Our daughters ages 8 and 10 took lessons with John while we were in the area on vacation. We were not sure what time expect since it was their first time. He was phenomenal. They had a blast and could not stop talking about how much fun it was and how much they loved it. They were able to surf on their own afterwards with no issues, too! John was great to work with, quick to answer any and all questions and very professional. Can not recommend highly enough. If you’re in the area definitely give him a call, you’ll be glad you did.

Wave Masters Surf school was a great choice. My daughter Emily (age 11) was so excited to try surfing, and we arranged lessons with John at Wave Masters surf school. He was extremely knowledgeable, and with his teaching skills had Emily up and riding in the first hour. He has a really easy going style, and kids really like him. Because of his cool attitude my daughter had the time of her life and can’t wait for her next lesson. Fortunately we live in the area and she now has her own Surf coach. I had an absolutely great time with Wave Masters and my coach Brian was freaking awesome! We did two days with two hour sessions and by the end we were able to start to really catch waves ourselves and feel really comfortable in the water!

Wave Masters Surf School was just what I was looking for in a surf lesson. The instructor / owner John was amazing and made the first lesson much easier than anticipated. He even supplied a board, so I didn’t have to worry about renting one. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a great experience at a good price. My 11 year old has been surfing with John for about 3 years ago. He came recommended by my husbands business associate, who is also a surfer. John is an exuberant instructor and is great at encouraging kids. My daughter has gained so much skill and has been able to transfer her knowledge to any board related activities. At her first attempt snowboarding, last year, she was complimented on her skills and she was quick to share that she is a surfer! Maybe John needs to take on the slopes as well ;)

Took my nephew from Colorado for a surf lesson. Great communication from wave masters. My nephew had a blast! Think he has found a new hobby! We have a surfer now! Going to book again when he comes back down.

2 hour surf lessons for my grandkids ages 14, 13, 11. I grew up surfing but knew a real surfing instructor was needed not just grandma. John was the instructor, he was great. The kids really liked him and never became frustrated, even though they fell off a lot. Because of the wind the surf was choppy so for the safety of the kids he brought an extra instructor at no extra charge I commend him for his concern for safety. All three kids were actually surfing by the end of the lesson. The kids loved the experience. I definitely recommend.

I scheduled three 13 year olds lessons not sure what to expect. John was absolutely great He timely communicated where to meet for the lesson and what to plan Brian was our instructor and he couldn’t have been more perfect! He was extremely attentive, thorough in his instruction and really worked hard to make it a safe, fun and overall fabulous lesson! This company truly exceeded my expectations and for sure we will be back for more lessons when we are back in town.

We absolutely loved our lessons with John and Brian. They were very easy to communicate with, and were very patient and wonderful instructors to my four children. They had everyone up surfing during the lessons and did such a great job of hyping them up and making it a super fun experience. We would definitely book again!!

I really liked it the class, the coach made me feel more touched with the water. I enjoyed surfing here it make me feel loved. They are so funny and great people to be around :)

We were so very happy with John and Brian. John did a great job with getting us all set up and Brian did the lesson. Our daughters and their friends had so much fun and all 4 were able to get up with different success rates. I would highly recommend them to everyone. Everyone was very helpful and friendly and the kids had a blast.

My son and his friend had an amazing time at their surfing lesson this weekend! John was a great instructor and made it fun for them. They were up and surfing in no time. They are now hooked!

My wife and I were doing a weekend get-away in Cocoa, I decided to surprise her with surf lessons. Both of us are complete beginners. I called Wave Masters and John set us up to meet near where we were staying. John was great and we had a blast!You can tell John has been surfing and teaching for a long time, and loves what he is doing.
