Simply the best. My children take lessons at Music and Arts, which is wonderful, but I was looking for more advanced instruction for myself on guitar. Jeff Sollohub hooked me up with his instructor, Ian, and it has been an amazing four months up to now. I was self taught since 1984 and my playing has improved more since starting at Sollohub than it did in the three or five years leading up to starting lessons. Jeff is great to work with, the rates are competitive with everywhere else, but the personal attention of the teachers Ive interacted with is beyond compare.

Ever since I started guitar with here, my skills have improved dramatically. Jeff provides a fast moving yet easy to understand method of teaching. His variety in instruments he can teach is rather large as well. The lessons are a good price. Also Jeff is very friendly and energetic making it encouraging to improve on ones skills.

Ive been taking guitar lessons from Sollohub School of Music for 4 years and the instruction is excellent. I have progressed a lot faster with the lessons than I could have trying to get the information and practice tips from a book or on-line. One of the parts I like is the interaction with other musicians which is a real benefit over playing at home by yourself. I would recommend the Sollohub School of Music to anyone who wants to learn to play the guitar.

Mike is an amazing instructor. He teaches me songs I want to learn based on my skill level. This makes me really look forward to our lessons because Im learning stuff I want to. I am an adult learning guitar and I have been given the same amount of encouragement that he would his other younger students :)I highly recommend the guitar lessons at Sollohub.

Ive been taking voice lessons with Kathryn here for several months and noticed a significant improvement in my vocal abilities. The lesson always seems to fly by, but I feel like I get something out of every one. I also really appreciated her flexibility when I needed to make up a lesson. Highly recommend!

So, if there were MORE stars I could give I would!! Long story short, I found their Groupon and decided this might be the best way to test the musical waters for my 5 year old son. When I called to get some information about the school I spoke to Jeff, one of the owners,he was so down to earth, professional, and helpful and extremely kind as I asked a million questions!! I could tell that he was truly interested in HELPING me find the best fit for my son as a musician instead of trying to sell me on his school! Later my son was then placed with Kristen for piano! She was professional,extremely patient, and just an AMAZING teacher (gosh were was she when I was a kid!)!!! My son and I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Sollohub School of Music!!!! If you are even THINKING about lessons for yourself or your child, call them today!!! THIS IS THE BEST SCHOOL!!! Oh and Holidays are coming up so TELL GRANDPARENTS, Aunts, Uncles, and Friends, THIS would be a GREAT gift to get/give!!!!

Mike is an amazing guitar instructor! He is so great at teaching young kids in a way that they can understand. My 9 year old son has been there for over a year and absolutely loves it. We highly recommend Sollohub Music!

I cant say enough good things about Sollohub School of Music! After a 12 year hiatus, I picked up playing guitar again about ten years ago. When I restarted, I barely remembered my power chords.
