I heard this place was awesome. I have some cousins attending it. Though have concern about privacy issues. I wonder if they ever changed it. Few years ago toured the place, went to the office, had to use the restroom and noticed the security camera is aimed directly at the restroom. Staffs apparently monitor you through security at the desk. I knew this because the monitor was on. That was the only thing on. Disturbing. While there are already multiple of security camera at the office entrance. When we left we instantly changed our minds attending this school.

Noble sucked.if you joined around 6-8th grade you cant even learn hmong because of the way they teach. So some hmong kids who didnt know how to speak hmong were so confused. school lunch costed money AND they were bad, I have many more to say but tldr if you think about bringing your kids to learn hmong or to learn in general: dont.when I graduated Noble academy (during the pandemic) ALL of the 8th grade teachers left the school, because they all know it was poorly done. Also they did a little poll on if they should add 9th grade, everybody said no but they still added 9th grade. So please just drop them to a highschool when they complete 8th grade.

Noble has some issues that they need to work on. Not too fond of PTB Services that the school has selected for bus transportation this year. Some days the driver never shows up to pick my kids up, but overall the value in education my 2nd graders get in school is pretty decent. Cant complain.

As a student that went to this school i loved the experience. To me this school was like a home to me. I loved everyone there. The teachers were amazing. The reason why i love this school so much is because of the teachers. The teachers are all so sweet and amazing in there own way. Noble Academy helped me gain confidance and helped me find real friends that i could count on. Noble Academy made me raise my voice and helped me do what i really love to do.

Noble Academy is a good school. I recently visited and spend the whole day at the school. It did not take long for me to fell in love with the students due to their decision to show respect and their genuine desire to learn. The school also has caring teachers who want to get better as educators and administrators who works hard to advocate for the students and their future at Noble and beyond. I look forward to hearing great things about this little school in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota.

If you are looking for a school that sucks the souls out of your kids then this is the school for you! In my experiences there is lots of cursing, kids cutting themselves because of the school, overwhelming amounts of homework and unnecessary amounts of extra work, and from what Ive seen there is only ONE teacher dedicated to her job and makes kids very happy. Besides her the school is described as a prison! Kids shouldnt be over worked and pushed to a point of suicidal thoughts. Noble is where I developed depression and anxiety and still take therapy. I wouldnt recommend it to anyone wanting their kids to grow up happy and healthy.

Noble Academy by far is a great school! Everyone is friendly, professional and courteous. The teachers are great and listens to us as parents. The curriculum is also great! I would encourage the school to challenge the students more academically.

I like how they try their best teaching us students things like math and reading, but I dont really get how they accept different races in Noble and teach only Hmong to students who are different from Hmong race, because dont some parents pay for their kid just for some education, to get smarter instead of learning just Hmong? I mean, this school might need more of a fix. I also dont like the response of suicidal occurrence happening. My sisters have been complaining about a lot of cruelty, hate, and stress because too much of the homework that was given to them and their friends. Now theres so much hate in this school, many students and sisters claim they need to get outta Noble Academy with a new school for themselves to be in. I feel bad for all those who are having to go in stress.

Not very fond of the Busline that they have. Buses are always late and they cannot even do a request simply as picking up your child from their home. It’s ridiculous. I’ll blame them if my kid goes missing one day.

Do not allow your children here. Like other reviewers said, all they cared about is test scores and enrollment numbers to get money and pass the state minimum test scores. Neal is the superintendent but he doesn’t make any decisions. All decision rest with Mai Chang.

I did liked the school before they built the new school. Before they build the new school, it’s see like they teach better and seems to care about the children’s educations more but now everything is so lacking... Seem like all they really care now is just getting money in their pockets. My kids come home all the time complaining of how disgusting the school lunch was, that they sometimes feel sick after eating it. The school lunch is almost mostly cold instead of being warm and also the school gave them very little portion size of food. My kids are not big eaters but they come home and always complains that they’re still hungry after they finished their lunch due to the portion size the school gave them... The teachers is either a hit or a miss. There’re some wonderful teachers who are ready to teach your kids but there’s also the one that just came for the heck of it, sitting at their desk ordering stuffs only without teaching the kid...I don’t recommend this school at all!

The director (Neal) is RUDE as anyone can be. I had a bus issue and instead of trying to resolve the bus issue, he told me that the school dont owe us anything and dont need to provide us with any transportation. Not very professional. The administration is not about the kids but more for themselves and their salary. Tsis xav rhuav Hmoob Lub qe tsw lwj xwb os.

My husband and myself went in to meet for parent orientation. The front desk was amazing and they had a gentleman at the front door. He looked like the was watching for kids at the door, which I appricate. However, I have to be real honest. I felt like the superintendent and the other women in charge didnt really want us at the school. They were polite but they refered us to other schools. They told us that hmong wasnt a language that most kids needed to learn in the world today. Our kid is a prek and they dont even teach Hmong to them until next year. They told us that MCAs had just been completed and they were among the highest test scores. The other two schools they refered us to were African American and friends of ours already. They said they were their biggest competition. I found out on line it wasnt the case. It seemed to me that every concern we expressed they found a reason why it didnt fit for the school. They also told us they didnt want to deal with any students or parents that had an issue with learning Hmong. Why made it real clear that they didnt focus on any other culture or any thing else besides education. My husband said to me, its only business, dont take it personal. The upside is the uniforms, all day prek for free, small classes with the prek own bathroom. Its been a little hard finding black uniform pants. I just went to Amazon. The ONLY reason we are giving it a try is because as we walked out we saw a mom with 2 kids. I asked her if she felt she was pushed away and she said yes. However, she has been with them for a few years and it has really been a blessing to her kids. She said they do well and make friends. She said they have cultural issues from time to time with the other kids but its been easy to resolve. They have us a week to think about it and the names of 4 other schools in the area. Not good business in my eyes but I am willing to try it. I have to buy almost all school supplies for a 4yr old and classroom materials. Will update you later.

I took my kids out of public school and gave Noble 2 years before I pulled them out. I pulled them out for many reasons but the main ones will be discussed.First -- the education was mediocre and below public school standards imo. The homework was not challenging enough and the Hmong classes (which we were really sending them there for) was held like once a month and poorly taught. A charter school should have better programs that challenge kids more -- that is the reason it is a charter school and not public.Second, the school seems to operate on a minimalistic nature. The lunches are like wholesale microwave food. There is no swimming pool. There are no clubs or enrichment activities/classes. And the bussing was late often. I hear this from many other parents also.Another reason I pulled them out -- I could never get ahold of Superintendent Thao. He would never respond to emails and when I called he could never be reached. The community helped build the school and like some Hmong organizations, the leadership seem to no longer care once they got their role and money. I got responses from the deputy superintendent but never Neil Thao.So far I am not impressed with Hmong lead charter schools. I feel they get their way with your support and money, then they no longer need you. We were actually told, you dont have to come here instead opening discussions for improvements. If you want a school that spends as little as possible on your kids, this school is for you. I wanted to address this with the school board of directors but I would be wasting my time because its their school not ours.

We do not have Hmong people. You see, you cant do it, you hate it, you laugh, but you cant do it. As a consequence, the Hmong have no place to live. Shame on you!I have two children and they both graduated from Noble and are very successful in college right now. Both are also fluent in English because of Noble. As a community, we must celebrate when one of our own is successful in helping the community. Mr. Thao puts his heart and soul into creating this school for OUR children. His school is one of the BEST schools that serves English students in the state. We must love and encourage one another. Yes, those who do not love Hmong culture. Start today!

Noble is an exceptional charter school! One of the best run and well-organized Ive ever enrolled my kids into. I cant say enough great things about the school! The teachers and school leaders are friendly, dependable and humble! Their events are always well-executed. Academic programs are the best. Students are given high expectations, just what I need for my kids. They are taught not only to strive for the best academic outcomes, but to care for one another, to be in the best behavior and to be socially responsible. We must continue to do what is right and true in each case. I could see with my eyes that the leaders of this school were so sweaty and so much effort and so much work. I have been a parent of 4 children at Noble since Kindergarten. Noble supports my students better than any other school district. Teachers who love and care about teach my children.
