We LOVE Emler! We enrolled all 3 of our young children in swim lessons because we know that its critical for safety and to decrease the risk of drowning. Our kids have started in the baby and toddler classes, and moved all the way up through advanced swimmers. I feel so much more confident in their skills with every season. We love Shawn - he is really incredible with my 8yo and so patient and encouraging. And, Brynn is amazing with my 3yo - she is just the sweetest and my daughter loves her. We plan to continue with Emler until they age out!

We love Emler! Our daughter has been attending since she was 4 months old; now almost 3 years old. She’s had many teachers and has enjoyed every second of her time at Emler. This semester she has Mr. Shawn and he is an absolute gem. The joy I see her have each week in Shawn’s class is just so heart warming. He is goofy and silly and appeals so much to the kid’s fun side, while simultaneously being fantastic at nurturing the growth of their skills. I have seen our daughter progress so much in this semester. She is more confident in the water and visibly strives to complete her tasks successfully, more than just coming to have a good time.

My daughter and I love her weekly lessons here. A wonderful facility. Everyone is amazingly friendly and seems genuinely happy in their day to day which I find to be a great sign of awesome team culture that can only benefit the people they help every day!Mr Ethan interacts fabulously with the kiddos. My daughter has learned so much in a short time and Ethan is always sure to check if parents have any questions or concerns.All the instructors seem to have a great time with the kids and the lessons but I feel especially lucky to have selected Mr Ethans class for my daughter to learn and grow

We are so happy that our children are taking lessons at Emler. Our youngest takes class with Ethan and he is wonderful. We look forward to going to the class. I was very cautious with letting my baby go underwater, but Ethan definitely made us feel safe. My oldest was that child that decided to scream and have extreme toddler meltdowns and we nervously kept going back with the encouragement and support of the staff. The last few classes he has made huge waves of improvement and the credit is due to their amazing team. We appreciate every instructor and team member. Thank you for all that you do.

We always have a great experience at Emler with all of their teachers. This summer we chose to take the 2 week course where we went everyday. Her teacher Miss Emily was really a difference maker for our daughter. She took our daughter who didnt want to put her head underwater to swimming on her own by the end of the two weeks. Emilys personality and teaching ability gave our daughter the confidence to take risks. Her class was the right about of structure and fun to grow our little swimmer. We would highly recommend her!

Absolutely love Emler! They’ve been great getting us scheduled each semester and keeping up their COVID protocols to keep our kids as safe as possible. My son loves swimming with Shawn; it’s amazing how patient he is with wiggly preschoolers. He always knows how to get them giggling AND following directions. Definitely recommend!!

Mr. Shawn is a phenomenal swim teacher! When my son first came to him he was so scared of the water. He wouldn’t put his face in, and couldn’t swim at all. By the third class you wouldn’t even recognize my son. Mr. Shawn helped him become a natural in the water! He swims like a fish now! Mr. Shawn is patient, kind, and you can tell he truly cares for his students. You won’t find a better swim teacher. 10/10 recommend!!

Mr. Shawn is AMAZING! He has such a passion to teach all his students ANDDDD......he has lots of patience. I love how he gives parents feedback on what the class worked on, do demonstrations, and praise and encouragement to his students. No wonder he’s the most requested instructor! My youngest had bad experiences with swim lessons at other places in the past that left her afraid of learning to swim, but now shes making huge progress at Emler! She loves her teacher Ethan, and hes done a wonderful job of making her more comfortable and confident in the water.My older daughter has moved up through a couple of teachers and had really good experiences with all. Her favorite has been Kaneitra, who was great about encouraging her and helping to improve her form.

We LOVE ETHAN!! He has helped my two and five year old so much. Helped them relax so much and be happy in the pool and feel secure with lessons again! He is so great and patient with the kiddos and when I ask my kids if they are ready to go to swim lessons they literally say YAY!! Lets go swim with Mr. Ethan!! PS. Their other teachers are great too from what Ive seen, but Mr. Ethan takes the cake with my kiddos!

Mia has been a phenomenal influence on my 2, now 2 1/2 year old son. He’s confident in the water, has transitioned through so many levels with her and he genuinely loves swimming because of her. Highly recommend Miss Mia at Emler- Cedar Park!

Ms. Mia is an amazing teacher! My son always loves to see her! She lets the students learn at their own pace and do what they are comfortable with! She always has a smile on her face- we are so happy to have Ms. Mia as our teacher!

We have loved Emler for our son, especially Ms. Mia who did a wonderful job making both our son and us more comfortable. We love Emler. It feels clean, organized and the staff gets to know their families by name. Our instructor Ethan is awesome & we make sure to ask for him every semester. Ethan is great with our 1 year old & makes swimming fun and playful. Not at all scary. If our little one is having a bad day, Ethan doesnt push him. Instead, Ethan does what he can to make him smile. This has been an amazing experience. During the summer my son went from not wanting to get his head in the water to diving for toys. Mia has been amazing and we cant wait to see what the fall semester has in store for my son.

We have been swimming with Emler since my son was 4 months old. He loved it but then because of covid we got out of the grove for 1 year and he became scared of the water, especially going underwater. Mr. Shawn at Emler Cedar Park was amazing!!! He was extremely patient with my son and didn’t push/force him if he was crying from fear. Mr. Shawn worked his magic and within a few months, my son LOVES the water and doesn’t mind going underwater anymore! I’ve seen so much progress already.Definitely 10/10 recommend!

My 7 year old twins both took swim lessons from Olivia at Emler Cedar Park and loved her class. She was very patient and attentive to each child. Weve had a great experience with every instructor theyve had at Emler. We like that theyre focused on teaching skills and safety in the water. They also manage to get our reluctant son to join class willingly.

We love Kelsey! She is so patient, helpful, explains everything really well so its easy to take that info and transfer it to our pool at home. She makes a first time mom feel comfortable when baby is learning to hold her breathe and the parents have to let go which isnt easy for us. She is our favorite and we wish she taught all levels so we can have her again when we get to the next swim level. Definitely recommend Emler and Kelsey!

I enrolled my daughter at Emler Cedar Park since she was 6 mo, she is now a happy unruly 3 years old :). Three weeks ago she fell into the pool and I was so impressed at how she managed herself in the water: she calmly turn and grabbed to the wall. I started singing the song Elbow, elbow, tummy, knee she smiled and cheerfully got out of the pool.No cries, no fears, no bad associations with the pool/water bodies thanks to the excellent work of Emlers instructors. I am so much at peace with her around the pool, and I cannot recommend HIGHLY enough this swimming school -and their caring and amazing staff Kuddos to you!Keep up doing an awesome job!

My two year old daughter has been at Emler for over a year now. I love how confident she is in the water. The instructors at Emler are great. The waterbabies instructor, Ms. Mia, is awesome!

We did water babies before the pandemic and absolutely loved it. My daughter started out not happy with going under water and then by the end of the semester she was able to hold her breath for at least 8 seconds.We now just started back this semester with advanced aquatots and my daughter loves it. She loves her teacher Shawn. I have been amazed with how well he handles teaching several 3 year olds making it fun for them while teaching them important skills. My daughter screamed the first class because this was her first time really doing something without mom right there in a long time. But that didn’t phase Shawn and by the second class she was loving it! So amazing. She has already improved so much in the few classes we have done.I have been impressed with all the instructors and I feel a lot better taking my 3 year old to the pool because she is learning so much from Emler and I feel like she has tools she needs to be safer in the water.

Elmer is a great swim school! Our daughter has had a blast here all because of Shawn. Every time we go to our HOA pool, she asks if we are going to see Shawn when we say pool.

S/O to Mr. Shawn! Our youngest was pretty scared of going under water and jumping into the pool, but somehow Mr. Shawn got her to feel more comfortable and now she actually laughs during her lessons. Such a big turnaround!

Shout out to Mr. Shawn. We request him each semester. My daughter talks about him at home! He is super friendly, playful and productive. The kids always seem to have a good time while completing their tasks. Since covid, we haven’t been able to hear them but we can see all the smiles and laughter from Mr. Shawn and the kiddos. He’s confident and patient even when the kids might need a little extra time.

Mr. Shawn is very patient and attentive to each child’s strengths and weaknesses. Extremely encouraging to every child. My grandson enjoys class so much he hates to leave. We are glad we chose Elmer.

Elmer Swim School is an excellent place for children to learn swimming. In just a few lessons, my little one can swim a few feet without floatees. All the instructors are great at their job. Ms. Hannah is great with children.Ms. Makenzie was an amazing instructor for my two boys. They loved working with her. They have improved a lot. Kids love her because the classes were fun and she is funny.

All three of my girls (from ages 1-7) have taken swim classes at Emler over the course of about 4 years on and off. Our 4 year old has grown to love her weekly swim lesson and they have helped tremendously with her coming out of her shell and for having something she is proud of. Mr Shawn has been her teacher almost the entire time, which is a big deal since she is painfully shy. He is patient and gentle and all around awesome. She looks forward to his lessons and high fives and the little water squirt thing he does when she does a great job! Thanks, Mr Shawn!

We enrolled our 2 year old in Ethan’s Waterbabies class and he was incredible. Ethan was warm, super attentive even though it’s an action packed class, and he had a knack for communicating with the babies. This was the first swim class we ever did and the first group activity since COVID so I was nervous but Ethan was so joyful, you could tell he loved working with babies. We had to stop going after a few weeks because the commute was too long but I will always remember Ethan!!

We have been so impressed with Emler and their dedication to safety at all times, especially during the pandemic. I felt very comfortable bringing my daughter to swim class each week. My daughter has been with Ms. Kelsey in Waterbabies for over a year and has learned so much! It can be a difficult transition from the parent being in the water with the swimmer to out of the water where they are just with the teacher. Ms. Kelsey was so patient and worked with her week after week and now my 2 year old is totally comfortable swimming with her teacher and classmates. My daughter is able to get herself to the wall and pull herself out which is a super important safety skill! We were getting ready for swim class this morning and my daughter said “I love swimming. Mr. Shawn made a huge difference in my daughters swimming experience. He is very patient and keeps a fun and safe environment for the little kids (3-5). My 3-year old used to be very scared of the water and would not let go on an adults arms, always wanted to be held in the pool. Now, she is learning fast and feels more and more confident in the water.

I took my 4 year-old granddaughter, Emery, to Emler to learn how to swim. Emery was scared and crying; she didnt want to go to swim lessons. Her swim instructor, Kaneitra, made Emery feel safe enough to try. Kaneitras beautiful smile, encouragement, and high five water slaps coaxed Emery along all semester. When I arrived to take Emery to her last session with Kaneitra, Emery was waiting in the front yard with her father, dressed in her swimsuit and eager to go swimming and see Ms. Kaneitra! What a turn-around, all thanks to the wonderful Ms. Kaneitra!

Sean is an awesome swim teacher! He knows each kid personally, and is really good about customizing the lesson based on their skill set. We have been at Emler for several years and have always appreciated their customer service and flexibility in classes.

Michelle is the best! She was very kind and patient with my baby during the water babies and bath time babies class. You can tell she loves what she does and is very knowledgeable about water safety and swim skills.

We love Emler. This has been such a great thing. Both our kids have been swimming since they were infants! A friend told me that there was free baby swim class - so I joined and loved it! Chance to bond with my NB and get first time Mama out of the house. What I didn’t realize going in as a nervous and tired first time parent - how much I would learn.Growing up in Central TX , we were constantly in the water. So getting my kids water trained was something I knew I wanted to do. Not only did I have bonding time with my baby, but I grew more confident as a Mama.I learned how to be with my kids in the water ; how to truly watch them and allow them to swim, and build their skills and confidence. It had not been a one time thing. This works! Before my oldest turned 3 - she was swimming and holding her breath ( with in a couple feet of Mama), but she was confident and so was iI can not rave enough about Emler. I tell everyone with little kids to get them into swim class. We’ve made great friendships - and my kids are swimming!!! And we are all so much more water aware and safe. Water safety is super important for us. Thanks Emler!We’ve done lessons at both Cedar Park and Anderson Milll. They are so helpful with trying to find the right classes and schedule!! All the teachers and staff are professional and cross trained. It is a scary thing - introducing your baby to water, but it is doable and could save their life with the skills they teach at Emler.

Michelle was our instructor and she was very good. Compassionate with the children but also serious when necessary. We are very happy with her. Bella loves Michelle.

Terrible communication!! I called and left a message trying to get my child signed up and no one ever called me back. So a few days later I emailed them and then it took them a few days to email me back. I finally got signed up and everything was OK, the instructor was great, but I had to miss a class and someone told me that I would receive an email about the make up class date/time. I never got that email, so I called to see when the make up class would be and I left a message, and of course no one ever called me back. I will likely not be registering here again.

We have loved swimming at Emler in Cedar Park with Ethan and Michelle and the other families in our classes! We appreciate the patience and expertise in swimming that all of the staff has shown. We have learned so much! Heidi has gone above and beyond to make our swimsperience successful, and we are so thankful for everybody on the team!

We have long loved Emler but today we had our first class with Mr. Ethan and it was so fun! I am so excited to be in his class.

My boys love coming to Elmer Swim and I can’t believe how much they have learned in such a short time. Everyone there is so welcoming and friendly. From the moment you walk in the receptionist greets you and she is always helpful with all my questions and gets back to me right away! My kids have enjoyed having Lauren as a teacher as well as Ethan. Even though they are not in his class anymore he always says hello to the boys. Thanks for all you do for my kids!! I know teaching kids isn’t always the easiest but you all are so patient. :-)

My 6mo old just completed the Bathtime Babies class with Ethan! It was such an enjoyable experience and has been so fun to watch LOs love for water grow. Ethan was such an awesome teacher - so patient and accommodating on those days when LO just needed a little extra grace! Always had a smile on his face and would take the time to interact with each LO. My daughter loved him and we can’t wait to start Waterbabies with him this summer!

We have been incredibly happy with Elmer! Our daughter started when she was about 3.5 years old and had only had a few weeks of a mommy and me class at a different swim school prior. In literally two weeks we saw actual skill forming and in less than 3 months of lessons (including some time off for the pandemic) she was able to jump in the pool fully clothed and swim back to the wall all by herself (amongst lots of other great skills). We are now onto learning freestyle and swimming with arms and legs and NO FLOATIES!! I’m very impressed with how quickly her skill is developing and how truly kind and caring the instructors are!! Highly recommended!

Our daughter loves her swimming teachers at Emler! Some of her other classes (ballet, etc.) go through periods of love/hate, but she ALWAYS wakes up eager to go see Coach Shawn on Saturday mornings. She’s loved her other teachers here, too, including Brynn and Ethan. And most importantly, her ability to save her own life by swimming has steadily progressed. Thanks so much, Emler Team!

We love Emler Swim School! When my kids started off learning to swim, 1 went to the YMCA and private lessons, and the other started here. BOTH of my children learned WAY more here at Emler and grew tremendously in their confidence and skills. They’ve been like family to us and we love going back! We go year long and love the order in which they teach their curriculum. It makes sense and builds on the previous skills/ age appropriate development.

I have always felt that my kiddos were absolutely safe and cared for from the second they walked through the doors.They’ve now had 4 teachers, each one exceptional! They have each been safe, fun, engaging, kind, patient, and overall fantastic with the kids. The front desk has always been inviting, friendly, and involved. There are also deck managers within the pool, vigilantly surveying classes and helping when they see an opportunity. They make sure you truly feel that you’d child/ren are important to each staff member.If you are considering swim lessons, i very highly recommend you go for it, and do it at Emler in Cedar Park!

Mr Shawn has been an awesome swim teacher

I looked at quite a few different swim schools and finally decided on Elmer in CP and we couldn’t be happier. We are now in our 3rd season of lessons. My 3.5 year old loved the water before we joined Elmer, but because we have had the best swim teacher, #smilewithEthan, he loves it even more and the best part is he learning safety, how to float, swim & hold his breath all while having so much fun! Everyone is great at Elmer, but if you have the opportunity to have Ethan you won’t be disappointed! He is patient, makes it fun for the kids and is a great teacher. #Ethanisthebest!

I’ve been super satisfied with Elmers over the last two semesters and I’m signing up my daughter for the 3rd time. Lauren, The Aquatic Director at the Cedar Park location has been wonderful! Extremely friendly, warm and kind to everyone that comes into the location. The swim instructors here are amazing! If you live in Cedar Park, you’ll want to bring you child here!

Amazing! The best! The Emler team at Cedar Park are so understanding and patient. My son started off at Water babies and was doing fantastic. We moved him to advanced aquatics and thats when things went south. I was not in the water him anymore and he hated every moment of it. Screaming and crying the whole time nonstop. He hated going and I struggled to even get him in his swim suit. I was at a point of just quitting. The team helped in any way they could and told me to stick with it. We transitioned into having one on one with the instructor and it wasnt working so then we tried a different instructor. Soon they bonded and things started to get better. They played in the water and he started to trust her. After that we transitioned into a class with other kids and my little boy did amazing. Thank you for being patient with us and reminding me that its not just us and there are other kids who go through the same or similar process.

Our son has been coming here since he was 3. Hes 5 now and a great swimmer. Beyond the lessons he loved their boat days and swim in clothes safety days. Plan to send our other child here soon to.

We have been going to the cedar park location for over a year now. My little one started just under 1 year old. He’s now 2.5 yr and the teachers and staff have been so amazing, nice and accommodating ! Before the pandemic, during and going forward they have been so great !Shawn and Ethan have been super amazing teachers to my son with his swim lessons !

I cannot say enough about Elmer, specifically Mr. Shawn and Mr. Ethan. My 5 year old son has been attending Mr. Shawn’s class for about 6 months and has gone from being terrified of the water and not able to float, to swimming unassisted and loving going to class. Mr. Shawn has been beyond patient and made class so fun for him even when my son fought being there. Mr. Ethan has been my 2 year old’s instructor and you can tell he loves being there. He makes every class fun and engaging. She is just getting used to holding her breath under water and adds seconds each week. The school itself is run impeccably and with some of the best safety precautions (COVID and swim safety) I’ve seen. They greet you each week, and keep you informed of any changes and safety precautions. It has been such a treat for the kids to have a safe and well run activity in their routine during the pandemic and we plan to continue long after.

We love Emler! My 4-year-old is in his second class with Mr. David and has grown greatly in confidence & ability. He had a bad experience at another place leaving him fearful of the water but now has really come to love swimming. Thanks Emler and Mr. David!

My son has been attending Elmer off and on for over a year, his teacher is Ethan and we absolutely love him! My son has learned so much and Ethan is so patient and great with him! Would highly recommend!
