Was trying to call too see if my nephew could pick up my daughter because im at work and she has an appointment but I couldnt even get in contact with anybody because nobody would answer the phone. What type of school is this that they cant even answer the phone

I used to go to charter, and they have their caring teachers and the teachers that could care less about you. The deans do not take your health issues into consideration and I have also brought weed off of a teacher who shall remain nameless. Students were stealing from each other every year. my brother got $200 stolen from him and the adminstration told him there was nothing they could do about it; but then they caught someone who ended up getting the money back for my brother. Do not, I repeat do not allow your child to attend this school, they will push your child towards greatness but let them fall because of mistakes that every young man or woman will make.

Sad to hear that even the teachers are disappointed with the school! Theyve gone so far as to organize a union. I enjoy the courtesy busing, however. Very convenient.

I AM AN 8TH GRADE STUDENT AND I AM ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED. I AM CONSIDERING QUITTING LIFE BECAUSE FIRST OFF ALL, THE ALGEBRA TEACHER HATES ME FOR NO APPARENT REASON. SHE KNOWS MY VOICE PERFECTLY AND CONTINUES TO SAY I DISRUPT THE CLASS WHEN IT IS THE OTHER STUDENTS PRETENDING TO BE ME. I AM GETTING DETENTIONS BECAUSE OF THIS. her name is liliya dzherbiy.

Camden Academy Charter High School is a jail. Over the years, Charter has gotten worse and worse. For whoever thinks that Charter is a good school, you are sadly mistaken. This school tortures students by the following: if you don’t have any ID, you can only eat a bag of 4 carrots; they don’t turn on the heater in the winter but expect us not to have a sweater on with our uniform; they don’t let us take off our blazers/sweaters when it is hot. The school covers up anything that makes them look bad for example: I heard that there was bullying going on but the school did nothing about it. So a student took matters into their own hands and took action by hitting the bully with a chromebook. And this fight caused other fights involving chromebooks. Also, there has also been thieves in the school. The one that I have heard of was what happen this year. There was a thief among Charter but they decided not to do anything about it until the student’s last year in the school, when another student caught the thief. Not only was the thief suspended but the other student was suspended for doing what the school didn’t want to do. Charter’s administrators abuse their powers and think that certain rules do not apply to them such as eating in class and using cell phones. The administrators are suppose to set an example and the only example that students get is that they should not follow the rules because they are superior. Many of the faculties purposely miss work and/or leave early because they are getting tired of how strict Charter is getting. Charter students aren’t even safe because the security guards are mostly in the cafeteria guarding the food instead of in the front office guarding the school. Charter wants to be the number one school but that doesn’t happen overnight, it happens over the years, over many years. Do not send your children to Camden Academy Charter High School unless you want them to be emotionally deprived, mentally tired, and unmotivated to continue school.

Im am annoyed by the teachers i always get kicked out all the classes for no reason mainly the algebra teacher i dont even do nothin and she kicks me out im so discusted.

Great school, Great structure. Need more windows but other than that. Best school in Camden period.

Camden Academy the place where you get suspended for spitting in the trash and the staff laughs at your problems. If you are the victim of something the staff laughs at your problem and making you feel dumb or at least in 9th grade. I have heard numerous times of how the staff laughed at someone who is in a problem and got laughed at by the dean. And the dean makes fun of students to their fellow staff.

Its nice, and the teachers here actually help me.

You really dropped the ball with the young lady wearing a head wrap.. How many students will be wearing something Green on st. patty day...what did the school do for black history month?
