My Last Day at Cape Coral Technical College. I can not tell you how much this School helped me to get where I am Today. When I Was Scared, or exhausted or whatever the problem was each one of these people were there for me. I could always go in there office and pull up a chair and a box of tissues. I am not just saying this I Truly mean it if your thinking about returning to School. DO IT! Go in and talk to them. I can tell You I never felt more certain about my Decision as I did after going in just to get info. The lady I spoke with mind you I hadnt told her my interest, she told me. she said I hope your here for Cosmetology? I said Why do I Look that bad. after we stopped laughing she said no on the contrary you look like a Cosmo Girl. Awe at least I look the part could I do it and the answer was yes!!! And everyone of these people helped me. Go visit. They offer so many different Courses I never realized. I urge you today Go Visit The #1 COLLEGE IN SWFL! Cape Coral Technical College is Number 1 in my book. My son wants to attend and we are all for it. Get Up make the πŸ“ž it will be the best Thing you EVER DID FOR YOURSELF! #GOCAPECORALTECHCOLLEGE

This school was awful. They treat you like your in high school not college. Be prepared to hand in your cell phone at the start of class and no smart watches are allowed. Ask to see the employability criteria before signing up. It’s a joke. Go to FSW instead.

I attended the school in 2006 through 2008 and I can honestly say, my life would be so different if I hadnt!! I was in the Commercial Arts/Digital Design Course with Kevin Hawk, I have since risen to the title of Marketing Director for a Large TeleMedicine company, and now own my own Marketing and Design company. The school was amazing when I was there, and the very best part was the amazing lunch that the Culinary Arts program provided to the school everyday. From simply patty melts, to prime rib... it was definitely the best boost ever to get through your day. Several of my very good friends completed the course, two of them went on to Johnson & Wales and the American Culinary Institute, one of which is now a world class chef in New York City.We all owe a lot to these two programs!! Thanks to the instructors at Cape Coral Institute!

The schools site has raving reviews left and right pertaining to its programs. The customer service is awful, to the point where I no longer will consider giving my business to the school. Parents, if youve got children that youre thinking of sending to High Tech think twice about sending them there; theres a really good chance they wont get the attention they deserve in the form of a quality education. If the school cant even provide good customer service to an adult, can you imagine what kind of service theyd provide to a younger person whos interested in starting his/her career at the school? You get the picture.

Since the changeover to Cape Coral Tech, so much has changed. Love going to school every day. Staff has been so helpful and love the teaching format in Digital Design class. Fast paced, low cost and Quality Instructors.

I would just like to leave a little review of Chef Jack Elias and the culinary arts program. I did not have the pleasure of attending the school but i met Chef Jack through a mutual friend. After going to observe several of his classes I can assure you that he genuinely cares about his students and wants nothing but for them to succed in the food service industry.I also served with him on an advisory board at the school. The advisory board consists of the instructors of the various programs at the school along with leaders in the corresponding fields. The goal is for the instructors of the programs to learn what knowledge will be needed to help the students be best prepared for what awaits them after they graduate.I highly recommend anyone interested in the field of culinary arts to enrole in any of the classes Chef Jack Elias instructs.Just a quick note about myself. I am a baker/pastry chef of nearly 30 years and i have met many dedicated chefs and bakers but Chef Jack is near the top. Thank you for taking the time to read my review. And good luck

Wow! I dont know who these poisonous people are who gave horrible reviews about Mr. Gent, but clearly they have issues unrelated to his teaching skills. Maybe a vendetta about a grade they earned in his class? Who knows. My experience was completely opposite. Mr. Gent was always very professional. He provided tutoring one on one and in the lab as well. It is because of Mr. Gent that I passed the Certification Exam A plus and he placed me in employment so I can feed my family. Also the office staff were friendly and helpful.Thank you Mr. Gent! Your A plus in my book.

Attended in 2010. I dont know why everyone leaves such bad reviews, everyone here is extremely helpful. They all care, and all want to see a better you. Some instructors can definitely be frustrating, but people are people. I have, however, not seen instructors be out of line with students, as others have stated.

Terrible school. So unorganized and do not help you in finding a job. Literally wasted a year of my hard work and time for nothing. Do not waste your time and money by going here. Now i have a certification for nothing basically. Terrible.

I am current to start a full time. Start this week , Funny I had nothing but kindness in meeting my goals with everyone working in the front office :-) Maybe these bad comments are coming from the negative people who didnt follow through with there goals. I am doing this for my future and my daughters future to ensure she will have the thing she needs while growing up. I am excited to see how this semester goes I intend to learn the best I can , once again i have met with everyone in the guidance office on more than one count In fact several times they have insured me with the confidence I need to forefill my careeer. :;-)!

Absolutely horrible experience . Chef Jack Elias is an embarrassment to this school and as an instructor. He shouts, pouts, and whines when things dont go his way. For example, I was mopping the kitchen with a string mop after we had finished cooking all the food when Chef Jackass comes up behind me and screams, What the hell do you think youre doing ?, thats not how you mop a floor!. The chef then asks me if I was special which is not the right way a teacher should treat his students. He then grabs the mop and starts telling me to push the mop forward and backwards instead of side to side. Really ? Im sorry whos the special one here ? Last time I checked, when using a string mop you move side to side NOT forwards and backwards. When using a sponge mop however, you move forwards and backwards. Warning! some of the students in this program can be hostile as well. For example, I was using my phone to call my mom to pick me up so i could get to a doctors appointment in time when a student screams at me to shut off my phone. Personally, I dont think he has the authority to make such a statement, but whatever. I am through with the bullcrap, the negativity towards me and some other students, and the hostility from Chef Jackass. My advise to Chef Jack Elias: Quit this program now and find a place that would actually take you in . I know for certain that Publix hires retards, maybe if you apply there, they can show YOU the proper way to mop a freaking floor. Personal Note: the kitchen is filthy, they dont even clean the bottom part of the tables that they cook on and theres an occasional roach on the floor each week you come in.

First of all, Minerva is an airhead and -lost- my entire student file at one point (W2, court papers!!) and didnt know the answer to some financial aid questions I had (thats her department)As for the course, do NOT bother with the Computer Systems & IT course if Gent still teaches it. His knowledge of computers is very outdated and he is extremely disrespectful to other adult students. It sounds like White Aqua, Taylor Boggs and I were all in the same class =PEDIT: Lol, I got a great grade in the course. I am genuinely interested in computers and currently A+ certified. I was disappointed I basically taught myself the entire course through tomshardware and various tutorial sites. Many times I had a question for Gent he didnt know what I was talking about. He made it so i can feed my family lol really
