This school cares too much about the insignificant things. While the grades and some subject does not have a teacher. Do not bring youre child here. Because I will definitely not once I graduate. This is not because I am a immature weed smoking drug shooting inbred but a concerned student for the education here.P.S id give this school 0 stars if I only could

This is my first year at this school and its horrble. I recommend that you do not send your child to this. There are very bad kids at this school. But there are some brilliant people hear and some that just dont care about life. Its not the worst school but it does have some flaws.

I went to Crossland High School. I graduated high school in 1999. My daughter is currently enrolled in this school. I can say this... school is what you make it and what you plan to get out of it. Every public school in PG County has its issues whether it be continuous fights, teen pregnancy, hall walkers and school skippers, they all have them. Crossland has classes that help you further your education. I am a proud alumni of Crossland.

I currently go to crossland, and I must say this school is out of control. Students have no respect, Principal is concerned about things that are less important the only thing I can say good about that school is the teachers teach well. And the counselors put a lot of effort in their work. Im just so happy that Im getting out of that school next.

Crossland doesnt have more fights than Duval, Flowers, or Oxon Hills. Freshmen will fight everywhere. And fights dont make it a bad school anyway. Just means people stand up for themselves, which is a good thing.

I went to Crossland back in 83 and I came from Detroit. My experience was very gratifying, my instructors were great as well as the great friendships that I developed. Im looking for my boy Conwel Proctor.

Its a PG and its not the late 90s/early 00s when every hood in PG went/fought there. Its an excellent facility with teenage emotions bouncing off the walls. Its a high school.

This school is underfunded and understaffed youve got certain teachers who care and strive to help and understand students but others who really dont care at all and you can tell its just for a paycheck ,on top of that permanent subs everywhere its an easy A with easy busy work but you end up with know knowledge of the course content. I had a permanent sub for English 11 a class I wanted to gain knowledge from and yet we wonder why test scores tend to be low. This year my senior year I took college prep algebra which I wanted to learn Im preparation for college but my teacher taught us algebra 1 all year a ninth grade course from a ninth grade book I complained constantly and it took 3 quarters of her trying to reach us information she couldnt even do properly shed write a formula and then use it wrong and when they finally noticed there was no apology from the teacher that knowingly misstaught us and failed us as students she simply retired and moved to Florida out of the blue one day leaving us to start the course we should have been learning all year in the 4th quarter with a teacher who gave us work so basic a 4th grader could do it (mean median and mode, basic linear graphs plotting), the class sizes were huge with my English 12 class having 45 people in it daily and people who didnt belong there sneaking in constantly and our poor teacher whos incredibly nice and knowledgeable unable to manage everyone and most days not being able to teach at all. Recently I was instructed to take a senior survey on the school and I was shocked when it came to the guidance section because there was so much our counselors were supposed to be doing that they just havent at all no talks about future colleges or careers planning , as well as being put into classes we dont need or want many of my friends ended up in Spanish 4 despite not needing it or wanting it and little knowledge of the language to begin with and voicing that fact to the counselors early in the year and repeatedly nothing changed ,I ended up taking Spanish one even though I had a credit from middle school and algebra one even though Id already passed and had the credit on my transcript, I also was forced to take financial literacy for teens in 12th grade even though I passed it in ninth with a B avg some of the teachers are amazing and really relate to students however with for my first 3 years our principal not showing up save for once or twice a week (I get it she was sick but if its to the point where the school is suffering she shouldve retired much earlier for the good of the students and staff) I feel like this school has failed me as a student.

This is the worst school i have ever attended in all my years of school. the children run over the teachers and the principal is to strict about things that dont matter, also she changes rules put in place by the Prince Georges County Board of Education. By far one of the worst schools ever.

The school looks fine but the teachers barely teach and let the students rule over them or they just hand out work that is irrelevant to the class
