Cary driving academy made learning how to drive such an amazing experience. The instructors were so kind and did such a wonderful job teaching me the ways of the road. All together becoming a safe driver was fun, stressless, informative, and a great experience.

I took the class in August and did my driving in September. The class prepares you very well for the NC Permit test and gives you all the knowledge to be a safe driver. I loved the flexibility for the three driving classes and Melody does her best find a time that works for you. They make you feel comfortable while learning to drive and help you get better each day. I highly recommend this driving school because of their good communication and quality teaching.

I had a great time learning and driving. The 30 hours of online learning was very educational and entertaining. During the 6 hours of driving I felt like I was in a safe and comfortable environment which makes driving all the easier! She definitely prepared me for the road!!!!! Would recommend 5/5 experience!

My daughter had a wonderful driving experience with Melodie. She was calm, encouraging and didnt push her past her limits. We had to reschedule due to my daughter injuring her ankle and Melodie was very accommodating. She also was very helpful with getting the correct forms and information from the NC driving school where my daughter took the classroom portion, which was a horrible experience. I wish we had done the classroom portion through Cary Driving Academy as well as the driving portion.

I liked how nice the teacher was she did job of making it fun and making me less nervous about driving she was easy talk too and great at walking me though how drive while on the road.

The driving instructor was very comprehensive and stresses safety. She also was friendly and the entire course was enjoyable.

Cary Driving Academy has been incredibly helpful in my our Sons driving skills. We had the pleasure of working with Miss Deborah. She was patient and consistent which put our extremely anxious son at ease. I can say without a doubt our son would not be driving without her help. The Schools communication has been wonderful, I would recommend to all new drivers.

This academy ran a high quality program with friendly instructors who taught information in a superb fashion that was meant to not just help you pass the test but to actually be retained. During my class session I had an issue with some paperwork in the DMV that restricted me from driving and the school stayed in contact with me for 8 whole months just to make sure they would be ready to get my driving completed with them as soon as everything cleared up. Cary Driving Academy was the best possible experience I could have imagined for drivers education and I cannot recommend this academy enough!

During the course of the class, the teacher proficiently taught us about the driving rules and safety. I enjoyed to class and the teacher is very nice as well.

Cary Driving Academy was awesome!! Excellent communication-we were provided everything we needed and knew exactly what to expect. We had to travel from the coast and it was well worth it! I very much enjoyed taking drivers ed here because it worked with my school schedule (the class was on saturday mornings) and was both fun and educational! also compared to other public school drivers ed programs i was able to get my certificate much faster using cary driving academy.

Instructor Debby 🤩 was amazing I’m a former student driver she was amazing with communication and instruction also advice, she won’t put you out your comfort zone, she’s has great vibes she’ll talk to you , She will fix what you have problems on. She will get you ready for your or your children driver test. Great experience!

This was a really great experience for my 15 year old. Classes were informative. Well developed curriculum that is very relevant to the exam. Staff is helpful and supportive through the driving portion of the class Very honest in student assesments. Realistic expectations and goals through out the entire process. I can not say enough kind words about this company. I feel very safe letting my teenager take the wheel after he completed this course.It is worth the money and it far exceeds the in school driving class options offered in Wake County Schools. 5 stars. I enjoyed taking this class. I found it very stress free and they did a great job of making the experience enjoyable and fun!

My son said that the course was very informative and engaging - yes, his adjectives to describe Drivers Ed! Melodie manages to make the content interesting and the pedagogical delivery interactive. Visiting lecturers round out the program, providing firsthand accounts, which textbooks/handouts simply cannot provide. As parents, this is one of the most frightening milestones we face. Its comforting to know that there are professionals like Melodie, who can reach them without preaching to them. My son feels prepared and secure in taking the next step, and I feel that he has been very well informed of the tremendous responsibility that awaits him. On a logistical note, wait times for the mandatory 6 hours behind- the-wheel instruction are very short and a schedule is arranged promptly. Many thanks again!

Wonderful experience and very prompt on communication. Our daughter had great experience learning driving skills and get her behind the wheel certificate to get her learners permit. Scheduling was very easy and they work around her school and other after school activities to get her spot as quickly as possible. We were very impressed with the effort and service. I highly recommend this place for your teenage to get the requirements done to get the learners permit. Dont waste your time to wait around for school and Jordan Driving to give you schedule as they are backed up way too much, call Cary Driving Academy and they will get you spot as quickly as possible although they need permisdion from Jordan Driving, which takes over 10 days.

Very easy to learn to drive didn’t feel pressure to be perfect. They made it feel very easy and ok if I messed up.

I did multiple lessons at this school and have left feeling incredibly more confident with my driving abilities. The teacher is calm and helpful and brings new challenges when she feels you are ready. For anyone looking to get ones drivers license, this school is an excellent way to learn.

Fantastic experience for my daughter. Melodie was pleasant and fun during the classroom portion and an excellent instructor on the road. My daughter is well prepared to get her permit. If she struggles, we can buy some additional instructional time but I doubt that will be necessary. I wanted my daughter to have her behind the wheel with a woman and this worked out well. Feel like this was a much higher quality experience than the classes offered through WCPSS. Highly recommend.

My son took driving classes with Melodie at Cary Driving Academy...and she was an absolute pleasure for us to work with. She was a great teacher whom my son says was really patient and thoughtful. He said it was really easy taking the classes with her and that she was fun to drive with. My experience scheduling and paying was very easy and I can very highly recommend this driving school. I have another son who Im intending to also send here this coming summer as he prepares to get his license. I believe theres a lot of value having driving insights and guidance from someone whos a professional teacher, and that can provide objective direction thats not from a family member. If you work with these folks you will be very happy, satisfied, and come away with learning to be a better driver.

My oldest son just finished the course with Melodie. He learned a lot, and was engaged in the class all week. He said it was a very great experience. During the driving portion, he was nervous at first, but quickly settled in and was comfortable. By the end of his three days driving, he was hitting areas I didnt think hed do that first week out on the road. We were very pleased.I also liked that we can get the class done in one week, and the driving portion done in a second week (3 days). We didnt have to wait more than 2 weeks to do the road portion....so much better for our schedule than two weeks of classes, and then waiting forever for driving time. Well definitely be going back for our second son.

Melodie is the best driving Instructor. I was out of touch with driving when I moved to North Carolina. She made my driving skill sharper by giving me small tips to use whenever there is confusion while driving. I will recommend her 100 % for Adult training also. She will definitely make us a very careful and best driver suited to the roads abiding the law.

3 Words sum up our experience: Quality, Stressfree and Professional!My daughter just finished her 3rd and final 2 hour driving session and has completed the 30 hours of class room training through Cary Driving Academy. She had an excellent educational experience! Melodie does an amazing job teaching the kids and she really cares about them learning and being the most prepared for driving. There are no hours of reading from a textbook in this program. She makes it very interesting. They have guest speakers, including a Trooper from the highway patrol. The 6 hours of driving instruction is 1-1. The whole 2 hours was dedicade to my daughters learning. Which is not the case at other driving schools. Melodie is extremely easy to work with, especially on scheduling the driving sessions.After having spent a frustrating summer trying to get into another driving program through our High School, I am so thankful that we found Cary Driving Academy. Thank you so much Melodie, we will see you when our son turns 14 1/2! #WorthEveryPenny
