I’ve trained with Sensei Yoan since 2019. He is an amazing instructor and he is preparing me for the US opens. I am very excited to be competing in this high level tournament. Since I started training with him I have improved on my katas and kumite.

Sensei teaches two of my children and is fantastic with his traditional methods of teaching. I especially like the discipline that he provides. They are training for the US Open competition in Orlando and I am sure they will be successful with the preparation and techniques he has taught them. Highly recommend this school!

Sensei Yoan is fantastic. My oldest daughter has been a student for around 4 or 5 months and she loves it. She has really taken to the Katas, and with the training an support of Sensei she was able to take first place in her division at the Pan American International Karate Tournament in Miami in October 2019. She is getting a better feel for the fighting and starting to get over the fear of being hit a bit more each day. Sensei is supportive and she respects him a great deal. Bottom line, this is a great dojo, the traditional style is awesome, the focus on respect and discipline, is great and the art is truly respected. Sensei seems to genuinely want all of his students to succeed and it shows with each student he has. Anyway, I hope your child can experience Traditional Goju Ryu Karate in this environment as well.
