I have been training here for 6 years and throughout that time I managed to test and pass my 1st degree Black belt test. The process was difficult and challenging but I didnt give up and it taught me discipline, persistence and a whole lot of other things. I would recommend coming to train here.

Superstar Karate is such an amazing facility. They take great pride is what they do. They also go above and beyond to make sure the facility is clean and sanitized to make the families feel at ease about coming there. They have amazing communication skills as well. When you email or text they get back to you quickly and always have an answer.

Superstar Karate has many safety protocols in place, and also offers Zoom access for all of their classes. Whether you need to get out of the house and do something active or prefer to train from the safety of your home, they have you covered. The instructors are fantastic, very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Their program goes beyond self-defense and physical training, they have a system for self-development that will challenge your children/family to develop good character in fun and thoughtful ways.Superstar Karate offers trial packages that are very reasonable. Literally nothing to lose and lots to gain.

Our family love Superstar karate Academy. They do great job with kids by teaching them karate but also helping them to get better in the school too. If you are looking for the great Academy with awesome and dedicated instructors this is the place, no doubt! My daughter is member for about 8 months and I can see huge difference and how much she improve since beginning. She comes to class 2x a week, and she loves it. Classes are so well organized with lots of learning, mat chatting, but also with lots of fun for kids. The Academy runs like one big family, and it is always ready to help children with any struggle that they might have. They teach much more than karate, and during the class and mat chatting instructors always have interesting story to tell, teaching children to be respectful, to be grateful, and much more. I highly recommend Superstar karate!

We first experienced Superstar Karate through our 10 year old son, watching him train for a year. We saw sincere, caring instructors that took a lot of time with each student, challenging each person to do their individual best and be proud. About a year later they had an offer for parents to try out Superstar Karate and we took a class with our son. We had so much fun and felt so good physically that we enrolled ourselves full time as well. Now we are all looking to test for our first degree black belts soon and couldn’t be more pleased with this school’s service, dedication, inclusion, instructors, skills, and character education. They are truly another family to us and have been a big part of allowing us to improve our health and fitness while enjoying quality family time and learning valuable skills.

My 3 boys have been at superstar for over 6 months. The staff is very professional. They teach the kids good values that they will use through their whole lives. I love the mat chats where they pick a topic example be respectful, be grateful etc. and they teach the kids what they mean. They have missions every month so the kids can put into practice what they are taught during the mat chats.I highly recommend superstar karate to anyone who is looking to get their kid into a great karate program.

It’s been a slow start for our kiddos but after 3 months, I’m seeing such a positive change in our two boys. More respectful, more focused and actually exercising (as they practice their karate). It’s been a great experience so far and the boys love coming every time. Staff wise, the team is amazing! The teachers really take an interest in each and every student, the desk staff have gone above and beyond making sure the memberships can fit in our budget... I would highly recommend to any parent interested in getting their kids into karate!

Our daughter started at Superstar Karate three years ago. She was so happy when I joined her on the mat a few months later. We are both training for our 1st degree Blackbelts. My son has been a student here for a little over a year now. He loves the instructors and classes so much! As a parent, I really like the positive encouragement environment of the classes and the programs (missions) they give the students to complete outside of class. When my son started to ask for Karate class we had a conversation with some friends and we choose SuperStar Karate. We still have a lot of expectations to help us to build a good and responsible person and this is a perfect place. They have a life philosophy that matches ours thoughts. My daughter has problems with focus, listening, following directions, blurting out whatever is on her mind, staying still, balance, among other issues. I wanted her to try karate to help teach her discipline and focus. Super Star Karate was recommended by her school. My daughter is a handful, but the instructors are so patient with her. Superstar Karate, from the moment we walked in they were very welcoming and warm and very all about the kids. They take the time to make sure the child feels welcomed. When they are on the mat they make sure each child is understanding the movements and making sure they are doing it correctly. I love when they sit down and talk as a group about being greatful, or bullying etc. I am looking forward to seeing my son succeed in this location and what he can take away from it.

My son has been with the Superstar Karate family since 2017 he has changed so much and has been able to focus more in school and his karate class. Superstar karate is amazing! My daughter has been training there for a little over 3yrs, watching her grow has been absolutely amazing. Shes patient, motivated and goal oriented. She works hard and you can see that shes proud of herself and honestly theres nothing better than that. The environment is positive and the staff are very welcoming and informative. My son has attended karate here since November 2018 and loves it! The staff is super encouraging yet firm, hes got a great outlet for all of his energy, and all-around behavior is improved, since when not at class, he has missions he can work on at home. My granddaughter started at Superstar karate in October of 2016. She was a shy, timid 6 year old that was being bullied at school. She is now into her fourth year and has just blossomed through this whole process. She has gained so much confidence and has found her voice. She loves karate and all that it has given her. She is preparing to take her Black Belt test and I love seeing the confidence in herself show in her actions.The staff and instructors at Superstar karate welcomed us into their family with open arms and the journey has been an amazing one. The success of their students does not end when they leave the mat, it is carried into all aspects of their lives. They have built a program that incorporates parents and school teachers so the expectations are the same across the board. The instructors are always available to discuss any concerns you may have or accomplishments that your child is proud of. They have developed a wonderful character building program that students are encouraged to participate in. A lot of this character development is through helping others within our own communities.Overall, there is just not enough good I can say about the Superstar karate organization. Superstar Karate is definitely the BEST karate school around. I have a 5-year-old in the Dinomites program and she is thriving!Prior to becoming a student at Superstar Karate, my daughter was extremely shy and introverted. She refused to participate in any program if I wasn’t right next to her. Fast forward 6 months ...she has completely come out of her shell and is bubbly and so excited to participate in classes. My husband and I have seen such a remarkable change in her that we are actually switching my eldest daughter from her current karate school (which she has been going to since she was 4) to Superstar. Every single instructor is amazing here. Strict but fair—which is exactly what I want for my children. I have always been treated kindly and with respect by the entire staff.The life skills learned at this school are priceless not to mention the friendships we have made and continue to make.Definitely 5 stars (and then some)!!!

My son started at Superstar Karate about 6 months ago. This has been a great experience for him. He gets a great workout in every class and learns something new every time he comes to class. They have many instructors at every class to provide some one on one guidance to learn the different techniques taught in class. They also have mat chats during every class to teach kids about being responsible and disciplined in their lives. He has a lot of fun at Superstar Karate! During every class he gets to work with a partner which is great for learning social skills.

Joining Superstar karate was one of the best decisions we have made. We initially signed our daughter up thru the dynomate trial program (4 years ago). We didnt really know what to expect but wanted our kid to try something different. It quickly became clear to us the positive influence this place had on her. All of the instructors are always willing to help in anyway they can. They treat students like family which is a big part of why we like this school so much. Fast forward 4 years, we are both enrolled in Superstar karate and well on our way to earning our black belts.

They made the changes needed to keep everyone safe. They did an amazing job teaching on line and encouraging their students.We love superstar and we are glad to be back in person safely.I am so glad my family joined Superstar Karate. They don’t just teach karate they teach character traits. It has been awesome to put my kids into a class where they teach the same thing we teach at home. The staff is amazing and caring. They work with you on your level. I cant say more good things about this place. I originally signed my kids up for karate here years ago and it just wasnt the right time for them. I loved Superstar Karate then, they make you feel so welcome and it really is a no judgement zone here. You are accepted exactly the way you are. I loved this environment and is what prompted me to come back here when I was looking to sign my son up for karate again. He said he wanted to join karate and I immediately thought of Superstar karate. It was a perfect choice. My son walked in and the instructors even remembered him from years ago when he was a dinomite (under age 6 and my son is now 9). My son loves it and it helped and is still helping with behavioral issues he has. A couple months into my son being in karate I decided I wanted to join with my daughter. I absolutely love it and so does my daughter. Its become a family bonding time for us which is so important to me because I work a lot and am very busy being a single parent. This brings us together, helps relieve stress from the day, and is teaching us valuable self defense skills. Superstar Karate also instills good moral values which will help children (and adults!) be respectful and caring to others. Its a very well rounded program that shapes you to be the best version of yourself. I highly recommend and am so glad I found Superstar Karate.

This karate school is exceptional by far. The owner, staff members and class assistants are all highly invested in ensuring your child receives proper attention. Their guidance and supervision are top notch. Continuity is key at this school. There is a great deal of following up to ensure a good end result. Moreover, recently, our little one has been trying to work on improving certain patterns. Lately, after class, the owner will check in w/our family to see how our child is improving. He has shown our entire family a genuine concern for our sweethearts improvement. What a positive impact that has made!

Great establishment! My son started the program about a month ago and absolutely LOVES it! The classes are so full of energy and fun, he never gets bored. I will admit, at first, I was against it. I felt it was too expensive, it looked like it was taught by children, the classes seemed overcrowded. My son really wanted to go, and it took some convincing, but we signed him up after his father and I talked about it. I will never regret that decision. My son is learning so much more than self-defense and his moves. He is learning about discipline. He is learning about focus. He is learning about how to be responsible, making no excuses, how to be self-disciplined, being giving of himself, being a good student and friend. The value is there, and I do not regret my decision or the expense. The teachers have all been amazing, and it is so much more than you would get at a park district or even in other schools.I sincerely recommend that if you are interested in enrolling in karate, that you give it a trial and really ride out the trial. Go the maximum amount of times you can and give it your all. Arrive early and talk to parents and talk to the kids. It is an amazing family-based, family-focused organization! We have been there a year, and my son wants to go all the way to black belt status still.

Superstar Karate is an excellent martial arts school. The classes are always filled with different drills each week that keep the students interested and active. They do a great job of making fitness and life lessons a part of each class as well. The instructors and assistants are very proffesional and very willing to help the students succeed. It a fun family activity to do. It helps me with all of my character traits, such as modesty, and telling the truth. I like that the instructors get to know you and your family. They also have a big sense of humor and tell jokes during class. SuperStar Karate makes fitness fun.

Excellent Karate studio! We tried others but this one is the best. The curriculum is perfect for my under 10 year-old, providing character-building work as well as karate skills.

This school caters to both children and adults and uses specific feedback and any accommodations necessary to encourage success in their students. Their character education program- complete with instructor explanations (“mat chats”), goals and action items to complete based on a specific theme (“missions”), and a true witness to the characteristics we want to instill in our society-is second to none! I love that this school also makes instruction fit the individual needs of each student. It’s been a great 2 years at Superstar Karate with my family and we’re excited for many more!

I have been a student of Superstar Karate since they first opened their doors. It is an amazing place learn learn martial arts and life skills! They are understanding when your life suddenly changes and you need to modify the way you train. I feel like they treat everyone like family! I couldnt imagine training anywhere else!

Ive been here for 6 years almost, and it has gotten a whole lot better from the start. All the staff members think of what they can do better for the students, they always greet you and ask you how are you doing and they really do care. I have so many heroes from superstar karate because they always look for ways to improve. Training here I developed patience and manners something I really needed as a child. The staff and C.I.T members including me try our best to help the students, there are some challenges but they never give up.

We have been attending for about 9 years now.1 adult, 2 teens. Started when the boys were only 6.Great program building self as well as body and spirit.Great instructors, assistants, and fellow students. The school embraces social media for communication and tools as well.Highly recommended.

Weve been taking my young child here since October. My husband joined as well. Theyre now both on the verge of getting their orange belts. Theres not anything I can think of to complain about -- great place! I think this is increasing my sons confidence.

This is a very supportive karate school. It feels almost like a family because the instructors care so much about the students, and they help students care about students. They make classes fun for kids and adults, and encourage leadership among the students. Leadership Team is an amazing way to get your child thinking about how to be a stand up citizen and positively contribute to his/her life, family, and community. This is one of the best schools around to keep your child interested in becoming a black belt leader. My son joined reluctantly, but is now a green belt and taking the leadership classes. It has impacted him positively, and continues to do so.

My son started at Superstar a few weeks ago and attended special events there in the past few months. This is my first experience with karate and I didnt know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the kids are taught karate plus life lessons that will help my son be more confident. Originally Karate was an interest for my children and in a very short time I too was interested in participating with my children.The Instructors are superb. I particularly enjoy the Mat Chats and the life lessons that are being taught. For as long as I have known Superstar Karate it has been a wonderful academy with the best instructors I have found anywhere. Our son joined SuperStar Karate in January 2018. We immediately noticed improvement in his focus and responsibility during karate, at home, and in school. My daughter went through about 4 years here at Superstar Karate and achieved her first degree black belt. It was a great experience for her, because its more than just learning karate. She was constantly learning different ways to sharpen her character, yet at the same time was learning how to be stronger and able to defend herself. I felt right at home when I walked in even though my daughter hasnt been there in a few years!! And she has been thinking of coming back for her 2nd degree! Keep up the good work, you are not only building more confident students, but also building people of good character which is a wonderful thing to strive for.

My granddaughters have taken karate lessons at Superstar Karate, and it was the highlight of my week to sit along the sidelines and watch them! As a teacher, I especially appreciated the discipline and respect the instructors at Superstar Karate expected and received from their students. They have a talented demo-team that performs at various public functions, too!

I like the karate program. My son loves to attend and participate. I have no issues with the instructors or the classes. My main issue is with the office portion of the company. Half of the time we go to graduation, my son is not listed not on the sheet. So he doesnt get his certificate that day. Also Ive ordered equipment and it takes a standard 6 weeks to get, but I ordered shoes and waited the 6 weeks and still got no notice that the equipment had arrived. So I went into the office and they told me they never ordered the shoes. I already spent the $100 and now Ive got to wait 12 weeks to get them. This disorganization happens time and again. The office need to find a better way to keep records, or communicate, or both.

Superstar Karate teaches so much more than just karate. The instructors (who know you personally) teach life lessons. Respect, responsibility, trustworthiness, caring, fairness and citizenship are not just words at this Academy. The katas (forms), kicks, strikes and self-defense come naturally as part of each lesson taught.

My son just finished a 6 week trial here and we had no doubts about enrolling him afterwards. I was hesitant to try karate because I didnt think my 3.5 year old would have the attention span, but I am incredibly impressed by the patience and expertise of the instructors in working with young children. They take the time to greet him personally at each lesson and turn beginning martial arts into a fun game, where they arent only exercising, but also learning invaluable lessons about respect and discipline. My son cant wait to come to each class and it is priceless to see the smile on his face as he comes to class and improves with each lesson!

My son has been going to Superstar for 6 years, he absolutely loves it! The staff at Superstar treat him as one of their own and have taught him so many useful lifetime skills. These lessons have taught him how to attain goals, persevere, respect others, how to be kind, etc. In the process of learning valuable lessons, he gets to have fun and exercise! We love Superstar Karate, and hope other families can enjoy as much as we do!

Great school. The schools instructors do a fantastic job. Teach more than martial arts, teach a lot of life lessons. Would highly recommend this school to anyone considering martial arts.

We are members at Superstar Karate and the kids LOVE it!! GREAT instructors, promote good discipline (extends to the home), kids are recognized for their work and dedication. Classes are fun and keep kids focused.

Superstar Karate provides a family learning environment where all ages can be on the mat together. The instructors truly care and invest a lot of time into their students. Focus is not only on the martial arts skills, but on character development as well. My children have learned how to introduce themselves to other people, how to deal with bullies, and how to be all around better people. Sometimes communication is a bit lacking, and there are occasional inconsistencies between instructors, but overall a great family place to get some exercise and learn new skills.

One of the best karate schools you could find. My family absolutely lives this place, and Ive learned just from watching them attend class. They enjoy it so much, and I would love the chance to attend after I finish college.

My daughter (then 6) was interested in trying some extracurricular activities. I saw a Facebook ad for Superstar Karate and decided to do a 6 week trial. She loved it so much that she asked us to sign her up for a year! The skills she has learned, not only through martial arts, but life skills, have been truly remarkable. Over the summer, the academy allowed parents to train for free, so my husband joined her on the mat. He has also now signed up along side her to continue their journey towards earning their black belts! I love that the students are taught integrity, teamwork, and dedication. It’s not just another place to perfect your sport, it’s a home away from home!

I have been blessed to have been re-united with the Kifer family! Im a single mom and my two daughters look up to both Jason and Adam as positive male role models, which they are missing from their lives. The atmosphere is so positive and healthy. My girls jump out of the car before Ive even placed it into park, to run into Superstar Karate! Both my daughters have more pride, self confidence, self esteem and are generally more happy. Superstar Karate is our 2nd family. Everyone helps everyone. All around positive fun loving atmosphere that all kids need to be apart of. Both my girls have even improved taking on their own responsibilities, especially with schoolwork. As for me, the self defense tactics and strong knowledge used at Superstar Karate have become useful within my work field. Not only do they work but I have the self confidence, and high self esteem needed to protect myself when situations should arise. Highly recommended for everyone!!!!!

Ive known the Kifers for years and have been to many events at Superstar--they and the staff are friendly, helpful, and interested in their members progress and satisfaction. They care. And it shows: in how the Academy is maintained and designed, the staff chosen to teach, messages and issues handled promptly, and the smiles received when people enter the school.
