DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE!!! Director is very unprofessional and dismissive. My daughter was spanked and pinched by a male teacher and it took her a week to respond to me and told me that no such thing happened. Come to find out when I shared my experience over social media multiple other parents came forward regarding the issue as well saying that teachers were hitting their kids, spanking, AND choking. I don’t know what’s happening at this daycare but it seems like they have their own little cult going on. It’s not just one teacher.. there have been multiple accused. Once the CPS investigation is done I will add the details as to how you can review the report.

My siblings went here and this place is HORRIBLE! Before ANYONE says “wrong place” this is not the wrong place. This little 1-3 year old got smacked. My mom and I saw this little kid get dragged. There was this kid who did not get fed. Also, my siblings did not get changed. DO NOT LET YOUR CHILD GO HERE. Unless you don’t care about any of this. To the owner, please don’t say that this is the wrong place or wrong. I witnessed this with my own 2 eyes. Thank you for reading.

Exceptional. My 3 children love it here and they are excited to go the next day. The staff is amazing with children and honestly care about my children and love watching them grow. I could not ask for a better place for my children to go when I cant be with them. Five stars 100%.

I did love this place. I do not understand the co-payment for the children that get state assistance. We get the assistance because the help is needed. Its the ONLY assistance I get, not child support or food assistance.. so the co-payment is questionable, when I call other child care centers, they do not have this...

I was excited after meeting the staff and seeing the center to send my daughter here. I called them the same day I toured ( a Wednesday) to let them know I was ready to start the process of enrolling her at the center. The next day I never got a call back and remembered they told me email was the best way to contact them so I emailed them early in the morning on a Thursday. After that was a long weekend so the next Tuesday I called again because I hadn’t received any response to my call or email. I spoke with a lady who said my call would be returned shortly the person I needed was in a meeting but it never was. After a week of emails and calls I was never contacted back it was very disappointing after initially liking the idea of sending my daughter here. The no communication made me say nevermind I need the people caring for my child to be way more responsive.

My daughter loves it here! They have lots to do for the kids and the workers are very kind and patient. So glad I can send my kid here with peace of mind knowing that shes in the best of hands! 😊

We have had our children at several different child care facilities over the years, and Daystar is the best by far. The staff is capable, courteous, and concerned with the childrens well being. Would recommend to anyone without reservation.

While Im not a parent, I know the caliber of people who run this daycare, and have seen the day-to-day workings firsthand. I can think of no better place in Genesee County.As a person of color myself, if I ever had children they absolutely would be going here. Any comments about people of color having issues with their children being abused are lies and pure nonsense. The staff are genuine living examples of Christianity with records of amazing service. I wouldnt hesitate even for a moment to recommend Daystar to ANYONE.

I couldnt ask for better people to care for my children. They care for my children as if they are their own. They made the transition from me being a stay at home mom wonderful for both me and my children.

They are compassionate and caring. I appreciate the work they do.

Do not send children of color there one teacher miss j is picking on them me and 3 other families have had issues with her grabbing our kids and saying not so nice things to them if you are a family of color I would suggest going somewhere else.
