Stepping Stone is an amazing dance studio! The staff is so wonderful, organized, caring, and professional. They make you feel like family. The teachers are amazing and really good with the students. Both of my daughters and my wife dance there. My youngest, who is 11, takes 10 classes per week! She has progressed and grown so much as a dancer and as a young lady thanks to Ms. Dana and her staff teaching them proper dance technique and etiquette. We practically live there and LOVE IT! We have been part of the SSDS family for about 7 years now and wouldnt think about going anywhere else!

This studio treats their children and parents like family! All the teachers are so wonderful and have such a love for dance, and care and respect their students like their own children.They have shown so much dedication to keeping our children safe during this pandemic and we are forever grateful!!

To say Stepping Stone Dance Studio is great is an understatement. Dana and her staff have always treated our girls with so much love and support. Always making sure they are happy, learning and growing at each class and most importantly they feel like the studio is their home away from home. The studio is always a happy, positive and safe place for our girls where they greatly enjoy going every week for the last 10 years.

Everyone here is so welcoming and friendly. Great family atmosphere. The instructors and owner not only teach dance, but respect and discipline. They focus on the whole child! I’m grateful my daughters are part of this special community.

My son is on his third year at Stepping Stone Dance Studio. All of the dance instructors are very professional... but ,also know how to have fun with the kids. There are many styles of dance classes to choose from. When you become part of this dance studio you are considered family. They are always encouraging your children to do the best and helps where there is improvement needed. Miss Nikki and Miss Melanie are very good at what they do. Theyve been dancing for many years. My child always looks forward to coming to dance class because of them. I highly recommend this dance studio. I consider me and my son a lifer for Stepping Stone Dance Studio.

I’m back to dance, as are my daughters and I just had to take a minute to send a shout out to Miss Dana and her staff. We feel safe, we are not concerned about Covid and we are so happy to be back! Miss Dana went above and beyond as usual to make sure that all of the proper precautions are being taken as her students are always her top priority! This is our seventh year and we couldn’t be happier!

I have worked in the office of SSDS since it’s opening in 2011. I have watched hundreds of families and dancers excel in all aspects of dance over those years. I don’t come from a dance family or dance background but because our staff is so knowledgeable I have learned so much about dance. I have watched countless families grow and bring their dancers back year after year. We have truly built a family in those walls ...a family who cares about each dancer no matter the age or skill. I wouldn’t want to be part of any other dance family around. We have such a special bond within the staff and students that couldn’t be compared anywhere or with anyone. During this entire pandemic the dancers and their safety have always been priority number 1. I highly recommend our dance studio.

Dana and her staff are amazing! I love that my kids can dance there without being in competitive dance. They have all levels and support all of their kids. They go out of their way to make each kid feel special and welcome.

My twins just turned 3 in the end of June. The girls were at another dance studio prior and because they were twins we had to separate them, by the third class they started to get in the routine and started to dance and wanting to learn.Long story short , we wanted to find somewhere closer and that we were familiar with , we have family that attends ssds. We got mixed up with days and attended the first class on Wednesday with ms. Sally , it didn’t go well because the twins were feeding off of one another , after removing Bella , Callie did well without her sister.Next Tuesday came along and we tried with miss Trina for both of the girls to be in class together , saw on zoom that one of the girls was not cooperating , so as a mother and respect for the class, I ... MYSELF removed Bella. The teacher wanted to boot both of them right then and there , so I told her to keep Callie and try Callie. Callie started listening for about 10-15 minutes , and then during an activity Callie started throwing her mask (which kids are not accustomed because we are in a pandemic )I received an email this morning stating that both teachers feel that they are not ready, and that it’s best if they do not attend.Unfortunately that does not sit well with me . The dance studio prior was very welcoming, was helpful, wanted to teach them, wanted to help them as much as possible and this studio didn’t even give the girls an opportunity to turn this around. They are twins , they are behind yes but I was hoping SSDS could be a good activity for them.How do you guys handle kids with special needs ? Please don’t go here if your child has any type of disability , they will not help you and not be there to support your child in wanting them to dance. They will give you the boot like they did for my children.It’s a shame , that even during a pandemic of being out of routine for sooooo long , that yes kids will be kids . Give the girls a poor fighting chance to actually want to learn.

This is our second year with Stepping Stones! My daughter took 1 combo class last year and 2 combo classes this year. Every staff member she has had is amazing! They not teach technique and push proper vocabulary, but all of the staff is super encouraging! My friend and I took adult classes in the summer and had sooo much fun! Instead of laughing at my crazy self trying to do various tap, jazz,, and ballet steps, they were super encouraging and made sure that I was able to do the steps learned at the class.In addition to being super professional, the owner Ms. Dana is super on top of things! We knew about recital days, costumes, and official dances 6 months beforehand! And even though shes never had my daughter for a class, she knows my daughter by name!They also offer the most amazing zumba classes! Ms. Nikki is amazing and super upbeat! Although we have been taking zoom classes, due to corona, the thing we miss most is hearing Ms. Nikkis super positive and encouraging words in person!And lastly, Ms Dana makes sure to keep things a reasonable price! You will always know costs ahead of time. We also love that for ages 3-8, kids are offered combo classes. My daughter has been able to learn ballet (which is essential for all classes) but also learn hip, jazz, and tap. The combo classes are the same cost as a 1 discipline class. Recital costumes are amazing quality and also reasonable too.You would be hard pressed to find a better studio!! You will get communication, vocabulary, technique, and a family feel from Stepping Stones! We are blessed to have find this amazing place!
