I was so excited to come here for college to ride and learn so much about horses, the industry and my riding. In every single one of my lessons, I had little feedback on my riding and most of it was trotting in circles around the arena. The only criticism they really gave me was fixing my back, and I did in like two lessons, but was never pushed or moved forward in my riding for the rest of the semester. I don’t know if I did something or it was a lack of feedback, but I wish I knew. I was bored out of my mind. It was probably the most heartbreaking experience with my riding, since they boast about their great programs, instructors, etc., and I was hoping to finally get somewhere in my riding, but it really wasn’t for me. I just simply didn’t enjoy myself there. I guess their program works for some people, but not me. I’m better off riding at a private barn.
The coaches, horses and entire program have taught me so much in the past 4 years. They really prepare their students for the horse industry and allow us to make so many amazing connections all over the country.
Great horses and instructors. You make friends and connections that will last your lifetime, from beginners to advanced riders there is always a spot for you here.
Ive been a part of this team for four years now, and I love everything about it! Ive learned so much, and the coaches are super knowledgeable.
