PLEASE READ!I wish there were words to describe how DISGUSTING this school is. I wish that I can hug all of those students that went through torture, from the ADMIN, the professors and everyone else working for this “school”. Every student comes into the healthcare field KNOWING that it is difficult. Knowing that we have to put in a lot of work! However, this school will literally set you up for FAILURE. First, it cost 30k for an LPN program????? Secondly, they want you to retake classes over and over and over again to get more money. Ms Brown, sets some classes and students up for failure simply if she’s having a good day or not... so please don’t get on her bad side. They read from slides.. and pretty much that’s it. Yes, I am aware that studying is a major part of any nursing school/program. Ms Brown, is the definition is DISGUSTING... she never motivates, she says to us “uno not ready”, she tells us that she doesn’t know things but expects students to be masters at it. She lacks empathy, and simply is not a good “program director”. There’s only ONE professor that has been worth every dime... professor Modeste! She takes her time.. she helps the students... she wants to see them WIN and become successful. Other than that ALL of those professors are there for one thing.. the check. Please future nurses... there are better options then this school. I’m not just saying this. I’ve had classmates ready to kill themselves over this school. Please do your research and BELIEVE the reviews. Take your time and invest your money where it should be. ALSO, the school that thousands of students pay THOUSANDS of dollars to attend is now across the street from the PROJECTS. I can’t make this up.LASTLY, Yes there are students who graduate from this program.. simply because they cheated. Trust me I know. Be blessed

So...I started this school in 2019, Nursing has always been my passion. When i went to take the entrance exam. I just knew this was the school for me. Everything about this school said YESSSSS!!!!!I was 10000000000000000000% WRONG. To make my long experience short at AMG. Ill say the school is TOTALLY out to get your money. Ms. Brown being by far with no empathy for her students. She does not advocate for her students, no let me rephrase she advocated by saying that we are cheaters. They set their exams for you to fail so you can repeat these classes. I had 3 amazing professors and it was Mel and Ms. Modeste, and Lukmon. I would never forget when it was time for exit and this lady (Brown) did something I wont eve say to one of my classmates that made tears come to my eyes. When she found out my class passed the medsurg exam she talked down on us and told us she knew we cheated and she will fail each and everyone of us accordingly. She even doubted that we would pass our NCLEX on the 1st try. A few of us passed our NCLEX on the 1st try and guess what we made her look good. This review is mainly about you Brown...change your ways start advocating for your students and your school would run much more smoothly. You are a very very unfair old lady and I do believe its time you retire and take that hate somewhere else....so on that note people save your money and dont go to AMG...She even has the President of the school brainwashed with all of her foolish ways of thinking.......Brown mi dislike yuhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!

Nursing school is hard. No if ..buts.. or maybe. However I passed my NCLEX on The first try glory to God !!!During nursing school I was homeless, experienced death in my family , and so much more... God made a way... and with Gods help I never gave up. If I can do it you can too! That being said, I’m looking on returning to AMG for the LPN- RN bridge. This school extremely prepared me for my NCLEX. They will prepare you to pass on your first try.Like I said nursing school is hard. I give all my praise to the MOST HIGH, God.

One of the worse nursing schools! Starting off they said the course was remote then a week later we were told we have to go in every week almost to take final exams! The worse! The director of the school N. Brown is so rude and nasty I’m not sure why she’s leading a learning institution. I’m sorry I wasted my time and more than anything my money in this school!! Only a few months in and I had to leave because the unprofessional service and lack of courtesy from the director and admin. I would NOT recommend.

Great professors hates the school. They do things last minute. Program director very unprofessional. Dont waste your money going to this school. All I went through was stress stress and more stress. They make us do capstone which entails med surg, maternity/peds, psychiatric, pharmacology. It was hell on earth to pass med surg. They gave you 5 chances. At that point I went through a state of depression cause I was very fearful that I would fail. Miss brown (program director) talk down on us badly (because we couldnt pass the med surg exam) instead of encouraging us. Never in a lifetime attend this school!!!!

I literally just finished the financial aid application, called the school to set up my admissions exam and let me tell you.... who ever the director is, he has been there for a little too long and you can tell this is the only position of authority hes ever had. He attempted to give me information that no one else gave me but it was the delivery, and when I reciprocated his energy it became a I dont need to get all worked up situation SIR CONSIDERING THE TUITION COSTS I AM GONNA GET WORKED UP FOR YOU TALKING TO ME LIKE I ATTENDED YOUR SCHOOL BEFORE! It is a difficult program because it is an accelerated program but if you have the determination as I stated before, this school is amazing! The teachers are great and so is the staff.

The Board of Education needs to visit this college. When you have three instructors doing the same task and theyre all doing it differently; theres a problem. When asked the proper way with no response; theres a problem. When the staff are difficult to approach; theres a problem. When an instructor states she doesnt give a F whos not present during the review of a test. Whips out her phone instructs the students to figure out the answers for themselves; again we have a problem. People go to a real colleges. These mom and pop school are out to stress you. IF you graduate youll be an angry burnt out nurse because thats how you were instructed.

So I took the entrance exam for this school and let me tell you they are ridiculous because the entrance exam is composed of reading , math and critical thinking .... Critical thinking is for RN .. So being that this is a PN program that is unfair to do the critical thinking you at least had to be a LPN ALREADY.. Then they tell you oh there is nothing you can study for the critical thinking like what the hell every test has material to study from .. Do yourself a favor and don’t go to this school. This school has a large dropout rate for a reason. For a privately funded school, i would think the faculty would have treated their students better. With the exception of Dr E, who really does care for the students, Be prepared for rude and nasty professors especially the nursing director ms. brown. This school is all about the money. You will pay 30,000 for a lpn program only to get treated like scum. There has been even some professors and staff who have quit due to the disorganization, I’m glad i left when i did. Wont be surprised when this school gets shut down. I am now in a entry level bachelors program for non nurses (helene fuld) where you get your bachelors degree in nursing in 28 months and become a registered nurse. No nursing program is easy, but Its ironic that I am in a Rn program and not even half as stressed as i was being there at Amg lpn program. The year i spent at amg was probably one of the most stressful years of my life. You will get taught by angry burn out nurses who eat their young because they are miserable. I’m in a rn program now and excelling beyond even my expectations because I’m being taught properly by staff who care . If being a RN is your goal, don’t waste your time becoming a lpn, especially not here at this school. You will regret it.

It is an EXTREMELY challenging and rigorous program BUT..... if you follow the process lol words spoken by Dr.G you MOST DEFINITELY WILL SUCCEED. This has probably been the most hardest year Ive ever had to endure but with hard work, determination and pray I made it through. I recently took the NCLEX exam and passed on my first attempt with the computer shutting off at 85 questions!!!! I truly must say that this school THOROUGHLY.... prepared me for NCLEX. I personally would like to thank professor Brown, who taught me how to think like a nurse, youll understand that statement once in nursing school. This school, if you apply yourself, will equip you with the knowledge, skill, and grace it takes to become a nurse. I wouldnt change the fact that I attended this school for anything. I haven’t even attended this school and I know for sure I’m not going . Why ? I followed my intuition , my gut feeling. I was searching for lpn programs in NY and found this school so I decided to call . I ended up speaking with some guy , I guess he’s some director/chair or whichever . His name is Mr. Bradwick or bradweight something similar to that so he says. The second we began talking he was extremely rude. His energy came off impolite as he was huffing and puffing in the phone , cutting me off , got upset because I pronounced his name wrong and just plain out unprofessional. Than he starts asking me personal questions about my life and age of my child , I mean things that really has nothing to do with the program. Might I add he was playing loud jarule and jlo music in the back telling me New York will be a hard place to live etc etc, basically not even motivating me to pursue the program. He was just completely negative. Than he would sit on the phone quiet without asking me anything and I would say things like soooooo ummmm so how much is this , when does this start , I had to be the only and first one to initiate a conversation and that again is unprofessional. Than after all of that he turns around and tells me to call his cell phone number and meet him. Ummmmm what ? Based off of him alone and the tacky, uncomfortable ness of this I hung up in his ear. After I did that I immediately felt relieved ! I’m glad I didn’t fall for this school because it was already a waste before I even applied. Before I decided to write this post I just happen to scroll and see other people talking about this same guy asking personal questions. Go figure. I’m not here to be mean however and bash this whole entire school because it’s not everyone there I’m sure but people just be aware and go with what your comfortable with. This school will definitely not get any of my time and or money. Good luck and god bless you all !

This school is all about money and scam. This school doesnt want you to know things about themselves because once you sign their contract you are under their rules. I was in this school. This school is 30,000 but in the book policy it say 27,000 but they charge you 30,000 anyways, entrance exam is $100 with reading, math, critical thinking, with only 2 and 1/2 hours to finish, so more than likely you will have to retest again which is another $100 plus 50 application fee, then you have to buy your own books and uniform then after all that they have this ATI thing that they made up and dont want you to know about. ATI is about $1284 that you have to pay out your own pockets and it is part of your grade with each class, the owner of the school makes up all the test the teachers dont, keep in mind if you go to other schools you do not have to take or pay additional amount of money for their ATI that AMG makes up. They even added critical thinking, microbiology, and other classes to make money off the students, thats pretty much part of an RN program not LPN program. The program director is nasty, very rude, bias, she likes who she likes and dont care about nothing but money out of the students. If you dont mind kissing ass and have money to waste then this school is perfect for you but if not I highly suggest that you go to another school thats better than this before you sign their contract.
