I boarded a horse and took lessons with Deer Creek for the last few months and LOVE this barn. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming and the senior trainer Jennifer is knowledgeable, gentle with the horses, and able to work with riders of all levels at the pace that is comfortable for them. The barn has a nice large covered arena which was always available for rides (not crowded after work), an outdoor arena and really nice pastures for turnout. My horse came to Deer Creek quite thin and gained weight and grew in a nice shiny coat in two months. He is noticeably happy at this barn. The cleaning staff are young men who are all so nice and helpful! I liked how the training rides for this horse were tailored to his age and level. Empathetic and kind trainers. Rachel is great, too. Vet visits are coordinated so all boarders can share call fees. Another great thing is that lessons are flexible each week in terms of the “when”, with a good system which I’ve never heard of in other barns, but is GREAT for real life where some weeks we can do x time and other weeks we can do y time. Honestly, I really liked this place, but moved bc we moved where it was an hour away in non rush hour traffic. If you’re wanting a friendly, welcoming place where you really can learn about horses, don’t hesitate to try this barn.

Phone number does not work. Saw from Google they are open till 9:00pm. Tried to call number and whoever answered wouldnt say anything and just kept hanging up. The number needs to be updated and/or removed as it does not work. If the hours are not correct, it should be updated also so people know not to call. Was excited to try them out but now am not so sure if theyre even still in business 🤷🏻‍♀️

Deer Creek Stables is a wonderful place to ride, train and learn. I have had experiences at other barns and this one is by far the best!
