Today was an amazing experience! The 3 young ladies that took on my head challenge were patient and understanding! My hair feels great! I love it there!

This school is absolutely amazing! From being a client to also being a student! Loved getting my hair done there and also loved being a student there! I am now in shop and am happy.. I wouldnt be where I am without my Legrand chicks (also instructors)! Thank you for showing me the necessities to go out and rock it!!

I had my haircut and I love it Lydia was the student that cut my hair she was very professional I recommend her ,and will have her to do my hair again.

You really cant get better service for the price. AnnMarie did such a beautiful job on my perm, and even though it is a long, exhausting process, the ladies there made it a fun experience.

Legrand has the nicest staff ever!😊 They have helped me so much during this difficult time of COVID-19.The manager went out of her way to get me a wonderful antibacterial product with aloe to keep my skin from drying out so terribly and although they had to remain closed for a time, she was kind enough to meet me in her parking lot with product that I greatly needed.I cannot say enough about the customer service they offer, not to mention the incredible students that I’ve seen come out of this school!Whether you need your hair done, a manicure or a pedicure, or just affordable product, they can deliver.Please consider their services for your next pampering. Their students are so appreciative and could use our support during this very difficult time.Rose P.

It’s so sad how half of the teachers that work there are African American but still half the students know nothing about 4c or black type hair or how to even just blow dry and flat iron black hair but yet they are about to graduate!!! I would definitely not recommend going there if you are black and have natural hair. I understand they are students and learning but the basic to any cosmetology school should be wash, blow dry and flat iron all types of hair and if the teachers are not able to teach that then you are stetting the students up for failure. I mean the more hair type you know, how to work on the more money and clients you get. it’s about to be 2020 people let’s start expanding, just because your White does not mean you should not know how to work on black hair just because you’re black does that mean you should not know how to work on white hair, hair is hair point blank......

Yesterday was my second time going and just like my first time this time was great as well.. Staff was well respected and very entertaining and even made sure my son was taken care of. As for my hair i was highly satisfied.... Great job staff

Being on disability and a widow,I dont have much money to splurge on things like a haircut often. My Daughter and I used to model our hair for Super Cuts in Jacksonville,Fla., so I know a good from a bad cut. When I walked into the school yesterday everyone was very nice. I felt very welcome. Then, the young Lady who did my hair, she actually listened to me. I paid $30 the last 2 cuts I had in the last few years. They used a razor first, then decided to wash it. I called around and one place actually asked me if I was using a brush when they blow dry my hair. WHAT??!! Duh, doesnt that have to be done so you dont have a birds nest? I actually pulled my hair into a pony tail and went below the band and went snip a week before I came into LeGrand. In the 10 years of living in Kershaw county,no one actually listened to me and gave me the layers my hair needs. I have thick,wavy course hair and I didnt get what I wanted until I had my hair cut Tuesday,July 7th. I had just cut 8 &1/2 inches when I cut the tail. haha It feels very good, bounces into place,looks great,and most important, This Stylist washed my hair first, never went near any razors,and styled after the cut.Thats what I went for,Wash,Cut,Blow Dry/Style. I cant recall this Stylists name, but she is Blonde, Pretty, and said she graduates in 2 weeks. She will be going far,in a profession that always has work. Even if something awful happened,and we had to barter because there wasnt money any longer, Hairstylists will have work. We all need our hair cut,and only someone with the knowledge and talent can do it. The price was reasonable too. Thank you for having an Open Salon. Next cut,I will be back again. Keep up the great work,and sorry this got long.I want people to not be afraid to use LeGrand,just because its a Beauty School. Yall did much better like I mentioned, than a $30. a pop salon for sure.
