Good school and very friendly staff.

I graduated from the school in 2015 and I must say if youre apart of the basketball football or baseball programs this is a great School but when it comes to everything else academics Arts and just a well-rounded school this place is horrible. The building itself is extremely old and uncared-for so the heating / air does not work half the time the ceiling is caving in the building just looks like its falling apart. There are only two art teachers for school of over 3,000 kids and they are not taken seriously.

Few teachers actually care about their students here, and the guidance counselors are the same. Zero Tolerance is a lie as well. Make sure to keep your kids on track for graduation and not let them just pick shop every year or they wont be eligible for a diploma, but you wont hear that from the school until its too late.

This school used to let kids graduate early if they had all the requirements needed but they took it away based on a PARENT vote. So don’t send your kids hear if you want their voices to be heard.
