School good, and staff and teachers nice. But Residences, they need to improve. No security cameras, my son eloped twice from the window, some one saw him out side bleeding because he got cut trying to get out. They call the police and the ambulance. If you have very aggressive kid and elope very often, this is not the place!

My son Ty has been attending the May School for brain injuries and related disorders this July will be his 7th year . He started at the school when he was 6 years old..he has many challenges and medical issues and I cannot put into words how thankful my family is for finding the May School! Ty is non verbal and legally deaf and blind so it is extremely important that we can trust and feel that he is safe and well taken care of. The teachers staff and administrators go above and beyond for Ty and our family ..we have 4 children who all have different challenges and believe me i am extremely involved and invested in my children’s education and care and explored many schools prior to the May School and ..we are located close to the May and Ty travels to get there but it is definitely worth the travel and ..I am so thankful for everything the May has done to help make his life and education a success.

Our son came here for the last 3 years of schoolWe wished we knew about it earlier. A terrific, homey place where they actually care about our kids. My son excelled while he was here.I wished he could have stayed in the adult portion because some how MA has it over NY!I think it’s because they know these kids are our little or big humans and they matter.I wished everyone with a special need couple experience a place like this.Truly embracing a child or young adults strengths and not punishing them for who they are.A true, special place to be. We are forever grateful to The May Center for Brain Injury.
