Great School!!! The teacher really care and the communication is awesome. I got an e-mail every Monday from my sons teachers last year. I have 3 kinds and moved from Miami 3 years ago so my children have gone to middle school in Miami and here (Mariner Middle - my daughters & (Challenger - my son) and I must say Challenger has been the best by far. He is in 7th now and Im looking forward to another wonderful year!

I went here all 3 years and I loved it. It was a great experience for me. I am now a sophomore in high school and the teachers really did prepare me for what I needed.

Our son who has always been a borderline c average student, has received A-B honor roll for the first time in his academic career. The teachers have been so great and i cant wait to see whats in store for us with the new school year coming up.

Im in the middle of my eighth grade year at this school and it has been an outstanding school. The music department is also one of the best in the county.

Not Happy at all with communication from the school to the parents. Having to call and follow up constantly as to where items to be sent home are located. Then to find out after paying for stuff you never receive it. They say oh well its to late now. Has been the worst school my son has gone to as far as getting help from staff. I am thankful we will be leaving this school for next year.

As a student at challenger middle school the school such as after school activities and academics, but the school is not a Bully free environment but is not i got picked on in 6th and 7th grade. In 8th grade in kinda stopped but someone asked how much were my shoes because they were a bad brand for middle schoolers. Also i was absent for a couple of Days and we had bell work on the google class room...My teacher gave me a D for it because i didnt do this is unfair because i had a family emergency out of state because i couldnt bring my chromebook. I couldnt change it because it was the days report cards were being printed. And their was a assignment to be sent electronically but my computer didnt send it and I tried to explain to me teacher but NO I got 1/2 credit which brought down my grade :( Also the school makes students who get lunch detention have to clean the whole cafeteria which violates the child labor laws. Not to mention the quality of the food one time there was mold in my pizza, the milk was expired, and my gogurt was spoiled. Not to forget that the school REUSE the styrofoam trays which is a very bad health hazard. Adding on to the bullying part i got bullied and told admin and nothing happened until i told the schools resource officer which helped me handle it. To be honest teacher who have been hired have criminal records. I suggest before sending your child to here or any school to check the school out and read the reviews since a lot of students or parents write them to warn other parents about that the school.

This is so ridiculous!!! My son he is an 8th. He cant actually go to his graduation because they need 3.5 or above for asist. Every kid deserve to go even if there score its not the best. They have so many stupid rules.And also the lovely science teacher Mrs. RAVIOUR she call my son Dumbass and other bad words refer to my son in front of the class, obviously I report that.But this Challanger Middle is an awful school.Teresa the Secretary an d Mr. Curls the assistant principal they are very nice other than them no one.

This school is ok its not the best but its ok. The teachers are rude sometimes.

Challenger Middle school is an interesting school. In the past year we had 3 kids from just 7th grade get sent to ISS. Im not positive about 6th and 8th grade though cause Im not in those grades. There are cliques that the kids can get into. Examples are the emo, cool, popular, and awkward kids that dont talk to each other except for awkward to emo and cool to popular. But, the teachers are awesome except for the art teacher Mrs. Rayanic who doesnt give two craps about you or your grade or your situation in life and doesnt care how it affects your grade. Mrs. Canaddy is a good principal for the most part but Mrs. Trust the guidance counselor doesnt really care about you or your problems either.

Average school some teachers nice some are mean if angry but overall i give it 6 out of 10 but one problem is bullying
