During past two years our son was at this location, and he learned a great deal. He is a little speech delayed, however because of the effort from the staff, he improved very fast and became ready for the kindergarten. We had a very positive experience for our daughter as well who was enrolled here 4 years ago. Overall, excellent learning environment, responsive and caring staff members, and well-maintained facility.

This is the place I want my child to learn and grow. I am so thankful I found KinderCare at Burke Commons. Becoming a new mom and being a teacher during this pandemic has a nerve-wracking experience and when it was time for me to head back into the classroom, I needed care for my daughter where I felt she would be safe and happy. Six months later she runs through the door and into her teachers arms without even a backward glance. Thats one of the many ways I know that the staff at Burke KinderCare love and nurture my child as if she was their own. I enjoy seeing her updates on the KinderCare app and receive frequent communication from her teachers and the director as to how she is doing. I feel I can come to director Dawn with any questions or concerns, no matter how small, and she will be patient and attentive. I also love getting photos of my daughter throughout the day! I do not hesitate to recommend Burke KinderCare to any parent.

We love Burke KinderCare! The staff show care, love, and commitment to the kids. They are kind, cautious, and we feel good leaving our child in their care! The staff is great, the facility is always clean, and they communicate changes and updates quickly.

We moved and had to transfer our son from another KinderCare to the Burke KinderCare. I was very satisfied with our previous KinderCare but the Burke location is even better! Very clean, extremely friendly and responsive staff. Our son is learning a lot, having fun and loves his teachers. Every day when I pick him up I ask him if he had a good day to which he usually replies, I had a GREAT day!! I highly recommend the Burke KinderCare.

We have had a very positive experience at the Burke Commons KinderCare! My daughter spent the first year of her life at home with just her parents, so I was very nervous about the transition to daycare. The entire team made it easy! Of course there were tears at first, but in a matter of weeks, my daughter smiles when we arrive and reaches out for the staff when we enter the building. She is happy and loving it! Dawn and Susie are warm, friendly, and professional. They are very prompt with communication. Her teachers, Ms. Donna and Ms. Fatema, clearly love and adore my daughter, which makes leaving her in their care so much easier. Her teachers are great about posting notes and pictures on the app, so that I still feel a part of my daughter’s day! I would recommend this daycare center!

We love our KinderCare! The staff is professional, warm And friendly. The kids work on fun projects and have a great curriculum to follow. I love the free app that allows me to see some pictures during the day and follow his activities. It also gives direct communication to the center directors and teacher. I was a little apprehensive sending my child to a daycare during the pandemic but the team follows all safety precautions and provides a fun and positive learning environment.

Top notch day care and great value for the area. Exceptional and dedicated staff, consistent updates and reporting throughout the day, interesting activities for the kids, great outdoor space for them to run around, open early and late compared to other places, and all meals provided by the facility, including breakfast. Cant speak highly enough about this place.

Our two children love it at BC Kindercare. The school is doing SUCH a great job with distance learning obstacles this year. The kids are happy and healthy and we have peace of mind while going to work. Im very impressed with the communication. BC is a life saver for our family.

My son started one week before everything shut down transitioning from in home daycare to preschool. We started back end of July and I was nervous about the transition but as soon as we arrived they said hello to my son and remembered his name which made me and him feel like I made the right decision. The school and teachers are great keeping me informed daily of his activities and sending me pictures. He is thriving and learning so much even to try different foods that I couldn’t get him to eat before green beans and mashed potatoes. He loves the staff and his classmates and is excited to go to school everyday. Since we can’t enter the classroom anymore the staff has done an outstanding job at opening lines of communication and even posting a YouTube video so we can see the spaces where our kids are and getting to see the staff that he sees daily. We love it and definitely feel likes it’s a family.

I currently work for kindercare in Burke Va, and I personally can say this is the happiest I’ve ever been with a job, the students are wonderful and the employees/staff are so understanding and accepting. Nothing brings peace and clarity when you have understanding bosses that will go above and beyond for their employees and values their mental health, family matters, and wellness. They want the best for the kiddos and make sure they are prepared for the next steps in life 💯. My son is also enrolled and the drastic change in his behavior, mannerisms, and education is outstanding ! As a single mom it brings such relief that I have a team and family that has my son and I’s back!

Both our children go here and my daughter refers to her teachers in the Pre-K room (Ms. Kennia, Ms. Sophia, Ms. Tania) as her second moms. She has been at the center for 3 years and has been so happy in each classroom!Our son is in the infant classroom and due to him starting during covid - we werent able to do the typical infant transition that youd expect when you have to pass off your baby to a new caregiver. However, Ms. Donna and Ms. Fatema did a wonderful job of making sure he transitioned well and was very well cared for. No crying at drop-off!The center has done a great job of safety protocols with covid and with the introduction of the Kindercare app, communication has also improved.

My son has been attending this center since he was 9 months and he’s currently 2.5 yrs old. He loves it here and looks forward to going to play with his friends. His teacher Ms.Patricia is caring towards all the kids in her class and you can tell she genuinely cares for the kids. As a mom I have peace of mind when leaving my son at this center. Management (Ms.Dawn and Ms.Susie) is also really great, they consistently communicate any changes or activities going on at the center and address any issues I have in a professional manner. I definitely would recommend this center to any parent.

This is a preschool where the teachers that my daughter has interacted with honestly care. My daughter has been going here for about 2 years now and she LOVES it. As a parent on the move, I need to know and trust the people who are caring for my kid and I feel very comfortable with this group. Now that we are moving to 100% virtual learning, they have really made me feel like we are in this together and will be a partner in helping my daughter navigate second grade. They are working on a curriculum that will help fill in the gaps from virtual school such as PE and art.

We love Burke KinderCare for our three children! You can tell that all of the teachers really care for your children and they create awesome activities to keep them engaged and help them to develop. The Director and Assistant Director have gone above and beyond to make sure that the center is safe and fun for our kids and they have handled any issues that have come up with complete transparency and professionalism. We cannot recommend this center enough and we are so glad that we have all of these wonderful people to help our children grow and thrive!

Our daughter has been attending Burke Commons KinderCare for about 2 years. She loves the staff and teachers. As a family, we trust the staff and teachers. We also enjoy their App, it is a good way for the center to communicate with families and make parents feel connected with their child or children while they are attending the center.

I LOVE IT the staff are very friendly and are always ready to help, my daughter is so happy to be part of the center she loves her teachers and how nice everyone is, I love how happy my daughter is and how well she has learned to open up more with kids of her age and everyday she informs me of how much fun she has and the things she learns. I WOULD definitely recommend any parent that’s looking for great people to watch over your child, if I could give them more stars I would I love how nice everyone id to the kids as well as the parents.

Im a first time mom whose son goes to this center and I am so impressed with both the teachers and the management. Regarding the teachers: they are hands on, they actively engage with children and dont just give them something to occupy them, they are competent and confident in their abilities, Ive observed them being attentive to each childs unique needs, they have a great rapport with each other and are so friendly to parents--they also seem like they really like their jobs, which is what you want to see! Regarding management: they have impressed me with their consistent communication. They respond to all messages through the app, reach out to check on my son if hes out sick, are transparent if there is any kind of misunderstanding like a typo on the daily report for example, and are clearly invested in maintaining a happy and safe atmosphere for their students, staff, and parents. Thanks for everything!

My infant daughter goes here and I absolutely adore the staff. They are so caring and do their job very well. I would highly recommend anyone wanting to bring their child/children to KinderCare.The management has recently changed and they have made amazing changes to the center. Dawn and Susie work hard every day to make sure the center runs smoothly and are doing a beautiful job!

My son has been attending for about a year now and he absolutely loves it. There are so many activities scheduled for him throughout the day, week and month that he is always active. They communicate with the parents really well and are always willing to help out. I honestly cannot say a single bad thing about any of the staff or the center itself. Love them for being so good to my son.

My son has been attending KinderCare for a month. He is in the Pre-Kindergarten class, he is learning everything he needs to know for kindergarten, he is very prepared. Our daughter has been attending kindercare since she was 3 months old (she is now 2.5). I can honestly say we weren’t expecting much out of a daycare, and just wanted someplace safe for her while we were at Work. We have been blown away by how much she has learned and grown at the school. There are lessons and she’s learned how to count, her colors, several nursery rhymes, and she’s speaking full sentences. They encourage reading and learning through play. There’s also a really great playground out back! They have fun events throughout the year to keep it fun such as ice cream trucks and splash days in the summer and trunk or treat for Halloween. They offer healthy breakfast, lunch, and snack options, so I don’t have to worry about packing! The staff is nice and genuinely area about the children!

My son has been in the twos class for a year. The teachers really care about the kids and are very helpful with potty training.
