Like anywhere there are good people here and there are bad people.If you are a counselor, ask every person you speak to how they came into the role they are in and ask how it correlates to what they were doing prior. If the answers don’t make sense (and they won’t in at least one case) it’s because the person is no longer welcome in their field in the area. Do NOT send a student here until you feel confident you know the entire workings of the school.If you are a potential student; if someone seems “off” or cold and indifferent to your well being don’t ignore that. Go with your gut. Get as much background information on employee retention, complaints lodged against employees professionally, and reach out to alumni. Do your research. It will help you so much in the end.
