My son will not go here. Weve only done an observation and wow! These children are basically robots. No 2 to 5 year old should have jobs as they call toys. They were not allowed to do anything other than walk and kids could only eat 2 at a time. Not 1 child had a smile on their face and at the end of our visits we voiced our concerns and the teacher said he will end up fitting in. No amount of individuality is able to be shown. According to the parent handbook they are NOT allowed to wear themed clothing. Sad sad place for little humans

Montessori...professional, loving, clean. Ms. Lisa is the best when it comes to early child development. Simply the best for infant to 5 yr old.

Weve been at Ms Lisas Montesori for 4 years and could not be happier. Both my boys thrive in a Montesori environment. My oldest will continue here through his TK year as the curriculum is customized to the child and where they are at in their learning. This is a school and not a play based daycare. Montessori focuses on follow the child and encourages independence. Another reviewer mentioned there are jobs and not toys, which is correct. The jobs are the work that children do during their learning time and is a staple of the Montessori way. The children spend time outside playing on the playground, in the peace garden, and other fun outdoor activities. They also work on art projects, and other creative work.My kids amaze me with the things they are learning. Kindness and Respect for themselves and others is huge here. The school year is broken up into learning about different continents and the countries and cultures of different places around the world. My kids math and reading/language skills are incredible for their ages and this is due to the Montessori way of being able to follow the child and customize their learning. Some of the work my 4 year old is doing would be considered at least 1st grade work by traditional standards.Above all, the kids are happy and joyful here. The teachers in both the infant and preschool classroom are loving and nurturing, always using kind words with the children and encouraging them to be their best. If you are looking for a caring and loving school (not daycare) environment for your child, I highly recommend Ms Lisas!

Ms Lisas school is beautiful! We stumbled into her school by accident, completely new to the area. She was not technically open but she welcomed us in to look around and talk about her program. My son felt instantly safe and ready to explore. Her room is designed for creative exploration, not chaotic, and so clean! She takes pride in her work and love for children. My son was quite shy, and we will never forget the lesson of your Love Light. When our love light is open we shine and can meet new friends, when closed nobody can connect with us. To this day, almost 4yrs later, our son still talks about his love light. I would recommend her school to anyone!

Both my children attended Ms. Lisas Montessori for kindergarten and are forever changed because of it! This school represents an extension of family, love, compassion, manners, life skills, educational learning, everything you would want to instill in your little ones. My children are the wonderful young adults they are today because of the foundation that was built at Ms. Lisas Montessori. I highly recommend her school to all families looking for the best for their children. We continue to visit the school as the years go by and the kids are grown, as Lisa and her staff loved our kids and made them feel part of a family. As a mom I understand how hard it is to trust others with your children and at Ms Lisas my children loved it as much as we did as parents. Thank you for being a part of our familys life journey!

We had many bad experiences before we ended up here and I was sooooo happy when I found it. The staff was great and it was super consistent and safe. Would recommend it to everyone!

This schools is good for rich families. I left an abusive husband & father to my only 2 children & Lisa was getting paid through the state. She was rude to me, treated me like I was a charity case which maybe I was but I left a 3 bedroom 2 bath house in downtown Placerville with $1.50 in change & I was alone & facing a long hard road ahead of me. I deserved respect. My son got out of school at 230 & the pick up time for my daughter was always 245. I went to pick her up & Lisa tried telling me I was supposed to be there at 230. She was wrong & tried to put the blame on me. All her employees were looking at me. I was embarrassed. Lisa knew my situation. So this school is great as long as you have money. I left there bitter & hurt. Im a preschool teacher as well with more ECE units than most teachers & Lisa should know better than to treat a newly single & struggling mom like garbage when I did the hardest thing to protect them. I was a stay at home mom. Their dad makes great money so I knew it wouldnt be a walk in the park. I deserved more respect. If Lisa reads this she knows exactly who I am
