Matching items tend to end up in a variety of places instead of together. As long as youre diligent, you can piece things together, but you do have to be vigilant. Also, similar items tend to have varied prices, so comparing and challenging the pricing kindly can help you save. Very nice staff and helpful.

They perform an incredible public service all day long. They help each and every donor with respect and appreciation, no matter how eclectic the donation (assuming it meets their guidelines). They also provide helpful suggestions for serviceable items that dont meet their criteria. They must have an incredible sorting organization given the sheer volume of donations. Its not uncommon to have a long line of donors in line all day long

I was hoping you could tell me why the cost of your used goods are more expensive then a brand new item at other stores? I thought the idea of thrifting was to save money and reduce waste? Why should I pay more for something used when I can just buy a new one from Walmart for less. I have seen so many dollar store items marked for $4 or MORE. It’s really sad to see.

Very polite and helpful staff. What is up with this mall where is a place to lock your Bike? I have to lock up against a light poll. Goodwill has become somewhat strange in the way it is pricing things.

Was in search of bedding, to no avail. Found a comforter for $5,99. However, it was too large. The linen isles were pretty bare, which isnt typical for Goodwill. This was the exception to my usual visits and doesnt change my opinion of Goodwill for being the store for getting items at low cost or reasonable prices.

Things have gotten way more pricier lately at every goodwill. I would recommend going to a smaller thrift shop if you can’t afford to shop there anymore. Most clothes are 6+ dollars and I know there are many people(like myself) who call that expensive. You can obviously still find cheap stuff but much more pricier nowadays.

Good place vs the most GW I have been to. Store was well setup. Clean store, nice employees. manager of all things came over and talked with me seems like a very nice person. Pricing at the store seem to be well and very little was overpriced. Thats a big plus in the Seattle area. So many times stores like this are priced to the point where you could buy it new instead from the store.

The absolute worst. We waited in a line for 40 min to drop off a bike and a wooden daybed frame. We had called the day before about if they would take it and they said if it didn’t have any fabric, it was fine. We arrived, waited in line while 1 person helped unload and 3 people stood around the drop off are talking and smoking. When we finally got to the front of the line, they wouldn’t even take the fully wooden bed frame. We couldn’t even get the red head to look at it after we assured her that we spoke to someone and they said it was fine. If I could give this experience less than 1 star, I would.

That Goodwill is the most overpriced at least amount of decent selection . When is store first open it was nice now theyve got a bunch of primadonnas prancing around the store guarding their overpriced items that they receive from the public for free. If Im okay $8 for a tank top from Macys I might as well go to Macys and buy a tank top. Its not worth your time to shop there its dirty and grimey and its just not a nice place. Cuz I dont leave bad reviews unless its absolutely 100% deserved and they absolutely deserve no stars shot the other goodwills like the one downtown or anywhere else renting anywhere anywhere else is better than that

Store is organized well but not alot to choose from. The sales people were friendly & did a good job.

I do give 1 star because she asked nicely. After wearing a long face shield for nearly a year now at this location, I was told that I couldnt enter without a mouth covering under it. Too bad they dont want my support. I wasnt trying to go in with nothing.

Its a hit or miss on some shopping days. Its unfortunate the prices have gone up on items very used. But other than the occasional crack head strolling in ,its a pretty decent store.

They had really good finds! I got 1 super cute jacket, 1 Under Armor sports bra & 2 pairs of converse.

Drop off is efficient. Store well maintained and neat. Very easy to see the section you want to shop in.

Least favorite thrift shop in the area. I don’t go often for clothing so I can’t say much there. But for house stuff, the pricing is insane. They get so many donations and I rarely find anything worth buying here and when I do it’s damn expensive

I go to many goodwills, the Burien GoodWil happens to be one my favorites. Mainly cause the staff is great& the store is fairly large, for a satilite store. Plus they have a great selection in all departments of the store. Im sure i will regret giving this reveiw later, cause the Burien Goodwil is a hidden gem sort a speak. & also the one in tukwila, in the south center area, not as big as burien , however the rest of my Burien store review applies to tukwila store.Sincerely, Jovonna

Clean, organized, excellent service from staff.

Went today and theres a Good improvement at this store after covid as Before when I had been I always found Big downfalls and now theres alot of changes and big improvements that have happened but one thing that hasnt changed is wrong information via employees who answer The phone giving outdated information to customers so for management you really need to have updated information printed next to your phones for employees a month Before changes.

I had not been on a Monday, $1.99 tag sale, for about a month.Was shocked at all the goodies I found. The only thing lacking was plus sized red tag dresses.

No sales posted like Tacoma does. High prices. Was clean and well organized.

One of the best goodwills in the city. Prices are a bit on the higher side but they like most places have 50% of days that you can get texted to you. I found a lovely go l vase made by a locally known potter tonight and got the 50% off, so it was $3.50. great deal.

I want to compliment the staff at Goodwill...especially a man named Dan....he was my first encounter with Goodwill...my very first time there they were about to close and there was a LINE.....i was told i could come back the following day.....the lines were so confusing I was not sure how to get out of there......he had me follow him in my car as he walked all the way to the end, got me through the line and out to the street. Who does things Like that? The next morning I was there EARLY .....and when he started prepping for the donation line....he took the time again to explain the procedure and made sure i knew what to do and was comfortable about it.....i will follow up with a letter to his supervisor....it is those kind of experiences that make a difference..deginitely in THESE times......certainly embodies Goodwill. Prices are out of control. I frequent thrift stores daily. Thought I would take a drive to check out this location. Everything is WAY over priced. I found the exact same item I bought at another location for $1.99 this location had it for $6.99.Layout of store is very clean and organized. But, I will not waste my time to go back.

Goodwill Burien Washington is a awesome place to shop if you need some clothes for a good price theres alot of different kinds of stuff there to look at and buy stuff for your ect . I have found most of the staff rather unfriendly. With the exception of tonight. There was a very sweet and very helpful young lady there who was friendly, helpful and made me feel like I was the only customer in the store. I wish I had gotten her name. This review is related to donating, not shopping. We tried to drop off donations two days in a row only to wait in line for an hour+ then were told they were going to take a break for an hour+ and we could wait or leave. I won’t be going back. They are not set up to handle the demand.

Your manager is rude and disrespectful! she only treats costumers that are her race with respect if it were up to me i would not have her be the manager! get a new one that is nice and treats her costumers with respect.

Goodwill Burien is the place to shop if youre looking for excellent deals, looks for gems in a rough and a large selection of everything you may want or need.

This store is getting worse and worse. Manager Lady, dark skinned complained my kid left a huge mess at the toy section. Today is $1.29 salesMonday, theres tons of kids there playing so the moms can shop! And youre complaining? I mean isnt it your job to clean and understand that toys are meant for kids to play while MOMS shopped? And YOURE GETTING PAID TO DO WHAT?? .

One of the better goodwill Ive been too it at times even much better than Ross (dress like Mess) tj max, marshalls and the rack. I think theres a lot of electronics companys in the area because I always find *working electronics ** for dirt dirt cheap. I sometimes sell it sometime keep it. But they got deals all day long

Store is clean and friendly staff. The prices at this are like a retail store. Bras that sell at Kohls and jc Penney prized at $14.99. You can buy less at the stores on clearance. Shoes are are also overpriced. Found one designer brand of shoes prized at $79.99, you can get the same brand of shoes at Nordstrom rack for half the price. Its sweater and coats season. Their coats are at least $19.99. So disappointed, people who cannot afford retail count on thrift stores but now their prices are like retail prices for used items. How do you over price like this for donated items?

Unimpressed by the customer service. They close the dressing rooms at 8:30, which is understandable. But I, along with a few others were waiting for a dressing room at least 10 minutes before it closed. One of the stalls was empty for a few minutes because there was no one around to unlock it. When it turned 8:30 we were told we were no longer able to try anything on. They could have told us while waiting in line that there wouldn’t be time. The lack of communication and care for the customers time makes me not want to go back.

This is a great Goodwill location with a large retail store. The prices can be a little high, but the selection helps to balance the store. I recently picked up some weights here on the cheap - theres deals to be had.

A little bit on the spendy side for a thrift shop. On the other hand, amongst the junk, you can find some treasures at a good value. Dont bother with the new stuff they sell. Go to Dollar Tree for 90% of that stuff for a fraction the price.

Love this store! The staff has always been friendly. No matter what people say about the prices its better then pay full retail! If you find something in the store thats over priced they will look into it for you, they are really good about item pricing at this store. People on here complaining about the prices seem to forget this is GoodWill, They support job training and education! Its a charity store.When my wife and I go to our favorite charity dinner every year the plate of food they survive is nowhere near $100 a plate, I pay for it knowing where the money is going and Im happy to do so.I dont mind helping a stranger.

It’s a bit pricy, goodwills have started upping the price for anything from a decent brand. Used pants for 13$ is ok, but doesn’t really motivate me to buy any. I usually just get a dvd or kitchen supplies and get the rest of my stuff new. They won’t discriminate here though and that’s one of the main reasons I give them my business.

It smelled like sulfur in there and the selection was mostly cheaply made fast fashion brands like Forever 21 and H&M that are way over priced.
