My son has been at South Ridge for 4 years now and he LOVES it! Ive had nothing but a great experience with South, despite many of its negative reviews. My son was identified early as an advanced learner and the teachers have done everything within their power to challenge him. My e-mails are always answered promptly by whomever Ive contacted, whether that be administrator or teacher. If they cant answer my questions, theyve referred me on very quickly and Ive always gotten the answer. They truly do their best and they really never get the kudos they deserve. You must try this school and you must ignore the blah-blah-blah about test scores. The kids RUN to school because theyre so happy to go. They run out happy, talking and playing with one another regardless of age. Really, I love this school and respect all they do for kids.

Where do I start...? Well South Ridge has been been my school since kindergarten and when I first got to South I looked at everyone and I was afraid to speak. But than people started coming close to me. And we became best friends! South has been with my every step of the way when my dad passed away I got extra attention & when I got bullied I told Mrs. Carlson, THE BEST PRINCIPAL EVER, and she fixed the problem with no hesitation! The teachers there are amazing they help a lot! And I also love the after and before school activities! But the sad part is Mrs. Brink, THE BEST ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL EVER, is leaving.😭 And I hope South grows and I’m happy to be moving into 6th grade! P.S. I recommend this school A LOT!💕🙂
