Tonight we had orientation for Grayson, I’ve never seen the look of love about kids the way I did tonight. The teachers were enthusiastic about staying late to meet parents. They are the most amazing people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. We couldn’t have been more happy with our decision to come to Wellington. They have become a part of our family. I recommend this place! I know the kids are loved and cared for. The kids don’t just play with either, at 3 years old they are signing songs I wouldn’t of thought, like the days of the week or months in the year. I could go on and on about the amazing things this class is doing. Please feel free to reach out to me and I’ll tell you how happy we are with our decision to come to Wellington!

My son and now his son attended Wellington. With five children I’ve seen my share of preschools and daycares. You won’t find one anywhere with teachers and staff as kind and caring as Wellington North. Excellent choice.

Our daughter started here when she was 1. We loved it and have never left, shes now in vpk and learns so much. When we had our 2nd child we obviously brought her here as well. The staff is amazing, would recommend to anyone looking for a quality daycare.

M daughter currently attends VPK and wrap around at this school. Since the new owners have taken over it has been downhill from there. They are only money hungry. They pay their staff low income & expect high quality output...but why(for teachers that are overworked and underpaid)??? Many of the good teachers have left & most of the ones thats there now acts if theyre afraid to speak up on the subject, due to possible job loss. They no longer have the initial accreditations from when my child first started over 1 & 1/2 year ago. their ranking have dropped as well. They also force you to pay for a full 52 week school year with no holidays as if you are a slave, everybody knows that you need a break sometime!!! I thank God that she will be graduating within the next month & my family will not have to deal with this matter much longer. I would not recommend others to this distressed school environment.

As many new parents know, leaving your children with someone that you aren’t all that familiar with can be difficult or uncomfortable. When we decided to enroll our son in daycare we experienced these feelings first hand. Will he be okay? What if they can’t get him to nap? Would they be able to give him the love and attention that we would provide? These questions and others swirled through our minds before and during our daycare hunt. We toured several child care facilities in the area trying to find the best fit, but our search quickly came to an end when we walked through the doors of Wellington Academy in North Cape. Melissa and Tammy were so welcoming and understanding of this new territory and we immediately felt at ease with our decision. This wonderful school along with all of the extraordinary teachers and staff truly feels like an extension of our family. Every teacher in each of the four classrooms that he has been a part of has contributed something different and unique towards his education and overall development as a growing little person. The learning, curriculum and play schedules are well balanced and we love hearing about all the new things that he has learned, how much fun he has outside on the playground, and we always look forward to seeing the artwork he has made. Two years later I can say with a smile on my face that he was okay; he did nap; and the staff at North Cape Wellington really, truly love him and treat him like he is one of their own children. Melissa, Tammy, Mackenzie, Rosie, Gloria, Mary, Michelle, Cassie, Mandy, Jen, Ashley, Vanda, Virginia, Patty, Mr. Mike and anyone else that I may have left out, thank you for all of the love, respect, encouragement, learning, fun and guidance that you provide and for taking great care of our child daily.

Love love love Wellington in North Cape! Staff is friendly and loves my child as their own. I transferred my son here from another facility and was completely shocked seeing them actually wash toys at the end of every day. Highly recommend!

My son attended this daycare for over a year. In that year there were many things that we were unhappy with. Each time these things were addressed with the Director of the school we received a Were working on it and only to find out there was no progress in those changes. Several days entering and exiting the building never getting greeted as a parent. Im afraid this daycare is surviving off of its name but not living up to its standards that they claim to have. The owner is extremely greedy more concerned with filling the classrooms and charging you for everything, constantly raising the prices. Claiming the price increases go to the teachers which is a LIE and explains why they have lost 29 teachers in a 2 year period. So many times we would ask about our sons items to only receive a deer in the headlights look from the teachers, Not knowing where any of his stuff was or let alone if he even brought it.At the young age of two, we are working very hard to potty train him and have explained this to the teachers and to not get ANY help while he was there throughout the day. Saying they just have too many kids. There is one toilet in the classroom with 22 children AND Carpet. If one child is using the restroom the others have to hold it in and wait their turn. There is NO changing table in the classroom for those who are NOT potty trained resulting for the teacher to change the students standing up which would also result in several times our son coming home with stool residue still in/on his bottom. They are concerned with illnesses and viruses and showing up at a specific time but teachers constantly changing in an out, toddlers being left behind when they are ready to move up or even all the bacteria a carpet in the classroom can hold doesnt seem to matter to them. The Owner has high expectations for this facility to be kept clean which is understandable but the teachers are expected to do this WHILE they are watching the children and that takes away from them teaching or loving on the kids. Their was a leak in the 2year classroom and the kids were moved to another classroom they never explained this to the teachers or looked into any mold possibilities being that the Florida heat and moisture could of very well developed it, instead they just pointed fans in that direction to dry it out.- As the kids to go outside and play the teachers huddle up and chit chat instead of supervising or playing with the kids. So many times I see kids standing on tables and piling up on slides colliding with other toddlers. This facility makes you pay per month and if you cant, you can pay bi-weekly but will end up paying more. Towards the end we were inquiring about the vacation time, which he would get after attending there a year. We needed to use this now that our year there has passed. Once I called to inquire how it works, I was then told they are NO longer offering it. [Even though being the contract signed with it stated he receives it after a year] The owner did away with this. I was told I received the new enrollment packet that stated this, in which I DID NOT and instead of the office being FULLY aware of what papers were needed from each parent they acted as if it was our fault. The security is great as far as gaining access to the building and some other things. I by no means am writing this out of retaliation or anger but to only inform each parent WHAT they are in for as they are considering this Well known childcare facility. Little do they know what to really expect until after they have spend thousands of dollars. Such a disappointment, breaks my heart.

I love my sons school!! My son is 4 and had only been in daycare once for about 3 months prior to starting at Wellington. My husband and I wanted to keep him at home as long as possible because trusting someone else to care for your child is hard right? Well we did research and found great reviews for Wellington...no wonder why, they are WONDERFUL!!! On 3rd day of school the staff already new my sons name, they are all so sweet and kid friendly, the teachers are spectacular, its always clean, I could go on & on. My son has learned so much in just 3 weeks, its incredible and he LOVES it! If youre worried about leaving your child in daycare, please trust me when I say Ive been there and understand and this is why I wrote this review so that any parent who feels this way reads this and gets a glimpse of hope. Wellington Academy is the greatest!

You will not find a better place in the Cape to care for your child. I am extremely picky when it comes to the care of my daughter. I tried out two other daycares in the area and wasnt happy until I found Wellington. When I toured the school, I was surprised at how peaceful and calm it was. I didnt hear a lot of the crying, tantrums, yelling, and chaos that I was used to hearing picking my daughter up from the other centers we had tried. The playground has fun stuff for the kids to play on, plus it has that rubbery ground so that if your kid does take a spill, they dont require a trip to the ER ;) I love that this place has its own chef. Chef Mike is great with the kids and he specially makes their food everyday. Wellington is very clean (another picky requirement of mine). My daughter was in Mrs. Haydee and Ms. Ashleys class. These women are wonderful. I never worried about my daughter while she was going to school here. They treated her like she was their own child. This school is about $20 more per week than most of the schools in the area, but that is nothing when you consider the quality of care and education, plus peace of mind. I was motivated to review Wellington tonight because we recently moved to Denver and there is nothing of this quality, in this price range, out here! At any rate, thank you Wellington!

Had both of our sons there for over 5 years. They care more about how much money they can suck out of you than the care of the children. I asked numerous times for daily reports on my 2yr old which never happened - no one could tell me if he napped, if he had a BM or if he ate lunch when I picked him up. Staff changes over on a regular basis, couldnt keep track of all the new teachers names. So disappointed with this facility.
