We are starting our 3rd year with YDE this fall. My twins started and now I have two of my boys in classes as well. Ms. Dixie has made us feel so welcome! I started this journey not knowing what I was getting into. I dont regret it at all and my children will always be students at YDE.

I was looking for a dance studio that did not offer competitive dancing. My friend recommended Youth Dance Ensemble, and I am glad she did! This studio offers high class instruction for a decent price. My daughter is in the Repertoire dance program and has improved immensely in her dance skills. She also loves performing in the Nutcracker ballet every year. I would highly recommend this dance school.

Weve been part of the YDE community for about eight years. I have a dance background and was looking for a school that offered both excellent ballet technique AND exposure to other dance styles. YDE has met those expectations and more!As a young dancer, our daughter was exposed to coordination, rhythm and performance in a warm, age-appropriate environment. As her ability and love of dance has grown, so have the opportunities at YDE. She has worked with guest teachers and choreographers, experienced low-stress auditions, is part of a multi-age rep/company experience--and always with just the right amount of challenge (and support) when shes needed it.I also really appreciate that YDE is a non-profit. Part of their mission is to support dance as an art-form and make it accessible to the broader community. Through their programming, YDE dancers are offered the opportunity to share their gifts, and their love of dance, in service to their larger community.

YDE is exactly what we were searching for in a dance school for our daughter -- strong, technical dance training in a supportive and creative environment, with the opportunity to perform competition-quality dance in a variety of non-competitive settings. Youth Dance Ensemble is a great place to dance! The studio offers high-quality instruction in ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, musical theater, and hip-hop. We also have a boys/young mens class! The environment among the students, staff, and families is nurturing and the supportive. All 4 of my kids have loved dancing at YDE (and one is currently majoring in ballet at college). If you are looking for a terrific place to dance, come observe a class at YDE!
