When my son was in kindergarten, he had a hard time learning to read and was placed on a school read plan. Nothing seemed to help or click until we found Kumon and Leo. He is now ahead of grade level in Second grade reading, we couldnt be happier, Kumon has been a blessing! We will be sending both of our younger children as well.

Leo has gone above and beyond for our daughters Ava and Brooklyn. Weve seen so much improvement with the two of them. They are both doing wonderful in math at school now. Leo always stays in contact with us and makes sure to adjust lessons when needed to ensure our girls continue to grow and succeed. I highly recommend the Kumon Math and Reading Center of Castle Rock.

My 9 year old has been doing so/so on his math throughout the years but as we went to the first parent-teacher conference for the school year last fall, I realize he was not doing so great and I knew his potential could be so much more, I wanted him to excel and enjoy Math as his dreams of being an engineer requires loads of numbers. If he did not enjoy math, how can he later?He was not thrilled about the idea of having to do more homework on a daily basis but I took him to the Kumon center in Castle Rock and after the initial visit he told me how much he liked Mr. Leo and how he could possibly enjoy it after all..Its been about 5 months since he has been in the program and right before the new year, I received an update from his teacher complimenting how much progress hes made in the last few weeks. My son even came home one day and said Mom, I got moved to a new math group in class and guess what? Its the smart group!. Hearing those words made me realize that this program is working for him and I only hope hell continue on this path. I can tell he is more comfortable with numbers, has more confidence on his math homework from school and passes his math assessments with higher scores than Ive ever seen.It does take a lot of persistence from us parents to motivate to get the daily worksheets done. We certainly have our good and bad days but Kumon has been great and my son really enjoys going to the center on the assigned days. Mr. Leo has been great and I know he truly cares about my sons knowledge. Thank you for everything Kumon!

My daughter had been struggling in 3rd grade keeping her math grades up when she enrolled in Kumon. I liked that they tested her to confirm her level of knowledge before starting the program. She has been at this center for the last four years and her math grade has improved to the extent that she has an A in advanced math at her school. This program keeps track of her progress and she doesnt move on unless she is proficient at each level. Her math school homework has become much easier over the past few years as a result of the program. Kumon has been a fantastic addition to my daughters education! Leo Alvarez is always willing to help with any problems and truly cares about the progress of his students. Were having a great experience here!

My husband and I have had our 1st grade twins in Kumon for 16 months now, and it has made a HUGE difference in their confidence and understanding with math. We have seen how Leo and the Kumon program have begun the process of building a very strong foundation for learning for our boys, and how that will benefit them as they progress through school. Math is something that many, including myself, struggle with. We wanted to give our kids the best start in their educational journey and Kumon is the answer for our family! Building a strong foundation now while they are young will make their school days more enjoyable, and give them the confidence they need to take on any task they are given at school. They are far better problem solvers, better students and better at math than we anticipated, even at just 6 years old. The program is affordable, enjoyable and most importantly, EFFECTIVE! If I could give Kumon - Castle Rock more than 5 stars, I definitely would!

Leo is great with the students. Our sons math skills have sharpened since enrolling in Kumon. We cant wait to continue progressing.

Our 8th grader has been attending Kumon for 8 months now and his confidence and understanding in math has increased significantly. Math has always been a challenging subject for him and Kumon is helping to close some of the gaps that developed in the early years and is building up the foundation he needs for high school math. Math is going much better for him this year at school and we are seeing that in his grades. Our only regret is not getting him started in the Kumon program sooner!

Different than traditional tutoring, Kumon students focus on self-learning enabling them to learn for the long run. The Kumon method continuously builds self-confidence and stamina steaming out of individualized learning plans designed by the Instructor.Our Kumon center actively fosters an environment which respects them as individual learners. Its amazing what students can accomplish when we empower them - and parents - to achieve their full potential.

My daughter is 13 and has been doing Kumon for just over a year. The results have been amazing. When Kumon tested her it was found that her foundation was weak. They started her at a level where she would start to build that foundation and she has soared ever since. She will be ready for high school next year and beyond. Kumon is highly recommended either for students that need some help catching up or for the over achiever that wants to get ahead!! I plan on keeping my daughter in the program through high school!

My son is 10 and started Kumon about 8 months ago. He used to hate math now he loves it. I feel like Kumon is giving him more confidence and making him a better overall student. I am so grateful it has made a huge difference!

We have a very positive experience with Kumon and my daughter who is in 2nd grade enjoys working independently. Mr. Leo is a wonderful instructor and is very enthusiastic about the work he does and this makes the difference. I highly recommend this center.

My kids started Kumon a little over a year ago and it has made such a difference with their math grades. We have had nothing but a positive experience and Mr. Leo is wonderful about keeping parents informed of their child’s progress. My only regret is that we didn’t start earlier with Kumon!

When we first started my child hated math. Leo worked with us to find a way to change this. Now nine months later my child is at grade level, even his teacher has seen a huge difference.We went here for math help instead we got help with so much more. Using this program has taught my child how to handle distractions. How to put effort that has great rewards

Kumon has been a wonderful experience for both my kids. They have made tremendous strides in math and most importantly it has helped build their confidence.

Leo has worked with our 2nd & Kindie girls for over a year and we have seen huge improvements in their math and reading during this time. Leo is very patient and understanding and helps to challenge and encourage them. The Kumon methodology starts at the very basic level, this provides the kids a way to improve their skills and confidence while filling in any missing gaps they may have had.

I want to take some time out today and write something about Kumon. Kumon is been the best thing that has ever happened to our family. I have three children going to see Leo and his team at Kumon. May children have been able to test out of certain classes in special ed because of it. Not only have my kids learned and are starting to excel but I’ve also learned that this program is not just for your children it’s also for the parents to teach us how to teach them. So thank you Leo and to your team for all of your support and everything that you have done for my children and my family we don’t know what we would have done if we would have never came to you. We have learned a lot in a little time that we have been there I’d like to say it’s been a little over a year and all the growth that I have seen in just a little bit of time has been amazing so thank you again to you and your team for all of your support and everything that you do for us. In closing I would like to thank you separately Leo for not only being there for my children but also being supportive and what is happened this year. This has been the best thing we have done for our 2nd and 4th grader. They have made a 180 degree turn in their math. We are signing them up for their reading!! Go in and get an evaluation done..you will be shocked at how well your kids will enjoy this work.

I homeschool my 7th and 9th graders. We had been using Saxon for years and I was pretty happy with it. My kids were competent in math - but they didn’t love it. Then I met a kid who kept saying math was his favorite subject and that he wanted to be a mathematician. I asked his mom what she had done to him to make him say that. 😀. She told me that she had always used Kumon as his math curriculum. I decided to try it as our curriculum and we’ve all been very happy. They get a lot more practice on concepts and for the first time FEEL very competent in math (in spite of the fact that they have always scored in 90th percentile on state standardized math tests). There is no more complaining about doing math. They spend less time each day on math than they did with Saxon but are learning more and faster. Kumon is set up so they are teaching themselves and we all enjoy that. Leo is very professional and caring.

We have had our 2nd & 4th grader in Kumon at this location for almost a year now. Our 2nd grader was behind in math and is now exactly where he should be. Our 4th grader was quite far behind grade level and is now closing in on where she should be. Best of all, she is now confident that she can do math! Thanks Leo!

I go here and this place is fun but they have to much homework but I like it It helps me to get better grades

Was skeptical at first but I can definitely see my daughter progressing in math and reading, glad we made the decision to enroll her into this excellent program.

It was OK. My daughter started feeling a little uncomfortable around the man that runs it and we had to stop due to financial reasons.
