Woodpark Montessori is a very good school for kids of all ages from 6 weeks old up through Kindergarten. Our daughter started attending Woodpark Montessori when she was 17 mo. old. Woodpark Montessori teaches: Spanish, Sign Language, Computers, Math, Spelling, Reading, Science, History, Geography, Art, & Music from a very young age. They also offer Piano, Dance, and other activities during school time. The staff is wonderful and most have been there for many years! Our daughter loves and respects every one of her teachers. They work with your child on a one to one basis... Our daughter was able to do addition, subtraction, read books, etc. before the age of 5.One thing that really impressed me was that they get children to stand up in front of an audience and sing a solo, introduce a program, and even give presentations. Amazing! We are so happy we had our daughter attend Kindergarten at Woodpark Montessori also! Well worth it!

We stumbled upon Woodpark when I switched jobs and needed new childcare closer to my work, and it was the best thing that could have happened to us and our child. Woodpark is an amazing place. Our daughter has grown in ways I would not have even realized she could. The teachers there are all incredible. They have been there for years (which is so rare for a daycare/preschool), several of them having attended Woodpark as kids themselves! The family that owns Woodpark is beyond dedicated to providing the best experience for both families and the children they tend to. Its amazing how much love they have poured into these two centers, and thus into the kids. I could go on about Woodpark for pages, but I wont. Ill just say this: When we walk through the door, my daughter literally runs to her classroom yelling bye as an afterthought. I feel like I am doing her such a service bringing her to Woodpark everyday, and it is helping to form her into the best person she can be. I would recommend Woodpark without hesitation, and feel very fortunate to have my child in such a wonderful school.

We absolutely love Woodpark Montesorri. Weve had our twins there for over a year and are thrilled with the love they get from their teachers and the perfect balance between learning and playing. They offer many experiences for the children, such as soccer, piano, ice skating, martial arts, and field trips. They also provide healthy meals and snacks. This is the 3rd school that they have attended and we couldnt be happier.

Worst school of my life, Im in 5th grade now but, looking back to this school just makes me cringe. I remember one day i was playing in the toddler room (one of those rooms) I fell and hit my front teeth (on top) and was bleeding like crazy, they never called my mom. They once forced me to eat a food I hate (i still hate it to this day.) The only nice teacher was Miss Misty, she was the one who got me into reading and I remember she read the Magic Treehouse series to us and I was in love with that book, god did I love her.

My daughter was 14 months in 2013 when I enrolled her into Woodpark Montessori Child Care in Burnsville. That was the best decision I have made for her, she absolutely loves it there and so do I. The teachers are so sweet and keep you updated with the progress of your child. The helpers are also very insightful and I have never had a problem with their care. It is a very clean and organized environment. They do so many activities/field trips and I have witnessed so much growth in her ability to talk, draw, speak Spanish, write letters. She is now 3 and I couldnt be more proud of how smart she is. I do give a lot of credit to her school. This daycare isnt just a regular daycare, they have Montessori time where they do learning activities for about an hour in a half on their personal rug. They make sure she is ready for the next level. My daughter got moved to preschool when she was 31 months (2.5 years old) The food is very healthy and good for the kids. The Center is right off of 42 and right by the highways, its very convenient. Most of the teachers also have been there for 10+ years. The owners are the cutest couple from Sir Lanka and they do a great job with the daycare.Their daughter Dilini and Program Director Miss Misty are amazing also, I could write for days about each person at the daycare. I would definitely recommend Woodpark Montessori Child Care,I am a very satisfied parent, I couldnt imagine my daughter anywhere else.

My son, Blake (now 7) went to Woodpark Montessori from 7 months - Kindergarten. We thought it was expensive, but he was our only one so we made it work. When I got pregnant with our second child. We were going to try to save some money and send her to an in home daycare. We found one in our neighborhood. Were so excited. We could drop our daughter off there in the AM and then Blake (7) would take the same school bus that he took to school, home and just get off at a different stop. Then I could pick both my kids up at one stop. Fast Forward 3 month of doing this and Blake said, “Miss _____ spanks the kids when they are not behaving.” I about died. I went into teacher mood and asked a million and one questions like, Can you show me how on your stuff animal? Does she hit you? Does she hit our daughter? Do the kids cry when they are hit? How often does she do this? Does her Husband Mr. _____ spank kids too? etc.Woodpark was my first phone call after the million and one questions to Blake. I called them in a panic and asked them first what I should do and then 2nd if they had openings. This place is so close to my heart they were the only people I trusted to tell me what to do and to make matters worse, they didnt have any openings for infants. UGH! I about died! At that moment I wanted more than anything for my baby to be in a safe and loving environment and there was no where in the world I wanted her, than Woodpark. They proved their loving, dedicated and exceptional care for my son. Saving the 20/month wasn’t worth the trade off to know that my baby was safe. The next day Miss Misty (director) called me and said they made room for my daughter by moving the infant room location across the hall to a larger room. What an act of love from a family of people I trust with my most precious gift in the world. They seriously love their babies, infants, toddlers and Kindergarteners. They have a top-notch curriculum for all ages (yes even babies). Their prices are comparable, if not cheaper than many of the other center childcare. What you get for the money is not just childcare, and your babies educated but rather an investment in your babies welfare. There are not enough positive things I can say about this place. I truly love all the teachers and the family run feel. They have a facebook page search for it and you can just see the love and happiness in all the childrens faces.
