Rapidly going downhill. If you look at all those 5 star ratings, they are 4+ years or older, all written prior to the new Superintendent coming into office. The great teachers are retiring, and a lot of the awesome younger teachers are leaving the district due to ineffective leadership from the superintendent and the principal. The superintendent is very focused on budget cutting for educational programs, but sees nothing wrong with having a Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, 2 principals, a Dean, and extensive support staff for those positions. Seriously its less than 700 students. Maybe the administrative staff could file their own paperwork and make their own phone calls, and we could bring back the Foreign language program and focus on student education.

I went to this school and even though it was a very great school, they taught you the right things to know... not all were very relevant. Some teachers did not treat kids the same as others. Even some students would realize teachers treating kids unfairly. Some teachers arent that great at teaching the lesson. Some teachers would sometimes even get upset when kids arent understanding the process when we are trying out hardest. Overall, I do recommend this school. Other than that situation it is very great the principal and the dean of students are very sweet people and some teachers are great.

One of the best schools in the midwest. The teachers are great and the kids come out smarter than they will in any other school around there.

I graduated 8th grade this year and I gotta say this is the best school Ive ever gone to the kids are nice and helpful, my previous school which was Westview Hills wouldnt even compare to this school at all

Gower, ive been going to this school for 10 years. I graduated yesterday. Ive never meet anyone that has tried to put me down, that has tried to ruin my day. every heat at gower is amazing and filled with love. The teachers teach more than there topics they teach how to go on in life and live life to the fullest. they tough me this year that highschool wont be as bad, that its a new chapter in life. Gower has a amazing principal shes tought me so much how to accept eveyone and how to know your strengths. thank you gower for a amazing ten years.
