Two hour party with 288 people. Everyone had fun. It was a good night!

This is my home rink. The owner cares about the state of Semoran and works hard to make it a better rink. He is super friendly and one of my good friends. He loves all his regulars and wants to create a fun and safe environment for everyone. I love the staff so much! I love the atmosphere. For newbies, you wont feel cramped as the rink is quite large and they also have a bigger practice rink than most rinks. I recommend adult night Sundays.

This was our first time here and my children had a blast!! Good music for the whole family. You can have your Birthdays party here. We will definitely be returning.

Went to an all skate with family and friends. Music was great, events were fun. The highlight of the day though was the staff, they were friendly, knowledgeable and willing to help. I had an issue with my personal skates. They helped diagnose the issues and had the parts on hand to sell me so I could get back out and have fun.

We attended a birthday party here and had a wonderful time. The staff are friendly and the facility is clean. I wouldve appreciated more instructions on how things work for our first time. Theres a room full of states where you help yourself, which Id never seen before. We struggled finding sizes for the little guy. Hopefully this isnt the norm and they have more staff after covid?Were coming back for classes and then for family nights when school starts. Definitely a great place for family time when indoor activities are needed.

We had a party there and our girl shianne did ah ma zing. She went like above and beyond and decorated our whole room for us. She helped me make are balloons. We never ran out of drinks or food. She was so nice and really really friendly. I told her every time we come to have a party here now we have to have her. You guys need her as your party girl.

Employees were very respectful. I didnt get any disrespectful gestures or responses like other places when you ask something that is common sense to them but not to us customers! I highly recommend this skate rink to friends family and strangers only reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 is because the price on food is ridiculously expensive for kids

I had a great experience here buying my skates. Bill was very patient with me to find a skate that worked for me. It’s been 5 months now and I’ve been very happy with my skates.

I have skated all over the country, this is one of the biggest rink floors I have seen. The atmosphere Its very pleasant and there was a lot of good skaters. My only complaint is that they dont have speed skate rentals and that they need to get new wheels for the rental skates they do have. I was sliding a lot. But other than that I love this place and will keep driving 2 hours to come back!

Came in on a Sunday with my daughter and was pleasantly surprised. The music was on fire (DJ Vincent) and the whole atmosphere was energetic fun. I havent been skating in forever, but I will definitely be back. So much fun for everyone.

My son and I love Semoran Skateway. It’s something we can do together and both enjoy. It’s clean and everyone is so nice. The skating school I really good too.

I really wanted new Riedell skates but they were sold out everywhere. I went to Semoran Skateway and they actually had them and in my size. Miss Toni helped me pick out my new skates! She was super patient and answered all my questions. Great customer service and selection of products!

We usually visit Semoran Skateway when its a school skate night and its always been a pleasant experience. The kids love it and cant get enough of the place. Recently, we visited, and a friend slipped and hurt her wrist but the staff were really kind to help us and offer to have the manager see to the situation as well. I found that thoughtful. When you call them, they are ever so courteous and kind.

I love Semoran skateway. I regularly go on Tuesdays and weekends when I can and I always have a good time. There is a little rink for beginners to skate helping to make learning less daunting. Employees are diligent about keeping the floor in great shape. The skate shops employees are wonderful, knowledgeable, and aren’t just trying to sell you a pair of skates. The regular skaters are kind and skilled.

Well, I came with my daughter during I guess teen night. So that should say a lot. But it wasnt too bad. A fight broke out on the floor, they handled it immediately. I liked the fact that they had an area where you can practice your moves. Whether that be dips, spins, or in my case backwards skating. My 4 star is for the fact that they did do a lot of stopping and slowing down. One reason was for the races (which I always find fun and interesting). They did again for backwards skating (where Im from they announce that its for backwards skating only and those that cant just exit the floor until its an all skate again), and a couple other times. Overall I did enjoy myself and do did my daughter (who is learning how to skate). I will try their adults only skate when I have a Monday off from work.

Super fun. They recently changed a few things so if you’ve been going here a while just be aware, but overall the changes that I’ve seen are for the benefit of everyone. You can’t bring in outside food or drink so just be aware to leave your water bottle in the car. There’s a designated place to eat and you can’t take drinks out of that are (it takes like 15 mins to clean up a spill off the skating floor so you know) but other than those minor inconveniences the rest is great. Fun music, fun events like races, slow skate, fast skate etc. you can rent inline skates too.

I cant bring in my own water bottle, even during covid. And I have to pay for my children they arent skating. The service of a skating rink is skating. If one or two of my kids dont want to skate, we shouldnt have to pay for that. Children 3 and under are only free with a paid adult, even if that adult isnt skating. Makes no sense. And theyre implementing a spectator fee soon for parents who have to supervise their kids.

Clean facility, friendly staff, reasonably priced concession stand and games. The floors are shined to a mirror polish, and the skates are well maintained and sanitized regularly. All in all an excellent skating rink.

It wasnt bad it just had no walls to stabilize on so I didnt feel comfortable as a intermediate roller skater. Im not sure if it was because it was adults night or if its always like that but the lack of walls and the rental skate area which were unmanned and with the possibility of using someone elses recently used skates without disinfection and cleaning really put me off. I did not have a bad time there were just some issues

Would like to say thank you to the owner and his staff. Customer service is amazing! Floor gaurds are friendly and the pro shop always is there to help.Often times people take time to only complain and I wanted to take this time to say Thank You Tony, was a pleasure meeting you the other night as we purchased another set of quads! We love what you have done and will continue to be a part of your family as we roll around and jam to the music .The fun begins long before we show up knowing we are going. Please know the enjoyment you provide for our family is something we continue to talk about even after we are home. After 2 full hip replacements, this exercise is the best thing I could ask for.After last weekend, our 16 year old daughter woke up and the first thing she said was. Are we going skating tonightThanks Tony. I had an awesome time with my friends but there was this referee who was extremely rude! Instead of helping you up when you fell he decided to scold you. People pay their money to have a great time, I did not appreciate that type of attitude! If he hates his job then he needs to quit!!!! When I tried to talk to him about it, he decided to ignore me.

Staff was actually great for most of them being under age or at least they looked like they were. The place is a bit outdated and the skating area needs some work. This is the first skating rink that I have been that didnt have walls surrounding the skating area.Food was not bad and they actually had prices that were good, not trying to over charge you for a frozen pizza that cost a couple of dollars at the supermarket.Only problem is the skates room. Is small and crowded and of course smells like a school gym. In case of an emergency it would be difficult to get out of there. But my major concern and disgust was that they did NOT sanitize or do anything once you returned the skates. Actually the room were the skates are is a open room you just go in there pick the skates leave your shoes in the cubby and away you go. Same when returning them you just put them back and before they are even cold someone else is putting them on.Dont expect to find a can of Lysol anywhere unless you bring your own *HINT*HINTIf you are not going to skate is better if you sit at the snack bar because seating around the rink is limited and to be honest dangerous LOL i saw a kid fly from the rink into people sitting area nearby thank God nothing happened except for an elderly couple being scare to death. The kid just got up and kept tumbling around.If you have your own skates bring them and if you dont bring a pair of socks and throw them away after you are done unless you bring your own Lysol lolBut I have to give it to them there prices are great for being in Orlando they dont overcharge for being in Mouse country so thats a plus.

Great rink. Well kept. Separate smaller rink for beginners and people who want to practice tricks or moves without getting in the way of other skaters. Its really a vibe

The Semoran rink has the best skating experience, on Adult night ... Sunday night is always 120 to 140 people skating there..Definitely our Favorite place to skate....

Saturday mornings are so much fun for the kids 12 and under. I love taking my grandchildren there and they love going.

Fun place to take my daughter. It looks a little run down, but theyve made improvements, and theres a nice family atmosphere.

Ive been going to this skating rink for a few decades now. I absolutely love it. They have a decent snack bar also and a skate shop un which they are very knowledgeable to help you. Definitely recommend checking this place out

Went fir the first time on Sunday and was very disappointed. It’s a hassle to get in because you have to sign a waiver first then get checked to make sure you have signed it then you pay to get in and then you have to have your skates checked. Then they have next to nothing for the slower skaters they have the slower skaters stay in the middle of the rink making it hard for them to get on and off the rink because the father skaters are on near the floor.

Great place to go for a day or night with the family. We had a fun time skating around. It definitely is tricky at first after not skating in so long though. They have a beginner area towards the backside. We took the kids there and let them practice the whole time. They do have pretty tightened skates to help kids not fall as easily but only up to a certain size. My son was super wobbly and had issues staying up. My daughter on the other hand had the pre-tightened skates and was smoother at not falling.. lol! They have great pizza too. We got a pizza to share and a pitcher also. Id totally go here again!

Lots of people on a Tuesday night but it was fun even for a beginner

My husband and I went here on a Saturday night for a date after dinner. The employees were very nice, happy and willing to help. The rental skates were of good quality and the bathrooms were clean. There were people of all ages enjoying themselves. This looks like a good spot for my kids birthday party. I would recommend this spot to anyone!

Doubtful I will ever return. I have skated here for about 40 years. Being forced to show identification just to enter is unacceptable. The floor is in horrible shape and filthy. Just trying to get in the door is a completely disorganized frustrating mess. It feels like it is being run by a group of smug lawyers. We had some issues with a birthday party this past weekend and the GM came across as as condescending and arrogant. It seems as if the majority of the staff has been replaced with a bunch of kids who dont seem to really know what they are doing or care.

It’s upsetting to have to write a negative review but here it is. Since January 15, 2021 we have purchased 4 pairs of skates = $750, had a birthday party = $350, paid for Saturday morning lessons for the WHOLE family since January 16, 2021 = $120 plus we have come to adult night with not just us but had friends meet us but for our cost alone = $150 not to mention good and drinks. Worth every penny of the over $1370.00 in just under a month but today... We are disappointed that we purchased an outfit for the 4 year old that yes, was on consignment, and yes I get that it isn’t new. But, less than an hour after purchasing it we realized there is a hole the size of a quarter in the mesh part of the arm and asked if we could return it because it’s damaged and we were told “no” sales are final. Again, I get the outfit isn’t new but it’s damaged, it was less than an hour since we purchased it AND we hadn’t even left the rink yet. A negative review and not making a customer happy over $25 when they have spent a good amount of money at your establishment, is pure greed.

The skate shop is great! I bought my first pair of skates here! (SG Rock GT50) sellers are knowledgeable about skates and they have a lot of products. The rink is great also but there’s too many times you have to exit the skate floor for games and things which cause much less skate time, which knocks a solid 45 minutes off your skate time here. but it has good room and isn’t too busy.

What TERRIBLE SERVICE tonight!! The new girl in referee t-shirt comes to me after 10 minutes on the floor and tells me that I needed toe stops so that I dont damage the floor with my metal plates. I get it. Never have our skates been checked when entering so fail on your part. The best way to have handled the situation since they singled me out, was to bring me two toe stops and kindly ask me to use them and then return if I were not able to purchase them for $10 dollars. Why mess with my groove after entering the dance floor!?? Now, I have been coming here since October and have roughly spent close to $300 dollars coming every Tuesday, my wife and two kids. Not sure if Ill come back since this, but losing steady business like ours only causes a ripple effect in these uncertain times. One has to ask if these may be reasons why small businesses fail. Just bad service :(

The music is amazing at this skating rink and the best part is that there is a mini rink in the back for beginners. I drive 35 minutes just to get to this rink when I have one 10 minutes away.

I really really wish I could give ZERO STARS.A friday night open skate was a HOT MESS. No one wearing a mask and no one enforcing. Over 200 people in the rink and in the beginners rink as well. The advanced skaters were constantly tapping my back to push me and making comments I was being too slow. The halls were soo crowded there was not a moment I was even 2 feet away from someone. I spent $12 for admission and skates and frankly thats all they cared for. How can someone learn to skate and find a new hobby when newbies are looked down on and faster skaters push them down. Its sad to see a rink ive been going to since middle school has turned into this money scheme. Money > quality rink time.

This review is specifically about the skate shop. The staff that took care of me were incredibly sweet and professional. They are knowledgeable about their products and provided me with all I needed to get going as a new skater. They went out of their way to make sure I was taken care of.If youre looking for skates do not hesitate to visit this shop. Awesome people, and Im so grateful I found them.

I grew up in this rink with my sister and our friends. We still skate here and now bring our kids to make the same memories. Semoran is dear to my heart, that will never change.

Discriminatory lady at the front desk. She wanted to check our IDs no problem. She could have asked me to remove my mask for a second and verified my picture as opposed to having me yell my address out in public and having to explain why the address on my ID wasn’t the same as the one we had on the waiver. Flash News - we are visiting from out of state.It is not your job to verify my address. Or is it? Or has it become? You could have just compared the picture on my ID to my face and be down. No?What is more? When we came to the same place a week ago, no one asked these questions. So the “standard operating procedure” changes every week?And kids under 4 need to wear a mask to enter the place? When clearly there were so many kids not wearing a mask in front of our eyes!Discriminatory, arrogant, and zero courtesy.

Me and my husband decided to do something different tonight. I been wanting to go to a rollerskate for quite sometime. When we arrived, the place was packed with kids and adolescents (which is fine). However, about 80% of the people in tha place werent wearing a mast at all!How is that following the CDC guidelines?!The employees werent even addressing this issue either.Skates arent being cleaned either.I wonder if the health department stop by what would be their excuse?!

This is definitely my favorite place to be when Im not busy. The rental skates are pretty darn decent! It tends to get very crowded on weekends though and no one wears a mask while on the rink. I know its really annoying, but please try to wear a mask as much as you can! I unfortunately caught the Carona virus back in July after thinking skating without would be safe. Its really not worth it.

Went above and beyound to help me pickout and buy skates for my girlfriend even though it was super busy. They also helped put on a set of outdoor wheels for both sets of skates and offered a ton of advice.I didnt skate there as I was just there to pick up a gift but the place looked clean and of course I cant say enough the staff was super helpful and friendly.

Beware! The owner of this rink is physically abusive towards children! Watch your kids at all times and keep them away from Carlos if you decide to skate here. I used to love this place as a kid, but after hearing about how a young man was disrespected and physically assaulted by Carlos, the owner, because he was wearing a hat, I will never return to this rink and will encourage everyone in my very large circle of family and friends to never give them their business. The man was addressed and treated like a child even though he is 20 years old. There are other rinks in town that respect and appreciate all customers - regardless of age. If Carlos ever put his hands on me or my child the way he did that young man, hed be in jail for assault. Hes a criminal with serious psychological issues.

The experience was great but one staff member I recall name being Reggie was very Inappropriate towards he even offered me to go to the back with him I felt Uncomfortable n I told him I was a kid but he didn’t seem to listen

They didnt allow my kids to use their skates because they used them outside with the pretext they would damage their wood! Not really caring about the kids safety! And the cashier was unwelcoming and rude!

Came for a party. They followed Covid restrictions well and it was a ton of fun. Its the skating rink as you always remember it to be.

My husband and I have been coming here for over a year. Everyone is polite the music is great and we highly recommend this wonderful skating rink.

Great place for a family night out. They have games, food, and a smaller area for beginner skaters. The place is large enough that when theres lots of people you arent bumping into others. Its also clean, well lit, plenty of parking, and lots of places to sit. I definitely recommend!

Id give a 5 out of 5 for overall service, great skating school program where my little one is learning to sjate and learning to teach, they are also following with current CDC regulations. My only concern is though I am a paying customer, everytime I come in early morning rushing to make a 9am Saturday class or after work with tea/healthy food (which you do not serve) im forced to through it out. Should be fair and flexible if you offered tea and vegan healthy options for food items, Id gladly spend money there too.

If only they didnt play such dirty and inappropriate songs in the presence of children the place would be better. Also it isnt very beginners friendly as they dont offer trainers. Ive seen kid after kid fall to the ground without anything to hold onto. Its pretty and way less crowded than Astro but it sure needs to improve.
