I’ve loved being at Texas A&M, because of the strong sense of community. Everyone says that about their own school, but at A&M, it is noticeably different. Aggies would go out of their way to help fellow Aggies. When you meet someone with an Aggie ring, you have an instant bond. If you have an Aggie sticker on your car, you’ll get handwritten notes of kindness and encouragement for that reason only. On campus, students are nicer to each other and more helpful. The camaraderie is the best part of going to Midnight Yell and football games. Traditions are kept alive by student organizations that are here to connect Aggies with each other and Texas A&M’s history. As an alumni, you remained connected to the Aggie community through the Association of Former Students and A&M club socials. Texas A&M fosters a sense of community like no other school I know of and that is why I love being an Aggie.
