Worst technical school. Some of the teachers were decent but overall, the educational courses provided wont get you far in life. Its been a LONG while since Ive attended so I dont know what its like now but Im willing to bet that very little has changed for the better. The head of the Graphic Design program only cared about his own status and securing his own future while pretending to care about ours. Horrible as that may sound, I believe it to be the truth. For any young person that may come across this, I would advise them to: 1-Stay FAR away from this campus. 2-Research your field of study and the schools that provide education on it THOROUGHLY. And 3- Its best not to mix with too many people, even if you are really social because most young people just entering college are extremely immature, cause trouble and will hinder your progress. MOST (not all, but trust me, its true). But basically, trust me when I say that this particular Westwood campus is not the best place to receive a technical education. The only pluses I can think of is that there were at least a few good instructors there as I mentioned earlier and its located at my one of my favorite malls River Oaks. I would go there just to clear my head from long stressful days. Well, that concludes my vent. Im done venting now. Lol.

I didnt like anything . This school is a scam and in it for thenalves . The career services is garbage. The president of the campus doesnt even speak to his students. I wouldnt recommend it to anyone . No one wants to hire Westwood students at their clinics because we havent been taught enough or the correct way . (Medical assistant program)

First of all, i had a cousin who attended this location when it first opened. He graduated and the job placement they promised was crap as they did not give him any. I attended this college from 2003 to early 2004. When i applied for thus place i was given a tour and when i was told i have to pay a application fee and told them i didnt bring any cash with me the rep left the office and came back with a big dog to try and scare me into paying the fee. The so called big dog was told about himself and i told the rep that she was wrong for having me come tour the school and NOT telling me about the fee. They learned that day that those tactics dont work on everyone. I told them Ill pay the fee when i feel the interest to attend. I took care of it two weeks before classes began and the whole process was garbage. Now one of the best people i dealt with there was april nelliman (who no longer works there,smart lady). She was always upbeat and took good care of the students. I stopped attending because a teacher there messed up my grade which caused me to be placed on academic probation. I appealed and even though i showed proof that he did they still denied my appeal. The director of graphic design told me that the instructors arent even fully accredited teachers and theyre still students themselves. Im actually glad i dodged a bullet by not finishing here. A few of my friends that graduated and told me that no one hired them because westwood is not as accredited as they claimed. Dont get me wrong there was some things i enjoyed but my overall experience was very underwhelming. I honestly would tell anyone who endeavor to attend here to tread very carefully.

The job placements was a lie, enough said.
