Campus is beautiful. Great for walks in the evenings and mornings. There are roads, trails, streams, and a pond. Deer sightings are common.

I do not know where to begin with this college. I have had issues with them since I showed INTEREST in enrolling. They told me all the wrong deadlines, and their communication was so poor. They tried to get me to take classes I already had taken, set up my path to take way longer than it should have, and now, I am on my last class. Yes, my last class before receiving my Bachelors. And I logged on to my school and it was gone. I questioned their technicians about only to hear that I had been withdrawn for no apparent reason. Yes, I will argue my way into getting them to put my classes back up, but really???? This is just getting annoying... and I would not suggest this college to anyone who wants to graduate without the stress of having to make your own schedule and fight the registrars office all the time.

Studied in different countries but this was the worst experience I ever had. As a PG student if you have problems with any professors you will have no-one to turn to. Your cries for help will be ignored. If I did not know my savior personally I would have left the Christian faith. In my experience this is a CINO (Christian in name only) college. Go to a public university especially if you are an individual of color.

Miserable in a dead end job, I needed hope. With 2 years of college credit but no degree, potential job employers eliminate my resume immediately. I found hope in King University. Enrolling in the online Communication program is the best decision I have made in years. All of my previous college credit transferred into King’s program. I did not lose a single credit which is unheard of when transferring schools.Tuition costs are competitive and affordable. The online format is convenient and works well with my demanding job. The professors are first-rate educators, and the work is challenging as well as rewarding. In addition, King’s academic accreditation is sound and highly respected. Going back to school at 50 years old was very frightening to me; however, King University’s professors and support staff has made this transition in my life a wonderful experience. I now have hope for my future, and if you choose King University, you will too.

King University offers a positive online learning experience for adult learners. Students that partake in King’s completely online communication program become accustomed to caring professors, meeting deadlines, and acquiring personal growth that will benefit them in their future endeavors. At most universities you are nothing more than a number, but King University is different. My professors acknowledge my wellbeing not only on an academic level, but also on a personal level. If my grades do not display my usual efforts, then my professors take the time to ask if I need a further explanation of the material. Overall, my professors have greatly contributed to my positive experience at King University.King’s online COMM program displays the entire course schedule the first day of class. This benefits nontraditional students, like myself, because this allows us to plan my homework around our busy schedules. In the communication program, students will become accustomed to personal growth. The learning material can easily be applied to students’ personal and professional lives.I encourage all students to apply to King University. College is far too expensive to be a number.

My experience with King’s Communication (COMM) program has been life-changing in the best way. COMM is a versatile degree preparing students for various interpersonal careers. King’s flexible class schedule allowed me to work a full-time job while pursuing my degree. Instructors at King assisted with my growth in writing, leadership, and interpersonal skills. I am prepared and eager to use skills I learned over the course of my time at King. Classes in the COMM program have been tailored to fit my needs to obtain a job after graduation. I found each class engaging, functional, and challenging to my personal and professional life. One-on-one instruction received at King is what I admire about the COMM program because I felt valued and cared for as a student. Relationships were built among classmates, and these relationships will last because we became friends throughout the COMM program. I am deeply appreciative COMM instructors helped to strengthen my faith, build confidence in my writing, and integrate new perspectives into the way I view our society.

I am thrilled that I discovered King Universitys online communication program! King University offers affordable degrees, not only in business, but also in more specific programs, such as communication. I am a busy professional already working in the communication field; a flexible, accelerated learning program like King Universitys is a perfect fit. King University transferred nearly all the credits from my former college tenure towards my degree. A communication degree from this accredited college will further advance my occupational opportunity for growth. The admission staff at King University was very helpful in guiding me through the transfer process. I was even assigned a personal success coach to ensure I am on the right track. Through the quality professors at King University, I have gained knowledge applicable to the every day workings of the communication field and have been able to apply them professionally. I highly recommend King Universitys online communication degree program.

Unlike other people I also applied for admission to the Information Technology program during spring semester of 2016, but I had a very good experience with the admissions, registrar, and financial aid offices. They were very diligent in returning emails and notifying me on the steps I needed to take to get admitted before the class registration deadline. Due to my circumstances I was put on a conditional acceptance for my first semester at King. This was due to my grades from previous college years were nothing to be desired. Even though my admission was conditional ( which I am doing very good and looking forward to summer classes) I would not have been admitted if it wasnt for the staff at King University who worked with me to help forward my education.

King University is easily the best option for a nontraditional adult undergraduate degree in Communication studies. I have been in the Communication program at the Knoxville campus of King University for nearly a year now and have enjoyed the entire program. I will graduate with my Bachelors Degree in August after a short 16 months of studying. While I cant speak for the other programs at the school, the Communication program has completely exceeded my expectations. I used to attend the University of Tennessee in the same program, but was very disappointed in the quality level of the education I was receiving. After transferring to King University, I must say I am very pleased with the transition I decided on. If you are looking for a one night a week (or even no nights a week with the online program) course load this is the perfect place for you. You are required to have a certain number of credits before you can be accepted into the program, but you can get your Associates Degree from Pellissippi right across the street and transfer straight into the program and be done with your four year degree in less than four years! The best part of it all is that the school is completely and totally accredited. This is big for me because I plan to continue my education after graduating. I recommend this college and specifically this program to anyone interested in not having to go to class five days a week like a traditional student. You will get a quality education and learn ways to specifically apply your education to the workplace.

If you are any faith except what passes for a far Right Christian, be prepared to be inundated with religious dogma at every opportunity. Want to learn about history? Literature? Go elsewhere unless you are someone who wanted to go to Liberty University or other overly religious school, but didnt make the cut. They slip in the United States was founded by and for Christians dogma at every turn.As someone who had to deal with christian-cult family members making everyones life miserable with their backwards, bigoted nonsense, had I understood this, I would have gone elsewhere. I plan on doing my grad work elsewhere after I survive the zealots who teach here and their daily assault on reason and facts.

If I could give it half star I would. Most staff here dont do their job like they supposed too, only a very few. They always leave everything until the last minute, and do not seem to care about the students. For example my fiancé was not registered for class until two days before class. Then he called the VA representative to certify him, and she said it was already done. After talking to the VA directly that turned out to be a lie. He wasnt certified until he called her again the day classes started. Of course with how back logged the VA is this is a problem. Then a class change had to be made due to credits that were finally transferred from Walter state, and his support specialist dropped the old class and when on vacation before adding the new class. This made him a part time student which cause his financial aid to be witheld, and he ended up paying for class out of pocket. My fiancé is a veteran paying for school out of pocket because of the sheer laziness of the king staff. No issues like this ever arose while at Walter state, and thats sad that a community college far outshines a university. Never attend King especially if you are a military service member!

I believe King used to be respected and known for quality education but—as with most places—profit seems to be the only goal now. I assume the traditional undergraduate classes are fine, on par with other schools in the area. But King’s 16 month accelerated degree programs are a complete joke. When I applied and was accepted to the bachelor of information technology program a few years ago, nowhere during any part of the application process or any reading I did about the school did it tell me the program was designed for individuals already working in the field who need a degree for management positions. Maybe things have changed, but back then the 16 month programs were marketed toward anyone who had already completed 60 credit hours and just needed the convenience of one night a week classes. Since you are done in only 16 months, I assumed the program would be much more demanding than my classes at Northeast State or ETSU. I assumed the quality would be fairly equal to traditional undergrad, the only real difference being that the program was created for those not fresh out of high school. I was wrong. It wasn’t anywhere close in quality to my classes at previous colleges and it wasn’t at all demanding. It was PowerPoints being read to us and open note tests. It was our classes being held in an open computer lab which meant other students could come and go and talk during our classes. It was being assigned a final portfolio in October that was due in December. A portfolio we were supposed to have been working on the whole duration of the program. Why weren’t we told earlier about this project? “The director of the program forgot.” When I applied, in addition to having an associate’s degree or 60 college credit hours, you had to write a 2-3 page essay about your career goals and what you hoped to gain from the program. I see the school has now given up the charade of being somewhat selective by having applicants submit an essay; they don’t care about your career goals as long as you have the money to purchase a degree. Hopefully the school has changed the marketing and advising to inform potential applicants about the value—or lack of value—of these accelerated programs. As for me and others I know who have done the BBA and MBA programs, we believe King to be a degree mill. It may be accredited but it is a degree mill nonetheless. If you are interested in an accelerated program at King, take note: you are paying for a diploma, not an education. If you actually want to learn something I highly advise you to go elsewhere. I would have withdrew from the school when I truly realized what a sham it was if I hadnt been almost halfway done. Im also not a fan of quitting. In hindsight, I should have been a quitter when it came to King. I only hope others can learn from my mistake.

I looked into King University for their Cyber Security degree and submitted an application and requested transcripts. I did not realize when I applied how unhelpful and disrespectful the staff is, specifically Olivia Leas and Rebecca Nesbitt in the admissions office. Olivia Leas outright lied to me about requirements and Rebecca Nesbitt was intent on making the process as difficult as possible to get enrolled by the January start date. I ended up withdrawing my application and locating the President of the Universitys email address so I could tell him what I think about his lackadaisical staff. The only quality person working at King is David Ferriss, who was very helpful.
