is friendly and helpful.If you live on campus, the bathrooms are not the cleanest Ive ever saw and in the showers there are a lot of dark hair which are definitely not mine. The cafeteria food is not that good, but also not that bad. The only thing I miss a lot is real good coffee.I would choose EF Boston every time. Im sad that I have to leave now.

I was a student almost one and half year ago and extremely enjoyed staying this place for nine months. To share this exciting experience, I encouraged one of my friend to stay EF Boston, emphasizing all the staffs and teachers are kind and passionate. When I was there, there were a bit more East Asian students(KR, JP, CN, TW) than those from other countries but they tried to make the classes consist of a variety of nation. They will help you become accustomed with many topics like New England customs and American cultures. Also, because they have TOEFL class, you could be exposed to many chance to improve the score needed for graduate or undergraduate school in the states. Thanks to this experience, I am preparing for GRE to apply graduate school in the US.Plus, it would be better if air conditioner is available for each dorm, not only classroom and public place. This is my first time traveling abroad, so EF is also my first travel agency. I am very satisfied with them because they always arrange some really good activities, their cafeteria is also really good and the most important thing is that their attitude is really awesome. They always have smiles on their faces and always solve our problems as soon as possible. Thanks to them, I can have a pleasant journey in Boston. And about my host family, they are friendly and talkative, but the dinner they prepare is not really good. Everyday is almost the same. When I was in Taiwan, I was really excited about life with an American family, so I was kind of disappointed in this point. But overall , I am really happy.

This is a nice place to learn English. You have some interesting courses and then some activities around the city. There are also some great trips. For example I did the Washington D.C trip. It was cool. We visited a lot of memorials. Of course it was too short (only 2 days) but it was long enough to take part in the life in the city.Back on the topic, all is not good, there are nevertheless negative points. The residence is too far downtown. If you want to go to downtown you have to plan on 1.5 hours of travelling. Its not too long but if you want to eat downtown its pretty long. Now the food: the food at the residence is really good. Moreover, it doesnt vary.To conclude, Ef Boston is a nice place with a good atmosphere and nice teachers. You will enjoy !!

I arrived about four weeks ago. It is a beautiful location and you only have to walk for about five minutes to get to Starbucks, CVS and other stores. EF Boston has a few places to hang out with friends for example a TV room. They offer a variety of activities. Staff members try to help you most of the time. The teachers give their best to teach you and put a lot of effort in their lessons. The food is good most of the time, but sometimes it tastes pretty bad. The accommodation is good. The beds are very comfortable but the day I arrived, the room had some dirty spots. In conclusion, I recommend you going to EF Boston to improve your English and to have an amazing experience.

EF Boston would be the best among the other EF campuses! The location is good and there are a lot of fancy bars around here. Teachers are so kind that they always listen to what I am worrying about in my English skill. In terms of qualities of teachers, and facilities of campus, I am very satisfied with the school! EF Boston is a great place to learn english. There are so many nice people here, the staff is very helpful and the teachers i have had so far are extremely qualified. The accommodations is okay for a student home. My room is absolutely beautiful, but i have seen terrible rooms so you have to have some luck. Sometimes the showers are a bit dirty, but overall the building seems to be pretty clean. The food in the cafeteria is not bad, but very boring because the choices rarely vary. I would very much recommend visiting Boston for a gap year or something similar because the experience is amazing.

I arrived in Boston on August 18th in 2016. That was my first time coming to a foreign country. I did travel to many places alone, but I still felt a little scared at that moment. Fortunately, I had a sister here who was studying at Northeast University. She sent me to the campus. Then my new education started in Boston.EF has many students from different countries and we communicate with them all the time. They are kind and helpful. You can learn more about their countries, cultures, their majors and favorite sports. Youre gonna have many friends here.Each of teachers here is unique. Chirs looks crazy, he is always energetic in class. Mike is a sophisticated teacher. He has been teaching students here for 5 years, his suggestions could help you fix any problem you encounter here. If you are a freshman who sometimes feels embarrassed to talk with someone, you could find Mike, then you gonna be more comfortable. Eduardo seems like the most strict teacher if you are a new student in his class. Hes always in the C level classes. There are some basic rules in his class. Like students are supposed to do their homework seriously, when you talk with your classmates you need look at their face. But when you stay with him longer, you gonna find his suggestions are really helpful for you, and he is not that old fashioned.EF is really busy in the summer. There are so many students in the summer vacation. The lecture hall is gonna be full of students at noon. If you wanna have a nap, here are some suggestions. If you live on campus, you can go back to your room, or you could go to Room 235, probably, there is no class there at noon.There are so many interesting things you have never observed or experienced in the past. So welcome to join us.

The campus is awesome and the neighborhood is secure and nice, but the personal at EF is bad, they never helps you even knowing you are an international student and you are alone, they only said ooh Im so sorry I hope you can fix your problems, nothing else. So if you lose classes by going to solve your problems, they will not care and you will continue with absences.And they send you to live in far sites, if you live in the campus the heather doesnt works and the food is terrible.

I had an amazing experience here in Boston ! Moments which will stay in my memory forever. Amazing opportunities to visit many different other places from Washington to Niagara Falls ! If I were you I wouldnt wait :)

EF Boston is located 30 min away from downtown and has a lot of students compared to the one in other cities, especially during summer a thousand of people came here and it was so messy. Living with host family is sometimes annoying, but I met the best roomie there. Teachers and staff motivate students so much, but it might be somehow boring to stay here more than half a year...

Ive been in EF Boston for almost six months. Its a really nice place to go and if you experience new things, you wont be disapointed. I chose to be in a host family and the best choice I could have done because its the best way to learn and make progress in English. But keep in mind that stay for a short period of time is far enough to improve your english.

If you want to really learn English, GO to Ef Boston, has excellent teachers, excellent field work. Is a good experience. :)

Ef Boston is a great place to learn english and discover the East Cost culture. I have been here for 4 month and i will definitely recommend this place to whoever want to live the american life. It would be better for you to come during spring or summer because the winter is tough. But if you are from south america (like the majority of the students here) its a great occasion to discover the snow. The campus isnt that good, the room and the food are even pretty bad, but the teachers are awesome and the ef team is always ready to help. The students come from all over the world and its THA place to learn about others culture and tradition.

One of the best experiences of my life, I met people from all over the world, I made very nice friends and both the facilities and the study methodology are very good. Perhaps the price is high for what it offers, but it is still a good option.

The language study trip to Boston with EF Sprachreisen was really worthwhile The care before and during the stay was very good and I was always able to get in touch with questions and problems, both with the staff on site and at my EF location in Germany In addition to the normal language teaching, there are also SPIN classes where you can meet your individual interests, such as: business writing, cultural analysis, literature, etc. Das Building itself was really nice and especially the lecture hall is impressive.Personally, I highly recommend the accommodation on campus, as it saves the sometimes long journey to school and you can also eat morning and evening in the cafeteria.The city center is also very accessible by bus / subway.But also the district Brighton, where EF Boston is located, is really great! There are numerous cafes, diners and bars (if you are 21;)). There is also a gym, a park and a small lake nearby.So if you fancy a great language trip where you meet new people, improve your language skills and explore a foreign country is EF in my opinion in the right place!
