It’s a wonderful school, with lovely guides and head. I cant’t recommend it enough. I only wish they had classes for older children too!

My children have been enrolled at Guidepost Montessori for nearly a year. It is with tears in my eyes that I write how absolutely wonderful it has been. We moved to Austin from Houston after going through a divorce. The warmth, friendship and security that Guidepost Montessori has brought to our little family has been life changing. My children are so happy, busy learning and overall engaged. They are excited to go to school, and are talking up a storm about all that they learn. One of the heads of school told me one day - “Now we also are your support and your family.” It is a very special place.

Our 4 yr old son has been going attending for 2 years and we have witnessed his transformation from a very shy toddler to a confident, engaged and happy little boy. The staff is amazing and the new owners have invested so much into the school (complete renovation including new Motessori material as well as ongoing training of the staff. They are now open on most holidays which has been a huge help for our family. Management is wonderful: friendly, approachable and incredibly caring. We love it!

Miss Leah was amazing. My son learned so much at this school. We moved and had to leave the school. I started homeschooling my son over the summer and realized that Kindergarten was too easy for him. He just turned 5 and is in 1st grade. Thank you Miss Leah for making learning fun!

We joined this school in September of last year after relocating from Houston. I love the cozy atmosphere and the attentive staff. Since joining the ownership changed and although nervous about the unknowns. The transition has been great, excellent communication and theyve kept the kids as the number 1 priority throughout the process.

I recently enrolled my 4 year old son to Cypress Creek Montessori School. He is more sensitive suffers from separation anxiety, and the teachers and director have been phenomenal at handling drop off. They are so nurturing and loving, making him more and more comfortable in a short period of time. I can really care that the staff CARES about each student, and the parents. They are committed to accommodating my needs as a parent, and they also offer suggestions for making the transition to a new school as smooth as possible. Its a small school environment, which I love because of the personalized and individual attention they provide. The student teacher ratio wonderful, and I am confident that my son is in good hands.

My son has been at CCMS for the past 5 months and we had an awesome experience. Very disciplined, great staff and good teaching! From the outside it looks like a small school but the kids have space for everything they need to do. Spacious classrooms and playground.Last week, they had Mothers Day celebration and I must say it was sweet! My son loves the school and his teacher Ms Leah.A positive about the school - I didnt see the existing staff leave their jobs in the past 5 months - the school must be doing something right there as compared to some other schools we have been, where there is a high employee/teacher turn over.

My daughter goes to Cypress Creek Montesorri and we love it. I have watched her grow and develop her skills over the last year and a half and we are headed to kindergarten. I have no worries- I am certain she is going to continue to shine there. We sent her to give her practice with a classroom environment and a chance to practice social skills in a safe place, and they have helped her build her skills in both areas. Her academic development and life skills have also blossomed while she was there. She sometimes comes home and surprises me with facts or skills! By far, the best part of the school is the personnel. Her teachers are both kind and loving, AND keep tight enough reign to keep my wild child focused (and get her ready to focus in the next level). It feels like we are greeted by friends every morning when we arrive at school, no matter who we run into, whether it is the director, her teachers, or teachers from other classes. They all know her and they all know me, and they make us feel welcome and safe as soon as we cross the threshold.

My girl has been doing there for a year and I cant recommended enough. She came from a traditional preschool and the Montessori method made her more confident. The school is small and has a loving atmosphere. Always clean and organized too. She knows and likes all the staff, specially Ms Leah, her main teacher. She will be leaving soon for Kindergarten but I think Cypress Creek Montessori School made a great job preparing for this next chapter! Thank you all!

Both my son and daughter have attended CCMS since age 2 - kindergarten. We had nothing but a spectacular experience. The teachers each of them had in primary are still there and the director (Ms. Tonya) is incredible. We feel well-communicated with and love the small family feel of the school, which differentiates it from some of the chain preschools. Would absolutely encourage you to put this on your short list.

My son was very shy and hesitant to start preschool this year after being at someones home for the past 4 years. However, he now LOVES Cypress Creek Montessori and said he doesnt want to change schools (he will be going to kindergarten next year). The teachers and staff are very friendly and truly supportive, and there are always things/activities to look forward to. He has had a wonderful first experience for his first year of school!!!

My son has attended CCMS since he was 2 years old and is going to kindergarten in the fall. We moved him to CCMS from a daycare setting and he has flourished in the structured environment. From an education perspective, his math, reading, geography and a lot of common sense skills have more than prepared him for kindergarten. He has learned the art of order and cleaning up after himself (probably the most amazing perk from a mom perspective). He has also gained some valuable leadership skills by receiving help from older kids and passing it along as he has become one of the older students. One more thing worth mentioning is that the lead teachers and director have been the same throughout our entire time there and my son knows and loves the entire staff of teachers. Overall, we have had a great experience at Cypress Creek Montessori School.

I’m so happy I sent my son(4 years old)and my daughter(22 months)to this school when we moved to our new home last year .My neighbor highly recommended this school to me because their granddaughters studied there.CCMS is small, but cheaper and better than the prior Montessori school they went.My kids love this school and their teachers.Director Ms.Tonya is very nice and patient to these kids.I always saw how she take care of the crying kids,I felt so safe and moved because I know she would do the same thing to my kids when I’m not there.Although my son just stayed there six months, but the Main teacher Ms Leah gave him good inspire on the continents and Other knowledge. When he went to the kindergarten, his teacher surprised that he can draw the world map by himself quickly.I’m very happy to see he can sit still and concentrate on one thing for a long time.My daughter went to CCMS from a baby to a big girl.Just turned 3 and moved to the preschool class (Ms Leah’s class)from the toddler classroom. She loves her school so much.Even when I kept her at home when she was sick, she still wanted to go to school. In the toddler class, there are a lot of teachers.Good students and teacher ratios.I can feel all of the teachers loved my daughter from their heart. There are very careful to take care of the kids such as cutting the grapes to two parts, giving the detailed report to you when there was an accident. Thanks to Ms Anshu(Main teacher )and Ms Tara,Ms Madusha ,Ms Hailey. When I heard Ms Tara said I’m proud of you to my daughter, because she did great when she moved to preschool classroom.I cannot control tears from my eyes.Highly recommend this school.

We have been a part of the Cypress Creek Montessori community for over 6 years. Our 2 children attended Cypress Creek Montessori and it has been a wonderful experience for them and us as parents. The environment at CCMS is nurturing while still fostering growth and independence. The teachers truly care about their students and invest in their success. CCMS goes above and beyond to include families in their curriculum. Not only will your children receive preparation for kindergarten, but they will also acquire life skills for success. You will feel the sense of community at CCMS the minute you walk through the door. We have known Tonya, the director and Leah, primary 2 teacher since we enrolled our children. They have been an integral part our children’s development. As a parent, I will be forever grateful that they were a part of my children’s lives at such an impressioniable time. Thank you CCMS.

My son has been to several traditional preschools and another Montessori school before we put him in CCMS, and this is the best school weve encountered so far. He has been in CCMS for 1.5 years now, and about to graduate to kindergarten. He has changed from a hyperactive boy who often gets in trouble, to a confident boy who knows how to respect himself and others. He really loves the teachers there, and doesnt want to leave. Here are the pros and cons of CCMS in our opinion.Pros:* The two primary lead teachers (Ms. Nirupa and Ms. Leah) are very professional. They know the Montessori methodology well, and their teaching style is kind and firm. Their kindness builds trust with the children, and the firmness ensures discipline, which is the foundation for their learning.* The director (Ms. Tonya) does a great job running the school. She is both warm and professional, and runs this small school like a big family. We always feel fortunate to be part of this family.* The tuition is very reasonable. Unlike many upscale Montessori schools, CCMS doesn’t overcharge parents for fancy activities or donation parties. Instead, it focuses on core Montessori learning, and keeps its cost low, which in turn benefits the families.* The school is very spacious. There is enough room for everyone both in the classrooms and outside in the backyard. This really helped our son to calm down and learn about personal space.* The school offers healthy, low-sugar snacks. On occasions like easter egg-hunt or Christmas gift exchange, they don’t allow junk food and encourage students to exchange books and stationery.Cons:* The only downside of the school I could think of is its distance to our place and the traffic along the way. It takes around 30 mins one way. With traffic, we usually spend more than 2 hours each day on the road, just to drop off and pick up our son. But still, we think it’s worthwhile for the great education our son is getting at CCMS.
