Took and finished medical assisting with the then director of MA and she always had a very unwelcoming demeanor. Lots of favortism and seems like they favor the screw ups over the good students. Plus they gossip about you amongst eachother so be prepared for that.

As a graduate of three programs from Mayfield College, I can say that it was an amazing experience. They have one of the best instructors in CST in Mike Borja. Always available and willing to help. Gets to the why everything works the way they do. The instructor for the Business Office Admin course in 29 Palms, Daniella La Rosa was amazing. Highly energetic and very well prepared. The support staff is friendly and ready to help with all of your financial and career needs. I have also been hired to work on the Computer Support Technician staff. Mayfield College is a unique college and opportunity to not only get your education, but experience as well.

Mayfield College, in my opinion, is the best college around. I started off taking classes to obtain my high school diploma. Sam, the teacher for that program was such a big help. I obtained my high school diploma within a month. I took the Medical Assistant course, starting off with Recquel Ruiz, finishing with Monica C. Each teacher has their own teaching techniques for the medical assistant program and they all have one goal in mind which is to see their students succeed and graduate. I must say, the staff, the program, and the atmosphere is phenomenal. I couldnt have asked for a better school to attend. The teachers actually take their time to help the students and care about the students succeeding. The school provides tutoring if needed as well. I have never seen such an amazing staff work so well together than the staff at Mayfield College. I am honored to be a 2018 graduate from there. I highly recommend this school program.

My experience at Mayfield has been great since the start. I really enjoy this school and I love how the staff is all about the student. The education you receive here and the support from the experienced staff can open many doors for your future. I am now in Nursing school, but I can honestly say that my journey through Mayfield helped me get to where I am today, I am a better professional thanks to this school.

Just started here and I was told my night classes would be from 530 to 9. My teacher leaves 20 to 15 minutes early every night. She never does hands on with us. That last 20 minutes could be used for lab. She never shows us one on one. She makes the seniors help us one of them was like I dont even know how to do it so I can I teach you. Its not hers its Sanchezs fault for not taking the time to show us all. I wish I had went somewhere else. If you do sign up here, ask for a different teacher.

The 29 Palms campus is awesome!! As a combat vet and retired Marine I took the 10 month course when it was offered in 29 Palms. I graduated and went to work immediately making more money than in the corps. Dan is awesome, the staff is real friendly and the Director is combat vet himself. The course is free to active duty. It also gave me a chance to meet other veterans in the area. I pop in an out of there just to say hi every now and then. The 4 month accelerated course is great!! I transferred Benefits to my son who took the course and we plan to open our own business together. Who would have thought little 29 Palms could offer something so big!! Go by there and take a tour. there in the old Hollywood video building on the corner of Adobe and Buena vista dr.Reynold

My experience at Mayfield Medical Assisting was AWESOME! I learned a ton from Mr. M and Monica in placement helped me get a Medical Assisting position at an AMAZING doctors office in Rancho Mirage. Special shout out to the staff who went out of their way to make my time at school great. Although it can be challenging, I can honestly say that I love my job.

I went to Mayfield in Thier Computer Support Technician program. The instructors are all extremely knowledgeable in their perspective fields, my Teacher Micheal Borja has 40 years experience and has owned several businesses in the IT industry. I obtained a job immediately after graduation and am now working for the college as the Computer Clinic Coordinator! I think this is a extremely good investment in our careers and money well spent!

Potentially Illegal and certainly unethical Educational/Business Practices : My Instructor gave zero in class instruction. Sat on her i-phone all the time. She coached and allowed students to change test answers to they could get higher scores and achieve honor roll which boosts chance at more desired externship sits and eventual employment. Instructors and Career Service Depts. work together to present clients (hospitals, dr. offices, etc.) with students with falsified credentials (grades/abilites) who then get hired. Extra credit was offered to those put a good review up on Yelp, Google or Facebook to improve ratings/scores. Many did temporarily then removed. Some still up. I made complaints against my instructor and others at the schools and she was terminated, as well as the Director of Education resigned (or was fired depending on who you speak to). This place is a scam and the education you receive is not worth the money spent and does nothing to help you achieve employment once the courses are complete. Jobs presented started at $12 an hour after you complete their course. Less than what I can make on my experience already obtained. False Advertising. No lap-tops or i-pads given. Make you sign a waiver and give you a check for $300. I have documentation to verify all claims made in this review, plus more.Look at all the reviews they are having staff and students put up after my review/disclosure. Still doesnt change the facts of what they did or make them creditable or make it a good school. The Director of Revenue former Admissions supervisor used to work at the defunct criminally charged and closed down Corinthian College that was taken down by the Attorney General - K. Harris back in 2013. Well now people like that are working at places like this one doing another variation of what they know how to do. Work the system for easily given educational grants and loans and disregard the individual(s) who are working to make better for themselves and others. As of 2016 this place rakes in 5.5+ million a year and 98% of it government grants and LOANS that are expected to be paid back, yet their programs are whatever is below worthless. 81.9% of their collection is paid in salaries according to data reports online. Way over the national average of 30%. So Hello: RED FLAG!! So they have money to pay people and to make things happen, or NOT happen. Also the Owner is on the Board of CAPP - an entity that works with and lobbies for and to protect these types of for profit educational facilities. Probably why the CA Bureau of Post Secondary Education, BBB, CA Board of Education, and other governing entities are turning a blind eye to all of this and why they are so confident and cavalier in their wrong-doings and nefarious behaviors. They bring in the money, despite it being in a reckless and destructive to those who are a victim of these places/people. Appalling at minimum.

I graduated in June of 2015 from the Massage Therapy class, after I finished my course they hired a new instructor, I loved my instructor and I heard the new one was just as kool. I looked into furthering my education in massage as well as Holistic Practitioner and found out that I really didnt get all the education I needed in the Massage Therapy class. Now I am going to take continuing education classes to further this so I can incorporate this into my already established business. But I am a Mayfilianette 4 life.

The 29 palms campus staff is extremely helpful, knowledgeable and above all caring, Mayfield Stacy is Awesome!!!!! The school has two programs HVAC and Computer Support Technician, both fields have a high demand and excellent salary. The best part about this college is the follow thru, meaning after i graduated they not only helped me find a job but also 3 months after the fact called to follow up also informing me to contact them again for future job placement. As a veteran that was lost in the community college scene this was a breath of fresh air and being around a veteran friendly staff and other veterans or current active duty, I was able to become successful. Thank you Mayfield College for the life changing opportunity!!!!

I am really really happy with where I am right now and Mayfield helped a LOT in getting me here. I love being a medical assistant! The staff and students are really friendly and I liked going to Mayfield more than high school! haha I was honestly a little skeptical at first about going but in the end I am so glad I went here!I wasnt able to find a job right away after i graduated but the college never gave up or forgot about me. They were sending out my resume and kept working to find me a job (even when I started getting frustrated)... But one day I got the call from career services about an interview she set up..and a few days later I GOT THE JOB!!!

My experience at Mayfield College in 29 Palms has been phenomenal . All staff go above and beyond to cater their students. They are very nice and prompted at answering any questions you may have. As a military spouse I was that frantic wife facing the uncertainty of my families future . I thought to my self whats next after life in the military. My husband has no college back round and his MOS is extremely limited in the civilian world. When my husband came home from his deployment he had 6mo left before his EAS date no A,B or C plan. He drove by Mayfield every day to and from work and decided to go in and check it out. Next thing you know he and I both decided to take the courses offered. My husband took HVAC and I used my MYCAA to take the CST course. We are both now very happy with our jobs and where Mayfield College has gotten us. We proudly say we are very HAPPY with life after the military thanks to Mayfield college in 29 Palms. My husband has been placed in a phenomenal job working full time and gets HMO Medical insurance for himself and our family making better then expected money. I am now working in a job field that is growing tremendously and I get the honor to be apart of this growing process along the way. I would recommend this college to anyone who is looking for as a life time career. You cant go wrong with A four month program four hours a day four days a week and best of all they offer life time job placement.

Hi, my name is Shayla Fortier and I was a honor roll student, had perfect attendance and ended up working at the school in the night class. All that was nothing because I could not do what was required of the externship. They expect AT LEAST 20 hours a week of working for free and being overworked by the job space required for your program. They will try to sell you on well everybody is overworked so U can get a job bull-honkey. They can care less about your life outside of THEIR paycheck, please believe me on that. I was dropped because I couldnt afford to work for free, not worth being homeless for some credentials. I was in Massage Therapy and now completely regret I had anything to do with MAYFIELD COLLEGE. You are asking for damaged credit and a HUGE life lesson on READING THE SMALL PRINT. DO NOT JOIN MAYFIELD COLLEGE!I had to put 1 star because I cant post anything without it, I give 0 credit and 0 acknowledgement to their Educational System.
