We are so pleased with this school and staff! We started here last year with Kindergarten and will continue on - our child loves this school and the staff. Shes learning so much and has so much fun - they do something exciting every week it seems. The teachers and administrators are so supportive and have been extremely responsive. Highly recommend.

This school has been amazing, especially with the changes implemented by the new administration. The classes are smaller than in the public school setting, so the teachers are really able to differentiate instruction for struggling or advanced learners. I would recommend this school to everyone who asks!

I was there for 7 years but still dont remember anything about it, no one talks to each other and not many memories were made. It had some of the best teachers and was tons of fun.

We are so impressed with the staff at Chesterbrook Academy and are very happy with our childs experience there. We love the small class sizes, and individual attention given to each child. The teachers are also some of the best quality people around. The relatively recent change in the Principal here brought with it an even better experience than wed had in the years prior. We plan to stay with Chesterbrook for the duration of our sons elementary school. Also looking forward to the development of their middle school for the years beyond that.

This our third year at Chesterbrook. The school is very academic based and we love it. Parents inputs and concerns are heard and acted upon. The new administration and new principal Ms Soto is very involved and hands on. The administration and teachers are amazing and dedicated. New changes have been made by the principal to respond to ever changing demands of the parents and school academics. It’s a close knit school and we feel our child is safe here. The school now has additional buildings which were completed this year. Great school!!

The teachers we had were great but the administration of this school a complete disaster. High turnover, no management skills, and the important selling points of the academics changed at the whim of the principal with no input or compensation (such as destroying the specials offerings promised during enrollment). Technology teacher quit, so they decided to remodel the tech lab instead of replace the teacher, no tech lab the rest of the year, (rather than remodel during summer). Not quite sure how you can teach Spanish twice a week for a year and the students learn nothing. Literally my kids retained more from one day using Duolingo. The promised schedule of personalized assessment and learning for the students NEVER HAPPENED. The principal would change his mind, literally multiple times a day, on programs or procedures. The location and parking and carpool are a nightmare and they are putting portables in the field to expand the school, and taking.up the field. You will not get whats promised and its pretty high tuition for all the b.s. you have to deal with. The corporations objectives are first, and they cut all the corners they can which will hurt your kids programs. The assistant principal left so they gave her office to the receptionist, and didnt replace the assistant principal. There was no one to go to with issues except the guy ruining the school. This man won PRINCIPAL OF THE YEAR for the ENTIRE CORPORATION across the country, that is disturbing.

My daughter loved this place when she was a toddler. That was about 14-years-ago. Seems like the quality has gone down since she left.

If it were possible to score a 0 stars I would. I adore many of the teachers but the administration is horrible. Revolving door of principals with no assistant principal the entire year. Significant additional turn over and other problems.

Chesterbrook was a part of both of our sons lives for 4 years. Every teacher we had at the school was wonderful and will be remembered. We are very thankful that we found Chesterbrook when we first moved to Cary and would not go back in time and choose a different school. Although teachers change year after year the leadership has continued to work to always put the best interests of the children as the top priority and this had shown at the school throughout the time we have been there.

We recently transitioned to Chesterbrook in January from another private school in Raleigh where our son was a victim of bullying. What we discovered was that bullying seems to be pervasive everywhere regardless of the school, etc, but what separates Chesterbrook is the systems, policies and people they have in place to deal with any situation that may come up. This starts with the leadership at the school where weve found Mr. Whitt to be fully involved and engaged in the school. He truly cares and it shows each and every day! This also starts with the teachers and the rest of the team at Chesterbrook. There are no weak links on the team. Everyone is on the same page, cares about each and every child and treats each child equally and fairly regardless of gender, ethnicity, religion, income status and whether or not the students parents work at the school. We are so glad (even relieved) were here. We feel like we have our son back!
