I’ve only been here a couple of months but wow! The care is amazing, the horses are looked after as if they’re personal horses of the trainer and farm owners. I never have to worry about my guy here. I love that they do night turn out and the horses are out for like 17 hours!! You can’t find this at most barns. They have dry lots which I love especially in the spring and summer which saves my horse’s feet and he also gets rotated on to the grass pasture to stretch his legs and enjoy grazing with his buddy. The horses are NEVER without hay during turnout or in their stalls. Liz is on top of everything and runs an impeccable barn and a lovely program. All of the students and other boarders are friendly and welcoming. The rings are amazing and it’s so nice to have a covered on hot or rainy days. They also offer magnawave which my guy absolutely loves.

My daughter has been riding at this barn for 2 years. She has progressed so much. She started at 6 with the beginners camp with zero riding experience, and by the end of the week, she was able to do a posting trot. This year she went to the advanced camp, and she got to go trail riding one of the days. She loved every second of it. She said her other favorite part was learning to wrap the horses legs. At this camp, the kids not only learn to ride but also learn about horse care.

We are so grateful to have found New Beginnings Stable after moving to the area. My daughter began therapeutic riding to help with her CP. When we arrived in Canton we began looking for a stable that would continue to work with her special needs but not in a therapeutic setting. Liz was up to the challenge and we are so grateful to her. My daughter continues to ride weekly and is encouraged to push herself to improve her skills.I found the barn and facilities to be well maintained and the horses well cared for. Liz, staff and other riders have always been kind and encouraging to me and my daughter. I would recommend New Beginnings to anyone looking to take riding lessons or boarding their horse.

Having grown up in the horse world myself, I knew exactly what I was looking for in a barn when my daughters started riding. The barn is clean and the riding areas well maintained. There is an open ring, a covered ring (yay for riding in rain, snow, or melting hot sun), and a round pen for lunging. The owners of the facility live on site and are always available to clients for any questions or concerns, as well as my own peace of mind that my horses always have people near by, in the event of any sickness or emergency. The farm is gated as well. The trainer, Liz, has worked wonders with both my daughters. My oldest has been with her since her walk/trot/canter days, and now is competing against kids and adults more than twice her age, and holding her own. My youngest, who is 5, is able to walk/trot/canter and jump cross-rails. Liz is excellent at taking a student, measuring their needs and the best way they learn, and working with them the way that best suits their needs. She will teach your kid how to properly ride and make conscious decisions, not just sit and look pretty, which as anyone who has spent any amount of time around horses, knows that is how you actually progress in the sport of equestrian. The barn family here is close knit and both my daughters have made great friends here. I really could not ask for a better environment for my girls to nurture their love of horses.

I absolutely love this barn! Everyone is so nice is the horses are so sweet and taken good care of by our trainer, Liz. She gives great lessons and teaches us what’s right and wrong. There is also an inside arena ( so you can ride through rain, hail, and snow!). I’ve been riding at this barn for about 2 years, and I absolutely love it!

My family has had the wonderful opportunity to work with Liz as well as the other employees of this stable and we cannot say enough good things about them. They are professional, the stable is the cleanest in town and the horses are treated like gold. If you havent had the chance to visit (theyre available almost any time of the day or evening), you dont know what youre missing!

Love this place! They put a lot of preparation into making sure the kids have a great time and enjoy their experience, assuming the kids will put down their electronics to participate of course. There’s the old saying, “you can lead a horse to water but you can’t make them drink”, and the same goes for kids.

Amazing barn. Liz is wonderful and her employees are also very respectful. My kids had a great time. We are definitely going back. Try them and you will not be disappointed.

Ms Liz is one of the nicest people you will meet. I have been doing camp and lessens off and on for 7 years and she has made learning about horses fun from day one. I look forward to seeing her at my next lesson and next years summer camp.

The staff at New Beginnings stable are so knowledgeable and helpful. My granddaughter attended the summer camp and still talks about the great experience. The stable and grounds are very clean which I was concerned about.

The environment at this barn is unfriendly and the people there all talk about each other behind each other’s backs, trainer and barn owners included. The horses are over worked at times and pounded into the ground. I personally watched it happen with my own horse a few times. I finally made the decision to leave this barn and we figured out my horse had health issue that we never would of been able to address if we had stayed. The horses were rarely ever turned out into the pastures but put in small, steep, and rocky dirt areas at night where they are unsupervised and often times come back in in the morning with cuts or lameness.

This barn is so clean and inviting. My granddaughters loved the camp and will be back. Highly recommend.

Horse Camp was VERY disappointing. The kids only get 20 minutes each with the horses in a 5-hour camp day. It’s more like babysitting.

This barn I absolutely amazing. Liz is a wonderful and kind trainer she has taught me so much, horses are wonderful, people are great, many opportunities to grow as a rider!

Great clean barn with green pastures! Dry lot turnouts have large round bales. Friendly environment!

The horses get little to no pasture turn out. Days are spent in the stalls. Nights are spent unsupervised in rocky dirt paddocks. Barn help is inconsistent. Drama. Many of the recent reviews are family and friends, not clients.

Liz is one of the best trainers out there!

So disappointed in horse camp here. No one seemed to be excited to be there, both staff and kids. Look elsewhere for camp. Very little riding and pretty boring overall.
