I spent 4 months at BLC and it was one of the best experiences in my life. I came here and have met so many great people. This school is great. The teachers are so kind and professional and friendly. I love them. Everything is amazing there. People who work there are always ready to help you. If you speak English or not I recommend you to go there. Thanks to everyone there. And thanks to the greatest teacher Kasia. She wasn’t just a teacher. She was like a sister As well.

It was an amazing moment. The classes were not so big so it was really easy for me to ask questions to teachers. And also there are a lot of activities that students can make friends who come from all over the world. Teachers were really cheerful and I really enjoyed learning English in this school for 6months.

In August 2019 I have taken only one week course at BLC, but it was amazing. The school is small, but it is the total advantage for students. All your teachers will try to know you, to speak with you. There were lots of additional activities after school activities all students are able to take part in - both educational and fun. It has a very friendly environment and the spirit of the people who teach there is extraordinary. I noticed a positive and considerable improvement in my language skills throughout my stay. BLC offers a wide range of English lessons, from beginners to intensive courses. The lessons were very well structured and the staff always very friendly, responsive and helpful. The learning in the school was supplemented by homework. So there was no time for boredom. Bristol is a very beautiful city and offers many interesting sights. The people there are very hospitable and helpful. We met many new friends and really enjoyed the time there. Thank you very much for everything :-))

BLC is a really great school to improve your English. It doesn’t matter on which level you are. They offer you several courses from basic to advanced.The teachers are all very capable and extremely helpful, they put a lot of effort in their lessons to give you a variety of education. The school has also a strong community spirit and you’ll feel included from day one.All in all if you want to enhance your English, BLC is a brilliant place to achieve that.

Two years ago I started my preparation with a very low level of English and today, thanks to the BLC, I’m able to deal with international people, included my friends all around the world I met at the School. That’s why I have decided to start an international career. For this reason I must rate BLC with five stars!

Teachers were try to be funny but the way they teach us was so boring and they cannot answer some student questions !Also they don’t know how to explain the grammar more professional .Moreover school administration was not honest enough to run this school ? Imagine they put more than two students from same nationality in one family and they took long time to separate them to different families, what only they care about is money more than quality !I won’t recommend this school for any one whom I know 👎🏼

Hi worked here for 3 month as an intern. I was looking for something new as a job and BLC gave me the opportunity to learn new skills. It helped me to improve my English as well. This is A very good place to work. The people are lovely. I will miss my time spent to BLC for sure.THANK YOU! :)

The building has a lot of facilities, everything seems new there. Most of the crew are great professionals and the person who faces up to the social program is very friendly and funny.The only drawback I can say is that from my point of view, they dont manage well the classroom distribution according to the level/progression of the students.

BLC is a very professional language school where you have the opportunity to improve your general english skills or to prepare for an international exam. The lessons were very well structured and the teachers were always very helpful. I really appreciated how the teachers organised the class with different ways to learn the subject, it never got boring. I enjoyed as well the friendly and easygoing atmosphere at school.

I had the opportunity to be in this school not only as a Student, but also as Intern, and for both I can confirm the high quality of the whole staff. Really suggested both if one wants to improve merely his English and if one wants to experience a very good time abroad in a wonderful location!

He has not got experience and made us do exercises that has not links between them. Lot of games and quizz like in girls magazines. Spent 15 minutes thinking what we are going to do. End of the week assessment was nothing about what we studied.Visits:Visits were interesting.Host families:(under 18 years old)You can have chance like me who had a very good family but my friend had a woman who did not care about her, did not do a lunch for her, let her alone in the house, let her eat alone while she is on her phone and did not talk to her. By the way, the school did not know that this woman had 3 housemate!!!!!!!The school should ask us to make a report on the families.

I want to say thanks to BLC school for thier work! I did an FCE exam a month ago. Recently, I received my results. And I pass it very well! I am so happy with these results. Thank them alot! BLC courses really helped me!

I really enjoyed my two weeks of classes at BLC. The teachers are dynamic, the classes are alive and they are spreading a crazy energy so that the students improve their English. The Bristol Language Centre is one of the best language school Ive been in my life, I learnt english there 2 years ago, and in 3 months Ive improved so much my english !!! Now, I am doing an internship here, and its going very well. All the staff is welcoming, nice, funny, and ready to help you if you have any problem. Thank you very much BLC.

Student: 12 weeks at BLC. If you would like to throw your money away, that is the place. Highly not recommended.

In September 2011 I spent 4 weeks at the Bristol Language Centre, taking an intensive course. The school is pretty good located at the center. The rooms are normally quite small, but its okay. The teaching quality also differs from teacher to teacher, but in general they are quite friendly and open to help you.Unfortunately we (me + gf) had serious trouble with our accommodation. When we arrived on Sunday at the king square studios, we were told, that they didnt have any records of us, so we had to spend the first night at the hotel. The next day we spoke to the accommodation officer of the Bristol Language Center. She told us there was a misunderstanding and arranged finally a room and the hotel expenses were refunded. Actually that wasnt the way we wanted to start in Bristol, but mistakes can happen. So get over it and look at the bright sight.Although we booked in advance a double room, we just recieved a single room. Despite we were told, that the normal/standard stuff you need for cleaning, washing, cooking or sleeping would be there, it wasnt there at the beginning. Everything seemed quite improvised. After complaining again to the accommodation officer of the BLC about the room situation. We were told that the room we have they regarded as double room, which was quite ridiculous since in the King square studios there were real double studios. We even were told, that because England is a island, theres not much place, so we should get used to the small size of the room. We asked the accommodation officer to organize a bigger room and in the mean time for example a second chair or a larger blanked for the bed. But she wasnt really interested to help us. It took her 3 weeks to organize a second chair. We never got a larger room nor a larger blanked for the rest of our visit in Bristol.Some mates from the Bristol language center also told us weird stories about their accommodation. As far as I can tell the school lacks a professional administration. Although you pay a lot of money in advance, they dont treat you really as a customer. I absolutely understand that mistakes can happen. But not three in a row.

My 2 daughters have gone through this center and it has been in both cases a great experience. The course was organized individually, outside the large and established groups, although obviously in the center there were also Spaniards, the fact of organizing the trip made them easier to relate with angles with boys and girls from other countries. If there is a problem in the organization or the host family it is very easy to contact them

Good school to learn English with its excellent teachers. Perfect for a stay, it does not matter if you do not know anyone because you quickly make friends because BLC organizes social activities every week. Highly recommended!

A very good language school with very dedicated teachers! Basically, the pace of learning is determined by yourself. The teachers promote one individually and explain comprehensibly when inquiring. However, it is best to look after your accommodation yourself in advance.
