I attended and graduated from this school. Unfortunately my experience wasnt good and I would NOT recommend it to anyone. Teachers are very hit and miss; you may get one that wants to teach you and challenge you, then you may get one that puts little effort and gives you As for just completing assignments/showing up.I never had good experiences with the staff: the counselors were never in sync and I could never go talk to the same person. They obviously have more students than they care to keep track of. The financial aid department is focused on just helping you GET the loans but they definitely stop caring when it comes time to helping you figure out the repayment process. Going through that was extremely stressful and I felt very abandoned by my school after graduation (Thanks for your money now leave please!)The careers department harasses you after you graduate by sending letters and calling your current employer with questions about you and how your education has benefited them. The only good thing I could really find was the convenience in locations and times that classes are available; as a full-time worker and student this was crucial for completing my education. This is probably why they can sell their very expensive tuition charges.Bottom line: Try finding a public school that works for you. Private schools are great at recruiting and make every effort to get you in and start paying, but thats the most attention you will get.Update: If you are still considering going here, take the time to Google their most recent legal issues and all the students (like myself) who feel scammed by this school.

Went one semester to be told by a rep in the office that the IT program would only be available in St Cloud. This wasnt true but didnt get a second opinion since the place seemed awful. Went to Brown and received a degree but they werent better. Rule of thumb, if a place advertises the hell out of themselves, stay away. This was on 2006. I still worked my way up to an awesome job with awesome pay. No help from $60k schools.

The Brooklyn Center Campus stands alone. This school and campus are on the for front of education and the newest styles of education that are making there way through the pipeline. MSB-BC has Enacted A.V.I.D. and will be adding collaborative learning groups for the upcoming quarters. If you are a high school student and you are looking for an education that will put you a step ahead of the rest and have instructors that know who you are and care about your needs and understand that everyone has a life outside of school. Globe/MSB is your school. Just keep in mind Minnesota School of Business Brooklyn Center is the top of the food chain.

I graduated from the Minnesota School of Business and I absolutely regret getting my education there. If you have a job, they will not work with you period. The instructors are teaching out of a book and you can tell they really dont know what they are talking about. I did A+ work on all my assignments, but because I have a job and couldnt get to class on time 100% of the time, I was docked 90% of my profesionalism points.... I felt like the school DID NOT want me to graduate... I am mostly speaking of the Career Services department at the Brooklyn Center Campus. If I could have transfered, I would have a long time ago. The cost per credit is astronomical! Dont make the same mistake I did... Go somewhere else
