BEST SCHOOL IN THE WORLD! Teachers could care less about what grades you are going to get, and focus more on helping the students who dont get the subject for the day... I get it, teachers are trying to teach over 1,300 students in 7 hours. Otherwise again great school and GREAT students.

Great place to go to. My kid goes there and he loves it. Although middle school is tough keep in mind that most of these reviewers are currently in middle school

The school is pretty nice. It would be better if they let kids go to the bathroom when they need to. Also, everyone is crammed in a 7 foot wide hallway with only 4 minutes to get their stuff and get to class..

Teachers (principals) dont give the students chances to redeem themselves or even care about the students in general, except for the ones they favorite. I asked if there was any way I could earn my phone back and the principal laughed at me and said you arent getting it back. Smh.

This school is academically good, and also the teachers are nice and ready to help.

First of all, nobody needs ur dumb opinions students if your going to write a review then at least put some thought into it. Secondly, DDMS is a great school academically and the atmosphere is great. So stfu guys and leave if you dont like the school.

Its a really awesome school. The teachers are really cool.

School isnt fun anymore. They try to make every class as boring as possible and then try to give us homework at the end. We need to cram everyday for test and quizzes that they know no one is going to use any of the skills that they taught to them in their everyday lives. That pretty much means we are wasting our lives when we could be going somewhere educational based but hands on and fun. Test are pointless and grades only cause stress because kids are always looking for that A or B in every class or else they will get ridiculed. We could be spending this time actually looking for something we would want to be as an adult but instead we dont know what we want to be because everything that we thought was fun in early middle school or 6th grade has been getting more boring and uninteresting over the years with 8th grade being the most boring. Fix this please and getting rid of things like recess only cause more kids to get ADHD and ADD. Fix cafeteria food from just getting reheated and spoiled and FIX CLASSES.

DDMS is awesome and the teachers can be mean if u piss them off but if ur nice then they are really nice. and people think it is boring but its because people cant do some things like bottle flipping, the teachers are chill and the let u go but if u keep dong it they will give u a punch.

Me and all my friends think the dress code here is way too over protective. guys can get away with wearing w*ed socks but we cant get away with showing our shoulders ?? is that really going to distract people from learning? people are here to learn, and we think honestly teachers and ms. Meyer stares at us more than guys do. we also find that uncomfortable that they are prevertedly staring at the back of our shorts and everywhere else. ms Meyer also goes to the extremes of crouching under desks and lunch tables while we are sitting down and staring at our shorts and that is uncomfortable for all of us. also we have had guys look at us and dress code us. We arent doing anything wrong by showing a little skin which everyone has. I feel uncomfortable having teachers staring at me in that way. especially when there are people who dress much worse.

Cant believe this Principal is still in charge of educating special needs children. I think its time for us parents to write the accreditation association for this school and alert them to the significant issues going on under the direction of Williams. They should lose their accreditation .

Davis Drive is a pretty good school! I went there from 2014-2016! It was the BEST public school Ive been school! I wish I were there for 8th grade though! Anyways, the teachers are somewhat nice, but they are like that to keep you focused! During the time I was there, I found out that the 6th grade teachers arent as good as the 7th grade teachers, but that depends on your 6th grade team. The campus teachers are kind and they are always open to you. Some teachers act really strict and act like they dont like the students, but they do that to make their job serious and make it so students can learn. The bullying situations are not that serious. They always get resolved and I rarely saw anyone getting mistreated. As for the food....well, whats to say? Its cafeteria food! LOL! Smart Block isnt such a great idea to me because they never really do anything in certain areas, such as in the cafeteria, kids are working when they are actually playing on their phones. I miss DDMS so much and to any 8th graders who are here 2016-2017, I LOVE YA!!!!

Scoring a school over dress code, or racial matters is not super important. How about school lunch, at DMS is a disgrace. The school is so dirty that the kids are used to see roaches all over. Every time my kids arrive from school, backpack clothing all STINKS badly. Im also so sick to hear, Wake Co. this and bla bla, Yes Wake County is the worst. PTA dumb at it, how about keeping a clean school. Education is average and super clear, remember is the only national certified in Cary but they still have budget issues, so stupid all.

This school has a major janitor issue why make us clean it if its the janitors job it is a couple of crumbs we have industrial vacuum cleaners. it is an unsanitary school one star
