This is the first year we have tried Graceful Expressions. We love it! We were looking for an outdoor activity for our two older kids to participate in. The communication and overall experience so far has been wonderful.

Graceful Expressions Dance Education has worked tirelessly to provide quality dance instruction to my 6 and 4 year old. They put on a spectacular individual recital experience last June and have continued to offer safe dance classes outdoors and online, which my girls look forward to. Our dance lessons have provided a regular social and physical outlet during a time of great uncertainty and we are very grateful. I can’t say enough about the wonderful dance instructors who provide grace and good technique! Everyone is wonderful with young children! We have also throughly enjoyed summer princess dance camps and their annual father/daughter dances.

My daughter has been dancing here for 6 years and has loved every minute of it! The teachers are professional, but also kind and supportive and really get to know each dancer. The dance companies have also been an amazing experience and given her the opportunity to learn a lot of new skills, including choreography. We love how the dancers are encouraged to use dance to make an impact in their community. During COVID, the studio has been so thoughtful in continuing to provide dance in creative, but safe, ways, including outdoor and online classes. If you are looking for a warm, nurturing dance studio that also helps dancers reach their full potential, this is the place for you!

This is my son’s sixth year and my daughter just started. The teachers love and care for my kids so much and believe in every child. April is wonderful! Graceful Expressions is so much more than dance and is a wonderful community. This year we have enjoyed small in person classes as well as online classes.

My daughter is in her 4th year of dance at this studio. We love them so much. She has grown in her love for dance because of the time they take with the dancers. This year has been especially difficult for us as a family and this studio has gone above and beyond to make sure my daughter can still dance. We have moved 45 minutes away and still drive to Cary one night a week for dance.

My daughter loves graceful expressions! The class sizes are small and the teachers are extremely engaged and supportive. They made lots of adjustments to safely accommodate dancers during the pandemic and continued to provide a social outlet for my little dancer.

One of the bright lights of the past few months for us has been finding Claras wonderful dance studio, Graceful Expressions. I first learned of them because they were doing a unique outdoor dance exhibit which I thought was a great way to still allow their students to perform during the pandemic, and Clara had been asking about dance classes so I gave them a call. They were amazingly accommodating as we tried out about 10 different classes to try to find the right fit, and now Clara eagerly looks forward to her weekly contemporary classes, which are offered outdoors, virtually, or in-studio depending on what we are comfortable with. It has been so great. To know that even with covid she can look forward to her class has been such a happy reassuring feeling! And they do the coolest, most creative work during class, including incorporating writing (her favorite!). I loved how the studio worked with a local nursing home to move their holiday parade outdoors to still celebrate and honor the residents, and then we were so touched when just before Christmas an ornament was hand-delivered to our doorstep by the studio. We are so glad to have found Graceful Expressions!

My son has been dancing at Graceful Expressions for four years and he absolutely loves it! The teachers are so encouraging and really care about the students.

We moved from FL to NC last summer, and my (now 4 year old) daughters biggest fear was not having dance or not liking dance anymore.She has been welcomed and loved it here from day one. Im so glad this was the first local place we found for her. During the first class she had, the owner (I think?) wrote us out a list of the best local playgrounds, ranked!

My two oldest daughters have been students at Graceful Expressions for over seven years now and its been a wonderful experience for them and for our family. All of their teachers (and I think weve had them all at some point) have been great and really care about the students they teach. I love that they provide not just technical dance education, but also instill a love of dance and movement, develop self-confidence, and provide a supportive environment for the kids to grow every year. The end of year dance recital is also a high point and something they work really hard toward all year. The last few years the recital has been at the Cary Arts Center which gives the kids the experience of dancing on stage for a large audience.

Graceful Expressions is an extraordinarily creative and nurturing environment for every level dancer. My daughter attended a birthday here years ago and since she has hosted a party here, attended summer camp programs and taken classes. The shows they perform to highlight all students and dancers are choreographed masterpieces! The owners and staff are not just invested and devoted to dance but to our community and our children. Five stars simply does not express what a rare gem this studio is!

I have had the privilege of being involved with Graceful Expressions since 2011. I must say, I have never been involved with a studio that has such a caring owner and teachers. Ive been going here since I was 5. Almost 7 YEARS ago! Its great and fun and exiting and Mrs April is SO nice!
