Freehome ATA Martial Arts has been great for our 6 year old son. He loves it, and its great exercise. The instructors are fun and friendly, and are amazing teachers. I recommend Freehome ATA Martial Arts!

From the beginning mr. Evans and his entire staff have made us feel like family. good morals and values. helping to instill these virtues in my child all while he has fun and learn skills to protect himself. Going to ATA is the highlight of our week well worth the money spent. Mister Malay and Mr Evans are excellent at what they do and wonderful with children of all ages.

Both my son and daughter have been going to Free Home Martial Arts for 1 year now and I cant begin to tell you the difference Ive seen in both of them. Theyve become respectful and productive young adults because of their training. Not only that my entire family feels a part of something more than ourselves now. Were part of a big the Free Home Martial Arts family and community.

Both of my sons (ages 6 and 10) have been going here for almost 2 years. My youngest struggled with balance when he was 4 and my oldest needed to find something that would fit after not liking any other team sports. ATA was perfect for both of them, and needless to say they have far surpassed our initial reasons for signing up! Mr. Evans and all the staff are very patient, kind and really want the kids to have fun while still keeping the class orderly and incorporating life lessons as well (self-control, manners, learning to have discipline to succeed, stranger danger, etc) My oldest loves it so much, he nearly always helps in the younger classes, which I think is great for his self-esteem as well. We LOVE ATA!! ❤️

Freehome ATA is a fantastic facility! The owners and staff are top notch and take fantastic care of our kids. We have participated in the martial arts classes and had both our kids in the Summer Camp last year and they cant wait to go back. If you are looking for a wonderful place to let your kids have fun, Freehome ATA is the place!

This is more than just martial arts! They have become like family. The support for their students and familys is so wonderful. My son truly has become a much better version of him self. He show respect, responsibility, accountability and so much more focus in all he does!

My son was being bullied in school, he was assaulted on the bus. He began hating going to school and was miserable. I registered my son for Karate and Coach Kevin has been like a second father to my son. He and his family work together to run Free Home Martial Arts and I absolutely love everything they do. Mr. Evans built up my sons confidence and showed him how to keep the bully away without fighting. My son went from hating to ride the bus and being withdrawn to the confident fun loving boy he was. Mr. Evans is an amazing role model and supporter of my precious 5-year-old son.

My son Finn goes to the after school program at Freehome ATA. he also attended summer camp there last year and will definitely be back this year. I cannot say enough good things about this place. The staff are all amazingly sweet and loving with the children. At the same time they teach discipline and keep the kids in line. Finn is taking the afterschool karate program and doing great and loves it. When I pick him up in the afternoons he doesn’t ever want to leave! I had to switch to coming a bit later so he could have more time to play! During the summer camp program they were always busy doing obstacle courses, games, Legos, dodgeball… You name it, they were always busy and he had a blast!

I left the original review below four years ago. My opinion has changed....for the better. I joined my daughters on the floor in May 2018 when Mr. Evans offered a Mothers Day event/challenge and a decision that it was time for me to invest in myself and my health. Eighteen months later, 50 pounds lost, and a renewed confidence and pride in myself as a person was worth the sore muscles, bruises, and sweat.I knew that my girls were getting exercise, but I didnt fully understand how rigorous the workout was until I stepped on the floor. I knew that they were learning to take care of themselves in public, but I now know the confidence that you gain in the workforce and in public spaces because of that. I knew that my daughters were gaining all of this and more through their training, but it still took me eight years to step on the mat. I would encourage adults of any age or fitness level to give it a try.Mr. Evans and his staff are encouraging, and never push you to do more than your body can handle. The longer you train, the more you increase your flexibility, strength, and stamina. And the 50 pound weight loss was a bonus!Original post: We will never regret the decision to sign our daughters with Freehome ATA. By far the best part of our day is at Martial Arts. Love the happy atmosphere as we are always greeted with kind words when we walk through the door!

Our son loves doing karate here! He has advanced a few belts in the last year and loves breaking the boards!

My son has been with Freehome ATA since February of 2013 and my daughter started in August of 2014. They both love it and have so much fun! We have really enjoyed attending Freehome ATA and I am so thankful we found them! All the instructors are wonderful with children and we could not be more happier there!
